Since we cannot turn back the clock, we just have to try to figure out our BTC accumulation plan from the present, and if we feel that we don't have enough BTC, we have to continue to accumulate it... and sure your calculations might start to change once you start to reaching a status of having enough BTC or you have the fortune of getting to a status of having more than enough BTC.

That's right sir, we have to know when this should be planned and when it will be done. For that I myself consider that btc ownership is still far from my target so that accumulation continues as usual. There is no fear at all because there is no satisfaction in myself so that routine purchases must continue for the next few years.

If you look at BTC from year to year, of course the price changes and that makes planning every year change, meaning that every year scarcity will occur, the holder will win, that's what I often hear, so we want to be winners in the future so we prioritize continuing to buy and hold it.

That's one of the things that makes investor commit mistakes in their journey @focusing on the price always. The effect of steady price watch can cost you errors of bad decision because you would be fluctuating when it comes to staging the right price to buy but if you have a steady flow chart of buying no matter the price then even the big dip that would come after the bull won't scared you infact that would even be a better opportunity to buy more but the fixed thought that covers all the motive is when you are fixated on not selling your coin anytime soon.

There's no problem watching the price , the only when there's problem is when you're checking the price on a regular basis which shows that your emotions are been put to the test,  and one thing you have to know as an long-term investor, is that there's no right time to buy bitcoin, aslong you have the discretionary to invest and the basic knowledge on how to go about it , your literally good to go , investing in Bitcoin is not as complex as are most people paint it to be, is just all about discipline and principles.

Its normal to check the price since there are so many sites give us a glimpsed on what is the current figure of Bitcoin. Because somehow we could still get some update on the price of Bitcoin since we are regularly accumulating. For sure we could see the current value of Bitcoin on exchange. The only problem there if they are unstable and easily get panic when they see a dump. But this emotion only occur with newbies so maybe people need to erase this in their mind and just think about it that they can always take advantage with the dump happening.

For example right now we see the current value at $97k as of this writing instead of getting afraid for situation and dump their Bitcoins they could take advantage on current things happening and accumulate at that price level. There's huge chance that Bitcoin would recover and cross again at $100k+ again. If they won't take any action for sure that they provably regret not to buy when this current figure show up.

Bitcoin investment and applying DCA is really easy, we don't need other complex matters just to make this to happen. Its our patience and guts to start so that we can make everything work out according to our set plans.

well, this might just be what works for an individual and not a general rule that should be followed by every bitcoin investor. it is a good example of looking at a scenario where you try to factor in some sort of possibility of taking out some profit along your investment journey. the Essense of the profit might not be because you actually need it but could just be a way of rewarding your consistency in maintaining a complete year of staying invested in bitcoin.

one thing about using a strategy like this is that if you have been able adapt to sorting out your needs without interfering in your investment, going on to touch 10% of your holding might look unnecessary since it can't really solve more of your needs but can still yield some additional profit if you left it untouched. deciding to take out either 10% or 5% is not an issue, what is the issue is when you just try to touch your holding just because you are in some profit. touching your holding has a tendency of giving you a thought of always coming back to lay your hands on it.

I think that this kind of a strategy, including withdrawing up to 10% of your BTC stash per year should be able to work for anyone, and the main thing that has to be assessed is to have reached a status of overaccummulation by 10% or more before beginning such a seemingly high rate of withdrawal, and if the person had not reached such overaccumulation status, yet if he still wants to begin a sustainable withdrawal approach to his BTC, then perhaps if he is not at a level of comfortable overaccumulation, then he would start out with a lower withdrawal rate to allow his BTC to continue to gain in value and perhaps to increase his withdrawal rate as he becomes more comfortable with his overaccumulation level to be able to then withdraw more aggressively, including as much as 10% per year.

As at this time, bitcoin is about 97.8k. this shows the flexible and almost negligible pattern of Dip experienced by bitcoin lately since hitting 100k. Waiting to buy with DCA is one of the reasons many investors never get to accumulate more bitcoin over time. Surely those people who push the sell button to keep there  money in a more stable coin are not bitcoin investors but rather gamblers who thinks they are smart, or seeing their strategy as being smarter than others but are missing out.  Selling and waiting to buy more when it's dips is not a good one because surely there are times when you sell bitcoin and keep it on a stable coin and expect bitcoin to dip more to accumulate, and bitcoin will increase  drastically leaving your fund in a stable state,  then you will need to buy bitcoin again when it is above the price you sold initialy.  For example a person who sold his bitcoin today  @97k due to panic of not falling below $95k may be waiting for more dip, and unexpectedly bitcoin will recover to $107k or may create a new ATH of $110 then such person will need to buy bitcoin at high price of $110k as a result of his ignorance or trying to be way smater than others. So we should try as much as possible to buy more bitcoin in each dip from our discretionary income instead of selling our holding to buy when it's dip. I know this is not your idea but an assumption if some people,  but just want to use it as a point of contact to pass it as a message to others who may not be familiar to it.

The present market condition is another another opportunity for those of us who understand the market to take advantage of while the rest of the public have been thrown into panic mode with the media adding to their pain. About 10% drop in price from the ATH is a massive opportunity for us to gain if we start buying at the current price and gets back to where it came from, which will eventually happen because I still believe we have not even gotten to the peak of this market cycle.

Both those buy the DIP and those using the DCA method or hybrid method will find this correction interesting to collect more Bitcoin. Those who don't have money to invest will not really regret it later but those who had enough money to invest at one time and those who knew about investing but missed the opportunity to invest at that time definitely didn't invest at one time. You will regret it. We believe the investment journey is very simple. Just buy bitcoins with some amount of money and after some time sell that investment and it will make us profit but investment is not like that. Those who invest in long-term plans actually know how challenging it is to hold on to investments.

You said in your first statement that when the price of Bitcoin comes to a low, some amount of Bitcoin can be bought and held in the DCA investment method. I would like to ask you a question about how we know when the price of Bitcoin may be relatively low. Or when the price of bitcoin is at its lowest, we can buy bitcoins at that level. If the price could be fixed then no one would lose money by investing and everyone would gain a lot of money.  

Bitcoin price has touched $20k to $100k and we have seen many changes in the market due to this price gap.
Now naturally I can say that when the price of bitcoin was 20k dollars we waited for the market to come to 15k dollars and when the market came a little below 20k dollars we still didn't invest. From that stage the market has now touched $100K and now we expect the market to come below $100K.  

Here I want to make one thing clear that you can't just sit back and wait for the market to come down because the market can reach any level at any time. All we can do is invest money consistently with risk so that we don't regret that we missed an investment opportunity.

At the current level of the Bitcoin market, most investors feel that the market will dump a lot from this level, which is why many investors are currently refraining from investing. This is the first time that Bitcoin has ever touched $100K and the market seems to be in this position for a long time. But if anyone has doubts about this price of the market and if it seems that the market will be relatively dumping from here then I would like to tell them that you can wait for some time. No,  I disagree on your statement I made bold  here, buying and selling of Bitcoin has nothing to do with gambling, those sets of people buying and selling of their Bitcoin holdings for minimal gains are trader, though you are actually right on the aspect that they are missing out on the bigger picture, because they way Bitcoin is wired, it's more beneficial to hold longer than to be buying and selling for minimal gains that can't impact their financial status or changes their financial history forever .
So timing the market thinking you can buy low and sell high is a complete waste of time because you will surely miss a whole lot of buying opportunities along the line just you have rightfully said, while missing out on something big that can change your life for ever on the longer run.

It seems you are getting a bit confused here by saying that DCA strategy is one of the reasons many investors never get to accumulate more Bitcoin over time I think this is a wrong statement by you the DCA strategy is a way to increase your Bitcoin stack over time because with the DCA strategy you can accumulate more overtime it can be either weekly or monthly regardless of the price of Bitcoin and hodl according to your level of discretionary income then when an extra income comes to you then you can choose to lump sum in order to increase more of your Bitcoin stack one thing you should know is that the DCA strategy is one of most use bitcoin accumulating strategy then you can lump sum when a huge amount of money comes your way, the only strategy that can delay your Bitcoin investment is when you are always waiting for the dip before accumulating Bitcoin because sometimes you may not even see the dip that's why the DCA is there which you can accumulate even when bitcoin is at dip or not.

Investors (especially the newbies) always are advised against having to wait for a dip before buying, waiting for a dip before deciding to by could be known as attempting to time the market, which is a very wrong approach for an asset/market as volatile as Bitcoin. Bitcoin investment requires a consistent approach rather than a waiting approach. Investors who choose to wait for Dips are most likely to fall into the trap of making the wrong buys, some even go as far as selling a large chunk of their HODLing with hopes of buying the next dip lol, and then the question remains, what if that dip doesn’t come when and how you’re expecting it? Or what if it doesn’t come at all and the market continues to surge and you end up missing out on certain opportunities that you would’ve ordinarily enjoyed if you had continued to hodl.
Investors need to prioritize consistent buying using the DCA strategy over every other strategies, well except for some occasions when the investor feels the need to front load too.

Bitcoin investment requires a consistent approach rather than a waiting approach.

When you buy from the dip, it will make you to concentrate on high price before you can sell to earn profit from the market, which is the reason why newbies are advise to buy from the dip if they want to earn something big from BTC. Don't forget that all figure are not equal in this industry, meaning, we have different categories of Rich people in this forum and they have different amount of money they are using to buy BTC either daily or when the dip is around the market, which you can choose anyone you want to buy your BTC, but the majority of people that buy BTC during the dip season and hodl for long years are higher than those people that are buying BTC daily.

Are you trying to advise newbies or investor to be buying BTC on the time, even though the price is very high in the market? I don't think that is a good advise to newbies or investors because they will not going to survive in that strategy, and those investors that survive in that strategy are those that are financially buoyant and they are ready to continue buying to accumulate BTC.

I attempt to practice what I preach, and sure I have learned over the years, too, and I have made various mistakes along the way.

Yet, many times in these forum threads, when I am talking about what guys need to do, I am frequently assuming that guys are in their early accumulation stages in regards to building their bitcoin portfolio, so I try to address my comments in terms of the most likely audience rather than talking about my own situation, since I had already been in bitcoin for quite a while and accumulating starting back in late 2013.   It seems to me that newbies, and especially guys who are still in the earliest times of building their investment portfolios need to attempt to stay focused on continuing to build their investment portfolio, which takes a long time to build, especially for an overwhelming majority of newbies to investment and newbies to bitcoin.

When I got into bitcoin, I had already spent 20 years investing into other kinds  of investments, so I was in a decently good position to front load my investment into bitcoin rather than strictly building from nothing, yet I still spent a lot of time DCAing into bitcoin for more than a year, which was a front loading way of getting into bitcoin. 

I recall in late 2014, I was thinking that I largely had met my BTC accumulation targets which was reaching somewhere in the ballpark of 10% of my quasi-liquid investment portfolio into bitcoin, yet since the whole of 2015 bitcoin stayed down in prices, I continued to buy bitcoin and I ended up overaccumulating to around 13.5% of my quasi-liquid investment portfolio into bitcoin, so I felt somewhat overinvested, yet I did not take any drastic measures, and when the BTC price went up from around $250 per coin in mid 2015 to around $19,666 per coin in late 2017, my BTC holdings had gotten to around 85% of my quasi-liquid investment portfolio, and when bitcoin crashed into the $3ks in late 2018 and even in March 2020, my bitcoin holdings had gotten down to as low as 45% of my quasi-liquid investment portfolio... and so there can be ways to deal with these kinds over overaccumulation matters, and my strategies mostly emphasize holding, even though I really have not considered myself to be in my accumulation phase since early 2017 or so..

Sure there can be some hesitancies to invest in bitcoin when there are hostilities, and so Trump does seem to be continuing to vocalize both pro bitcoin kinds of policies, which likely will signify less hostility towards bitcoin in the coming years., yet we still need to see how Trump's rhetoric might materialize into on the ground changes that might contribute towards more individual adoption of bitcoin versus right now there does seem to be institutional and governmental adoption, which may well be different kinds of policies, since many bitcoiners are likely also going to be concerned about self-custody kinds of abilities that will allow them to transact and there also seems to be concerns about how some developers had been targeted under the previous administration too.. so there could be concerns about whether those kinds of hostilities will significantly lighten up under Trump.

Trump has tended to get into a lot of drama, and so it is difficult to know if he is going to be better (and perhaps less dramatic) in his second term, which is difficult to imagine, yet even if he is dramatic, there still be some ways in which he and the people surrounding him might be able to accomplish taking some meaningful proactive and/or positive actions in relation to bitcoin matters.

I don't know how low the price will correct today, but I don't think it will go lower than $95k. Recovery is expected as soon as this panic subsides and today's close is expected to be over $99k. In the last 24 hours, the price has fallen by 4.5%, this is not always considered a bad thing by those who can take advantage of the opportunity.

The price of Bitcoin is at 97k and there is nothing to worry about this small correction. Bitcoin is fully bullish and it won't stop it's upword trend in near future.

Those who already have accumulated bitcoins can wait for market to settle. There is no need to panic if you are out of cash since bitcoin gives lots of opportunities to buy. If you haven't bought any bitcoin then entering bitcoin at current price will be a bit risky.

Only weak people got scared about the dumps happening on Bitcoin.

For sure this current situation happening filtered those true people who believe the strength of Bitcoin. Weak hands or those people got scared about the current situation are losers. Many people talk about best time to buy at the DIP now they could execute their orders now.

But if they became more skeptical seeing those Dips then I guess that there's nothing gonna happen for them and being skeptical dude in this space will not bring any profits on their hands. But I really don't care about current happening since my main focus now is to accumulate and save more balance for future.

With the holidays being here I don’t think people have a lot of dry powder to throw at the market right now. A shame because I don’t think we’ve seen the high yet for this cycle. It does seem like a possibility that this could be the last chance you will get to buy Bitcoin below $100,000 for possibly several years.

In the current context, we can call Bitcoin bearish or dip time. The $95k price gives me more opportunities to make more profit or profit from Bitcoin compared to the bullish price that Bitcoin has been bullish for a few days. Time to Buy Dips.

No matter where the direction will go as long as we do not sell we will not lose the bitcoins we have, a HODL will not feel excessive anxiety, only patience is needed and now is the time to buy.

I don't know how a futures trader feels, maybe he is panicking and nervous about the current market situation.
An investor is still safe to stay HODL.
