hide in the taskbar, too, can not, when you close - the program closes
uncomfortable

шin list pool is minergate - but through the purse it can not be mined in Minergate, only registration ... if the Minish through the program - how to know where the coins go - it needs to be removed from the list

reading this:
https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/852/what-is-the-origin-of-monero-and-its-relationship-to-bytecoin

claims BCN is a Scam, because:
#1. 8O% was premined at the time it was written.  Asked: Aug 7 '16 / edit: Mar 26 2018 at 4:47
#2. Real Developers don´t give real name & address.
#3. WhitePaper .pdf date signature are altered.

According to:
https://bytecoin.org/about/technical-documentation

Quote
One coin is divisible down to 8 decimal places (divisible up to 10^8)
Total coins: 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 atomic units (= 184.46 billion BCN)

According to Coinmarketcap.com one of the most popular websites ...
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bytecoin-bcn/

Circulating Supply Today / Right Now:
183,832,211,782 BCN

Max Supply:
184,470,000,000 BCN

in my Country 1 Billion = 1Million x 1Million = 1,000,000,000,000
184 Billion = 184,000,000,000,000

in USA & UK 1 Billion = 1Thousand x 1Million = 1,000,000,000
184 Billion = 184,000,000,000

that was the first thing i learned in school.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billion
Quote
A billion is a number with two distinct definitions:
short scale definition normal in both British and American English.
Long scale is one thousand times larger than the short scale billion, and equivalent to the short scale trillion.

we are so close "Reaching the limit" of Scam Believers.... 184,467,440,737 "removing the last 8 digits 09,551,616" (-) Current coin supply today 183,832,211,782 = 635 Million coins remaining.
we just have to wait & see...,
if No more coins can be mined, probably was a scam or a design flaw.
if more coins can be mined "pass the Threshold",
Scam Believers will still believe its a scam, that´s who they are, its in their DNA. LOL. Jajajaja

#2. & #3. are obvious, & the Reason why nobody gives the real name on internet. unless its a trusted Online store using a Credit Card,
and that was one of the reasons why PayPal was invented, to make transactions more secure, only giving shipping address to the seller.
and forcing seller to give what promised. But that´s another story.

so, who the f**k is:?

Nobody is called sgp or Ginger Ale in real life. LOL. Jajajajaja
Trashing developers because don´t want to give real names on internet is insane, beyond absurd.

Bitcoin also has millions of lost coins, coins that do not move, in years... people has written algorithms about that.

another kind of inactivity "abandonware coin":
https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinmarketcap-about-40-of-the-coins-ever-added-to-the-site-are-now-inactive

Real Scam Coins only have 1 Year old, yes they are premined, but also use Bots to move the coins to many different Wallets, to artificially inflate the coins value, and USUALLY NEVER Develop a Superior Technology.

CryptoNight Algorithm has Proven to be a Superior Technology...
How can be a Scam?

mining at 100% Load:
GTX 1060 6GB eats:
60w with CryptoNight algorithm.
90w with Equihash.

same settings.

to me another kind of Scam Coins, are those coins that cannot be Mined, and are not backed up by proven reserves, in Dollars, or Gold, Silver, Oil,...
those are true scams.

CryptoNight Algorithm is CPU Friendly = Less Centralized = in favor of Decentralization...

7700K stock speed makes 300H/s,
GTX 1060 6GB Overcloked +200+500 makes: 500H/s. 450H/s stock.

CPU vs. GPU Ratio makes CryptoNight The best hybrid Algorithm so far...
1.5x Ratio Stock.

Equihash makes 90:300 sols. = 3.33x Ratio.

the ideal would be 1:1 Ratio, Price Performance Watt Ratio.
others are much more...
CryptoNight is truly Decentralized = makes No difference where you mine in GPU or CPU, Hardware developers don´t have unfair advantage.

Equihash probably the Second best Hybrid CPU:GPU algorithm.

ETHash has Failed, when Bitmain released an ETHash E3 miner = to 4.5x Watercooled Vega64 with 800w @ $800usd.

Hello folks.  I have a quick question.  I have had wallet 1.1.1 for almost a year and it worked fine.  However, 2-3 days ago, I decided to resynch and can't get any connections.  Any ideas?  I know it was brutal for me, the first time, when I initially got the wallet.  It took me 3 months to synch, 24/7.  lol.  Any advise is appreciated.  Thanks.

the 64-Bit Windows node wallet synced in 24 hours with a 20Mbps internet i have.

the Node wallet EAT´s RAM...or Virtual Ram depends on how you have configured Windows.
for example:
with 16GB of physical RAM, if Run in Administrator Mode or Widows is configured to Not Prefer VirtualRAM over PhysicalRAM, the wallet can use up to 90% of the RAM.
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190730(v=sql.105).aspx
called: "Lock Pages in Memory"

Less Ram used = more time Syncing.
im using a standard 7200rpm 2.5" HDD, with 16MB cache,
SSD could have been faster.
M.2 even faster.

the problem with RAM is that Gaming Boards do Not have ECC correction memory,
if you use more than 32GB of Ram Non-ECC, Non-Buffered, it can give Errors.
try http://www.memtest.org

when errors happen downloading the blockchain, for security the Wallet must re-download the Blockchain again.
today is around 20GB.
Monero is 47GB,
Bitcoin and Ethereum Node Wallets are over >2OOGB.
i think Dogecoin was less than 1OOGB, but cant remember.

if you do Not want to "Lock Pages in Memory", = force Windows to use RealRAM instead of VirtualRAM,
other option to increase Sync speed, is to move the VirtualRAM PageFile to a different drive, hopefully to a faster drive/different controller. "Not to a different partition in the same drive."

some people use AMD RamDisk, but you still has to keep a minimum of VirtualRAM in a Real Hard Drive to work.
http://www.radeonramdisk.com/software_downloads.php

another problem is Wi-Fi,
some USB Wi-Fi adapters are susceptible to timing errors, "if overheats."

use Ethernet CAT6 cable,

another problem is USB cable extensions,
if you have a USB to Ethernet adapter, like Apple "with Bootcamp v6 drivers, or Belkin, etc..."
you must use a Powered Hub at the end of the USB extension cable, or the signal will degrade and wont be fast enough for the Wallet to Sync.
Quote
PC--------->usb.extension.cord------->usb.hub--->Ethernet adapter--->CAT5e or CAT6 cable--->Modem.
                                                                 ^
+5vdc power adapter-------------------------|

Wallet cannot have the CPU, RAM & HDD waiting indefinitely for the Blocks to be processed/stored.

Boards have Interruption timers that interrupt software calls to use the Resources in other purposes,
Original Bitcoin Core Wallet pre-0.9 was very sensitive to those kinds of interruptions downloading the Blockchain...

my advice, copy the wallet.file/folder, store a copy in a secure location, install the latest Node Wallet version from https://bytecoin.org/downloads ,
download again the blockchain.
when finished, open the older wallet file/folder.
should be No problem unless you have a conflicting software or a virus.

if Windows, try https://www.malwarebytes.com

another Method is to export the Private Keys + Wallet Address to a text file, store in a secure location.
when wallet is Synced Create a Wallet from Keys.

Thank you so much for your very informative reply.  I will try to load it again now.  If within 30 minutes, I don't get a connection, then I am going to go with option 1, save the dat file and download the wallet again.  I hope not, since I just got a simple laptop.  lol.  Thanks.

Is there a file in the roaming that would just be like the conf file with the addnodes in the Bytecoin wallet.  Perhaps I just would need the latest release instead of downloading the whole wallet.  I am stuck on block 1323650 with still no connections.  Please advise.  Thanks.

Is there an up to date bootstrap file download link available for the core wallet? I remember I have some bytecoins in my wallet backups but it is impossible to get the wallet synced with the network.

I found this website but it is from December/2017, outdated for me.
