I know what you mean. I have invested to a coin myself with great hopes since the team executed good to have an impression in the forum and so I tried sending some funds to see if its going to be profitable for me. When finally they got into an exchange, prices crumbles and the teams promises are just promises. You just can't expect something from greedy guys.

Investing in shitcoins is always risky but could be very very profitable in the end its up to your risk affinity.. being on the save side means investing in "real" projects. they also can give you a good return. so its better to invest in those preojects than risking to lose everything

It depends on the shitcoin. Sometimes, if you enter early, it IS possible to make a profit, assuming you picked the right one. But the right project needs to have a use case, solid dev team and frequent updates. Or at least VERY passionate support from the community which in turn leads to some noise around it (don't mistake with spamming because that's different).
However, they are all pretty dangerous during the bear so you need to be ready to hold through bear market and execute patience

Always been a problem around, those shit coins who promise a lots and give ambitious goals are projects that nothing at the end, we seen a lots of them being offered everyday, it's give some hope that if the coins succeeded it can bring huge profits, realizing reality, nothing's happen but a broken promises.

I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

Lessons learned the hard way can never be forgotten. It's called shitcoin simply because it has no future but only available to those that are smart enough to make profit from it by dumping on late investors. I often avoid shitcoins.

You were enlightened by your mistake and thank you for sharing it to the community so new investors will be aware. I also tried that since I noticed investing to new listed coins is much profitable rather than investing to ICO and realize that it's also risky and much risky as well but I also like your thinking that a person should stick to BTC and USDT. The bitcoin has a high volume which can be a great investment and the USDT is a stable type of coins in exchange.

Initially, especially when they just get listed,you see some pumping and people make lots of profits which then attracts people to but hoping to make profit quickly. But then you have to be careful when buying any coin as most coins now have no future. If you not sure of which coin to buy, seek the advice of someone with experience or just leave your investment in Bitcoin.

Sounds like you pretty much gave in to FOMO when those shitcoins were going up in value after getting listed...Little did you know that there are always the 'early adopters', the kind of people who spread their fiat among several shitcoins with the hope that one or more will get listed (that's pretty much a gamble) and will skyrocket in value just so they can dump on the newcomers. You learned the lesson the hard way, better late than never.

I know a lot of people wants to have the next Bitcoin (price movement wise) that is why they will always spend hours looking at ICOs, and they tend to always choose the ICO who has a lot of hype and promotions backing it. For a newbie this may look like to them that the ICO has a lot of supporters but the thing is hype does not translate to the ICO being successful, at the end most of them fell victim and the ones hyping it are the only ones who took profit from the ICO. People could really avoid the hype they are seeing just by doing a little bit of research and try to find out the hype behind it. But for newbies this doesn't really happen as they always believe what others are saying in the internet, and its enough for them to participate in it.

Well, actually this also includes good news because you learn new things about this. Other people may have got it first, (that's why their profit are bigger than us). Then he told the newbie trader to buy the coin and when he felt the price has rising good enough, He was become the man who sell his own token.

Of course they are going to be a disappointment. Those shit coins are made by the (shit) developers just to make some quick profit. They pumping of the price makes other users greedy and they start chasing after those profits. And once the price have been pumped enough, the coins get dumped by developers and then the coins eventually dies. Only those who entered and left the market first (usually the makers of the coin) makes the profit, while the rest of the users suffers huge loss!

Choosing Shitcoin is always a big chance game if you do not have information from the development team, you will undoubtedly lose money in investments. So investing in Shitcoin is risky and risky so you should not choose this form.

True, we should do our research before investing to something.  There is no harm in trading shitcoin if the person's aim is to have profit, just make sure you use the money you can afford to lose.  Market had been heavily manipulated ever since, whether it is shitcoin or not.  At the end of the day, it is the timing of when to buy and sell that counts.

Some major cryptocurrencies of today used to be shitcoins in the past... All you need to do is more research before making investments in order to decipher the usecase and available market for any investments u make in so called shitcoins

Nothing is as hurt as gambling on shit coins, hoping probably huge amount of profit will come out of it but later got wrecked when the project finally turn shit on exchanges!! The only way to stop battling with issues like this is to invest only on trusted projects with solid team.

Yeah shitcoins can instantly increase the amount of your money but behind this fact you also have high risk to lose your money too. If you don't have your own fundamental analysis from those shitcoins it is not recommended to trade them.
