In my opinion, it was another attempt to create panic sell to lower the price to the maximum. As we can see, this failed, which means that the market stabilized and we will see further increases shortly.

But in 2017, as Bitcoin was increase, people were selling at every increase and yet, it still kept skyrocketing, I am not sure the slow movement of price is as a result of traders selling, I think the reason for it because we have seen not seen more big time investors that will put in large sum of money, look at the investors we got early this month.

Yes, The bitfinex and Tether news break out when BTC is having a good price run and suddenly they timed the release of their investigation. Too bad it only has minor effects and it didnt dump further below $5,000 USD,.
