When a gambling addict becomes too lazy with other things outside of gambling, sooner or later he will forget his responsibilities as a family member and as a member of the society. And worse, he can interfere with the finances of other family members when he no longer has the money to gamble. Gambling can be very dangerous if we cannot control it. So becareful!

A lot of people misunderstand the problems of addiction. It is not about being lazy, it is not about being problematic et cetera. Studies show that people who suffer from addiction have something deficient in the way their minds understand logical thought. So a gambler does not see the problem of losing continually,,, and casinos take advantage of this.

Tough everytime I see this type of thing, we can only offer support and like drinking, be a friend. Tell them to stop when you see it.

Supporting them and let them realize only work for the initial stage of addiction and also they are getting addicted to something mostly when they feel lonely so obviously no one is going to take care of them if they lose more money and endanger their health as well.

This is the sign of danger as definitely longer they play higher the chances of addiction and this will definitely have more of ill effects. This also means that most likely it can have a bad relationship too and it can even effect the mental state of the person.

I also know some, they have some success in sports gambling and they don't aim an unrealistic win rate as they know gambling is not an easy way to make money. They have set a good bankroll that they will use in the game, and their target is long term using the proper bankroll management.

I also know some, they have some success in sports gambling and they don't aim an unrealistic win rate as they know gambling is not an easy way to make money. They have set a good bankroll that they will use in the game, and their target is long term using the proper bankroll management.

In between some fall as a prey for greed. Very few gamblers have the ability to overcome the greed and keep themselves within the bankroll. Some used to pick the highest odd even after knowing the low chance of winning. All the above we need not prioritize it as a way of earning, only then everything happens in the right path.

For some reason, the gamble for the poor sounds very funny.  I am sure that a gambler who is addicted to gambling, despite having a big captain, will someday become a beggar and lose his money if he does not control his desires and think about his capabilities.

It is better for poor people doesn't play gambling because it could attract them to deeper on the gambling games and they could borrow from other people's money. That will make them difficult to pay back the money, especially if they lose big money because they don't have any money to pay. They need to stay away from gambling places and never try to gamble.

This is how gambling work, some gamblers win while the others also losing. It is quite acceptable that there is more losing than winning in a certain thing that not all of us are lucky that day. It somebody couldn't claim and even legendary gambler won't experience losses cause they are also human and not robots who still be in the wrong decision.

Gambling should not be taken as a profession, it is a mode of entertainment and even though some people call themselves as professional gamblers their credibility about "gambling" is often misleading. They are mostly living off affiliate marketing from casinos and are like paid promoters of casinos and their games. If someone gambled for a living then they would not be living at all.

True, but you see that person who is rich did not become rich by just inheritance and thus they know how to manage their money and what is going to be a profitable spending. While a poor person knows that they are poor and thus try their luck. That is why the rich remain rich and the poor become poor. The opposite is possible for those who are willing to change though so these are not absolute.

Agree to that, pro gamblers are always seeing opportunities and they properly convert their time and efforts inside the gambling house to bring home the bacon, this people are also taking more time inside the gambling house since they needed to play wisely and not too aggressive to ensure that they won't lose much but rather a high chance to quit with decent profits inside their pockets.

They indeed are seeing opportunities but the reality of a professional gamblers is thay most of them are also broke  because in this business money flows faster. You can win the money overnight but you can also lose the money overnight.

People are missunderstanding the fact that every night is not good for every professional gamblers most of them loses as well because they also became more greedy. Or it is just a badluck for them. Gambling professionally takes a lot of guts.

Some people sees it as a way of living most especially those people who are lucky enough to win everytime and those people who have strong emotions under stress and pressure after  a loss. Yes, mathematically it may seem that the home always wins, but if we proceed from here, every living creature will eventually experience death, so we can think of why this is the endeavor. For the most part those people are lazy, they just want to make money without any effort, and while there are some professional gamblers out there their numbers are very limited and are focused on games like poker where you are not playing directly against the house but against other players, many dream of a life like that where you only need to play a game to make your money but even among professional poker players only a selected few make enough money to justify dropping their jobs and dedicate themselves exclusively to poker.

You're correct, today gambling is seen as a source of income and a means to an end which is wrong, it will make the gambler to put far too much money into it, just so they could earn big and make a living in the process.
That's the wrong way to take gambling, it should just be used to test predicting skills and the returns should be seen as a reward for that, when one sees gambling as a fun activity, only then can they cool their nerves and think well before playing.

Because gambling is risky so of course if you play all of your money you become destitute. Many people became poor because they gamble everyday until their money all gone. But it's their choice fo play even they know the consequences they still play in gambling and only some of them are lucky and most of them losing more money until they become poor.

The worst thing is most gamblers are poor and they aim to be rich but what they get? they become poorer.

You said it already, they are aware of the risks they are taking, that means they can take the risk.

It is true that gamblers usually don't care about the losses they have, about the time they are wasting in a gambling site or a casino, but I don't think that is a problem if you can afford to gamble. Addiction is still probable to happen but as you said, they know the risks and that means they are aware of what they can lose or what might happen to them so let them be.
