It was and awesome and amazing game from both Teams to watch , and the referee have done an nice Job in this game also.
This Final was one from the finest , saddly that it was all the young players that got in the game that missed there penalty.
But yeah i am happy that Italy have made it .

I placed draw until Full Time so won mine as well. The Tripper addition was smart from Southgate and took Italy by surprise. Both left wings backs continued to give trouble until the end of first half. Second half Italy did well defending and also attacked very well. I also later on placed a bet on Italy to win trophies at SB as I opted for experience over young players and that is what happened. Donna pulled off some amazing saves and won the match for Italy.

I think England's defense line wasn't coordinating well. There were quite some chances for Italy in second half and you know Pickford is always demanding from his defenders but there is one Harry Maguire who isn't very much quick to react. Anyway England did well to come this far but at last didn't made it but hell yeah feel so cool about Bonucci and Chiellini finally getting the Trophy.

Interesting odds for Italy for those who are willing to back it, and not bad one for England. In this match there will be 2 winners, bookies and few lucky guys. I will not make any bet before seeing the first minutes of the game then I will decide. This shift towards England in bookies and news is worrying me.

Yes, this time the odds were quite interesting and it looks something gamblers have never thought. Myself have placed a small bet on Italy. Waiting for the match to start, and most of the gamblers who bet with big amount will be going on live betting mostly after the first half of the match. Myself feel it as the day for Italy for some reason.

My prediction came true and Italy have won the European Championship 2020, but my bet hasn't won. Myself placed @3.4 on Italy to win, and it has won on the penalties shoot. I could've gone for a draw. Does anyone got settled with their bet in such a manner.

In penalties, England have two chances but they waste all. Italy deserve to be the Champions.

Many people fell today, in winning that italy achieved in the 2021 UEFA EURO cup, this is a bloody blow suffered by England fans and bettors, seen loud cheers from England supporters at the beginning of the goal, obviously 80% of people support England.

I remember the history of Italy vs Spain in the semi-finals, the experience of the Spanish fans crying over losing to Italy, I believe yesterday before the final took place Italy vs England would lead to a penalty, history repeats itself against England, I have to admit Italy won the penalty shootout.

Congratulations Italy! They became the champions of Euro 2020 held this year! After 53 years, the Italians are the biggest in Europe again. England continues to be unlucky. They are sad to lose the trophy to the Italians in their own country. If they hadn't missed 3 penalties in a row, maybe we would have congratulated England today.

EURO 2020 Trophy get the destination. It ends with a quarrel between coming home or going to Rome. England lost on penalties, but what's painful is they brought in two young players at the last minute because of penalties, but you're right, Italy deserves the win. It looks like Italy is roaring again, 34 unbeaten games and hopefully they can keep it up for a while.

Defensive? Did you watch the match dude? If you watched the match, I do not think that you would say like that since in overall statistic Italy was dominating the game. There was a time when England gave hard pressure to Italy especially when the match was going to end but I cant say that Italy is defensive. Not only on this final match but in all matches during the tournament. The team managed by Mancini is different with Italy in the past when they were so famous as a defensive team but Mancini's team shows the opposite thing.

i think both the teams played well but eventually one has to win. We had the drama in the penalties too where by at one moment it seems that England will win because Italy missed the penalty but then England missed the last three penalties and eventually lost the match.

Italy deserve  to win the match they outplayed the English team dominating and taking majority of the possessions while England sat back and 'packed the bus' Southgate should have change that tactic and allow the team to come out and play attacking football  instead of defending a single goal.
It is a pity Southgate allowed a 19 years old Sancho and the other teenagers to play penalty shootout at that crucial period or should allowed this teenagers to play first before the  older players when likes of walker, stone can play better, congratulations to the Azurris for winning the cup and keeping their unbeaten records intact.

Italy obviously played better and deserved to be the winners but the game itself wasn't exciting at all. In fact, the game was very boring till the penalty shoots at the end of the game. I can't believe England missed 3 penalties and not only that, Italy missed 2.

How hard is shooting a penalty ffs? If you can't score a penalty you shouldn't be a football player imo. I can accept 1 miss but 3? That's stupid.

First of all congratulations to Italy for winning the Euro cup for the second time in their history.The biggest mistake was from the manager of England leaving the last penalty to a really young player.I think that he will have trouble now for the rest of his life when shooting a penalty as I think he will always remember this fail in the final.I can say that Italy deserved it more because had to fight against stronger teams like Belgium and Spain while England the only strong team they faced were Germany but Germany was really weak during this Euro cup.

I thought Sterling wasn't impressive in yesterday match and should have been changed early on, the final is not about big name but about who wants to play well that day, I thought I should have seen Saka in the match yesterday early or maybe Sancho even if they both missed a penalty, am sympathetic for the English national team and the country, but congratulations to Italy, I think the football world won't want Chelline or Brazagli  pardon me if I spelt it wrongly, but we won't want to see them retire, they are still very fit and the young attackers can infiltrate them, I think the two teams were all even and the penalties was the only way.

I feel sorry for those who missed the penalties, I guess that the pressure was too big to handle, but the problem was in the first half. England should have been continued to play and score instead of doing that lame waiting game after the first goal.

Italy's first goal was rather lucky, but their comeback afterwards was impressive. The stats are all in Italy's favor, but I think that all could have been different if England would have used better the psychological advantage they had in the first half.

All in all tough luck England, congrats Italy! And why not, congrats UEFA, this late EURO 2020 was better than many others.

Thats true, if his mind wasn't strong enough, he would remember this as the most painful incident of his career. Even some veteran and retired players there are also have same conditions with him, even on national team or club. The results of the Italian champions were also a perfect results, because since the group phase, Italy had never lost until they became champions.

England played very well in the first half. They were very confident and created many chances, one of which was converted into a goal. But unfortunately, they couldn't maintain the rhythm in the second half and had to concede a goal which forced the game to continue with extra time and finally a penalty to be taken. England were not as lucky with penalty kicks as they had been.

Yes, I was shocked when I saw it was Saka taking the final penalty. He looked terrified as he was preparing to take it. At that moment it doesn't matter who takes the best penalties in training; in a high pressure shootout in the final of a major championship, what you need most is an older player with a lot of experience.

I wanted England to win, and losing on penalties is always hard to take. But I am glad for Saka that other England players missed penalties too. That should make it much easier to bear. It would have been different if everyone scored and he was the only one to miss.

Anyway, great Euros, and next stop Qatar 22!
