I am sick of new people who are here only for bitcoin price, only for gains and still talking about price ... Everywhere i see like bitcoin will go to 100,000 USD or 1,000,000 USD, they only want to get rich fast but bitcoin is not about it ... Bitcoin is about freedom and privacy . I see us as some kind of warriors against governments and central banking cartels, we are here to claim our rights and freedom back! We are here to create powerful tools that give more power to individual against governments ! We are here to change our monetary system ! Every government basically corrupt, they dont care about other people, i think every politician should be representative of his voters , but i feel its like we are serfs ! Think about it ...

I like the idealism that you have OP but honestly, you cannot take away the human part from bitcointalkers. We are all humans, and humans are mostly greedy and opportunists. We find something that can make us rich, we go for it.
In a perfect world, what OP said can happen. But we are not living in a perfect world.

I totally agree with your sentiments, and this is why Satoshi build bitcoin in the first place. However, when bitcoin started from $0.01 to $100 then it became an assets, an investment to the majority that's why everyone is really talking about the price, and some about the technology behind. |

Pity to those people who think that Bitcoin is an easy to get rich scheme but don't stress yourself out if you know what is the real purpose of it. Freedom and privacy has been with Bitcoin ever since and still there so it's fine let's just wait for the time that it would reveal its real use cases in the future, we can't do nothing to what other's people mindset in getting rich with cryptocurrency though its their freedom after all so let's just respect each other and live your life to the fullest, be calm!

Get used to it and dont stress or bother yourself out because people do have different kind of mentality.People will easily be dragged of on making profits rather than thinking on the tech behind bitcoin and the benefit that it can give to them when it comes to financial control and accessibility together with anonymity. But somehow i cant really blame people do think of this way yet making money is somehow easy compared into any other traditional business and money making methods but they are just way too being hyped up. |

People who think that bitcoin is a get rich scheme is somewhat a noob investor. I guess it steam from the news that the price is making significant gain year-to-year. That's why a lot FOMO, lots of buyers during it massive bull-run. And even it is at its highest, there are still irrational getting in and believed that the growth will continue and they ride along to get rich easily, but they are all wrong.

I know guys, I also think it is a perfect investment, but when you meet some other person who heard just few times about bitcoin so they first question is ''whats the price ?'' It like he or she totally misunderstood the whole purpose of bitcoin and that always piss me off, it like he or she dont care about things that bitcoin solves or what problems can bitcoin solve...

I think you are right, Most of the people in crypto forget that it is made for freedom and privacy. But most of us forgot about it because of our greed on money, Most of us here are after the profit not for the use of freedom and privacy . |

This idea that you could get rich with bitcoin in was probably true in the past when the price was down to only a few dollars but right now that's absolutely impossible. I don't know why people still talk about this, probably because newbies spread the word wrong and people have a bad mindset about bitcoin but getting rich with bitcoin is not anymore possible.

Agree, rising from cents into thousands of dollars as its value will really drive investors to become greedy towards it.. We cant blame them for being to attach in terms of bitcoin value.. It gave them lots of bag full of dollars... However, the real benefits of having bitcoin became less worthy.... We didn't think now what really the purpose of bitcoin in our daily lifestyles.... We totally used bitcoin on some illegal and scam works.. That's why still a lot of people didnt believe on it.. But, if people are totally informed of all the things that bitcoin can do, soon more and more people will invest into it... |

You know you can't really blame people especially those newbies that are new to cryptocurrency. I mean all of us are chasing profits. Who wouldn't right? Tell me, are you the kind of person that says that, "it's okay it is just 10k usd, it's okay for me to lose that." If you are this kind of person, then you are a hypocrite. All of us really do chase profits, but those people like us that knew the flow of cryptocurrency, we're not chasing profit fast. I know that bitcoin isn't the fastest way for you to earn money. And long term investment is the best investment of all time since, the more span of time you invested, the more profit you'll get. Dude, instead of being irritated by these type of people teach them the way.

People got this paradigm because of the lending system 2 years ago that made people rich fast. But at the end people realised it was just a ponzi scheme, and till right now, when people heard bitcoin they must be think about getting rich fast |

That's their right if they think that Bitcoin can make them rich, but my opinion about being rich is someone who has a smart mind by doing business, opening a job like a home industry and many other businesses or other things that he thinks make money and are accompanied by prayer and work hard without relying on bitcoin.

yes all lay people will say that bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, where they can get multiple profits. but in reality it is not only getting rich quick, it can even make you poorer quickly. because people will see how sweet those who have been rich from here, without looking at their work first. after all bitcoin was designed as a payment system, but has now changed with the assumption that people who see bitcoin as an investment to get rich quick.
