If I was confident in the further growth of Bitcoin, then I would probably decide to borrow money in order to buy Bitcoin. But it is very risky, so before you take any concrete actions, you need to think carefully.

you are not alone, no one has 100% complete confidence, the crypto market is unpredictable, anything can happen, and investing is also work, you have to think about making a choice, take responsibility, it seems to me that you just want easy money

Borrow in cryptocurrency is a not very good idea as for me. Cryptocurrency is a very volatile, crypto market is very unstable and unpredictable. It can happen your debt will increase in several times. It is like trying get money playing casino. Crypto is a risky field itself no need to increase this risk with borrowing.

Borrowing crypto is just like getting into trouble ,you can easily lose that coins you borrowed ,if the coin is yours and you lose it you will be able to sleep well not if you borrowed it
In borrowing borrowing cryptocurrency is not a good thing, because all of that is not real so it will be very difficult to get back what we have lent more and more if the coin market has experienced a decline, obviously that will be a big problem.

Can you imagine borrowing funds in some random shitcoin that maybe fluctuate pricewise down 70%, and then next month up 500%. You will probably be better off with less risk going to your local casino and betting on red.

I personally do not really like borrowing cryptocurrency, because the price is fluctuating,
maybe there really are some stable tokens or coins, but still the price tends to rise quickly and also goes down.
and surely one will be harmed later.

If you will ask me if I will borrow money with the value of Cryptocurrency now. Why should I? If that is for a life and death situation, I think I have no choice.
But if it is not, we need to rethink because it has lower value now and anytime we can experience a bull run. There is no such thing as low volatility because volatility is a tremendous change in price and that will really affect you if that happens.

Taking into consideration the volatility of this space, I must say it isn't a good idea. Although the crypto space is growing and maybe there will come a time when can borrow but as for now, i won't advice anyone to do such.

I am agree, many factors why i am not interesting on borrowing cryptocurrency. Beside on interest rate, the price very fluctuating and its very risky to borrow crypto from others. There is no fix interest rates on this bussiness and i think need regulation if lending bussiness become reality

The idea is good for a less volatile market, right now even everyone is saying that we on a bull market again, I wouldn't take such decision to jump into borrowing.

I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?

Of course. People have been lending and borrowing crypto for a long time. Though the fluctuation in price makes a difference and could be either easier or harder for the borrower to payback if he/she have redeemed the crypto into fiat.
But for crypto traders, the price fluctuations have lesser effect as they work with crypto without converting them into fiat.

In an emergency: Yes, why not... But in general and based on todays market and the volatility, I would not go for a long-term crypto loan. Short term is different and yes, I would do that.

Do not forget though - only borrow when you know you will be able to pay back... Wink

Until cryptocurrencies become the main part of our daily life (the main means of payment), it is very risky and not reasonable to take a cryptocurrency loan. Especially with such unpredictable volatility.

Have you heard of the volatility of the cryptocurrencies? Cryptocurrency is highly volatile, that is, it is not stable. This instability is what makes borrowing in cryptocurrencies a bad idea.
I wouldn't do it, and won't advice anyone to.

yeah, I would borrow crypto currency but only for high price. It is like I make a short position, I owe crypto for high price and pay back for low price. As a result I earn on this deal

What he means is that the best time to borrow Bitcoin was after December 2017 until February 2019 which meant you will be paying with around 80% discount. Now the opposite is true, the worst time to borrow is probably the last two months.

I wonder what problems will be more in this area of legal or economic. After all, it is necessary to form a whole project and a plan for giving loans with a flexible interest system.

This is genius answer  Grin
You can always borrow crypto just for short selling and make profit from them, But how would you deal with the interest? It's okay if you always know where your crypto will move, but if you don't.. you will just make it worse.
