Hello all, its been a minute. I lost access to my original BTC acc and Onion acc, but was one of the OG's from airdrop #1. I hope all has been well lately, I've been away from crypto a lot. (still hodled my DO stack though   ).

Anyways, on a proper note I saw today that TOR is accepting 9 crypto's for their project, and thought hey why don't we reach out to them and ask them to accept Onions for their cause? I would easily donate a bunch myself as I see it as a worthy cause.

Which version are you running? There is a new wallet released (v1.8.1) with tighter timings for stakers to prevent conflict with the rest of the network:

I’m not sure what you mean by a best exchange. We can’t all agree which exchange is the best. Sure there are exchanges with bigger volumes that DeepOnion isn’t listed in but with the ridiculous amounts of money they’re asking, I think it’s better for the DeepOnion team to use such amounts on development than giving them just to gain a temporary boost in price. DeepOnion is listed in various exchanges, not just two or three exchanges, so it’s fine if we don’t have a listing in a tier 1 exchange yet.

How is it possible that a wallet forked itself?

I'm not in a position to explain this due to my lack of blockchain knowledge, but I think as the number of nods running v1.8 slowly increased, they started to compete with the larger pre-v1.8 network but failed because of added security checkpoints that were causing negligible delay. With time the number of v1.8 nods increased and the delay accumulated to become large enough to disrupt staking reward for v1.8 nodes. v1.8.1 has tighter timings which should match the rest of the pre-v1.8 until the next mandatory fork.
