[ @whiteblue, would you sell your house to buy Bitcoin? It's only possible if you have another house for accommodation but whereby you hsave just one house, can you? There are things you should say in a space like this cause it's misleading, that's why it's never good for newbies to get information about Bitcoin investment from social media platforms asides spaces like this.
One of the investment rules to success is only invest with your discretionary income and you must first take care of your basic needs. Why will anyone sell his house that is part of his basic needs to invest into bitcoin. If it's your only house, you are not investing the right way because it's clear that you don't have a discretionary income. If you sell your house, you will extend your financial stress because you have to rent a house that must be part of your basic needs. Properties that increases in value overtime shouldn't be sold to invest into bitcoin because it doesn't make any sense to me instead, properties that depreciates in value overtime and is a big liability can be sold to invest into bitcoin. The idea of selling one's own living space to buy bitcoin makes no sense however way I look at it, starting to pay rent because you wanted to buy bitcoin isn't being smart, it's instead being desperate and desperation will never help a bitcoin investor, it simply just not how bitcoin works. On the other hand if a person already settled in their own home was somehow left a house be a relative who probably just recently passed they can decide to either sell or rent it out, anything they get from there qualifies as discretionary income and can be used to buy bitcoin, using everything to buy bitcoin might not be smart also since not everyone can handle being that aggressive, some people only find out after they've made the mistake already. There's a big difference between investing with conviction and investing out of desperation. Selling an extra property is one thing because it's a choice with less impact on your day to day life. Selling the home you one live just to buy Bitcoin feels like putting your self in a difficult position unnecessarily. Financial stability should come first Bitcoin is an investment , not a reason to sacrifice your basic security.

I don't think so, because the more aggressively an investor buys Bitcoin, the more they dedicate Bitcoin investment as their sole investment for their future or retirement.
If you look on social media, you'll see people selling their houses and land to buy Bitcoin. They're fully focused on holding Bitcoin, so they won't make a mistake, as holding for the long term is the best option in Bitcoin investment.
People fail because they worry, so don't worry about the fake news circulating on social media.
That one asset, high risk, is only method to investment success over long haul of time brings psychological strain of over borrowed positioning to at least minimum. At the other extreme, however, move to sell stocks or core holdings to get as much crypto out as possible is clear indicator of unchanging faith, and this could be sign that the individual traders and investors may lose their nerve at times of extended declines far too early. I do not believe it has to do with the length of time that you hold onto it, I think it has to do with spending more than you can realistically afford. One thing that should never beat investor is the sense of absolute certainty, and cause him to forget that sometimes it is better to be safe than sorry, in investing, sometimes too much is too much and can lead to terrible consequences from normal market corrections to chance of his financial survival. The consequences of investing are certainly not a problem that prevents us from holding long-term. Do you understand what I'm saying? If investors have made up their minds to invest in Bitcoin, then they are ready to accept all the consequences of investing. The important thing is, of course, not to worry and not to make the wrong decision.

You’re spreading misinformation here based on assumption, not facts! You say investors that are fully focus on holding Bitcoin "won't make mistake". If that's true, then why experienced investors still tell folks to have emergency fund aside and avoid investing money they may need soon? Be real pls. Using social media example still does not justify selling your house and land to buy BTC is wise or should be copied. Social media often highlight extreme cases, not sound investing Also saying "people fail because they worry" is not realistic. Investors don't fail because they worry…. they often fail because they take unnecessary risks, overcommit financially or lack proper investment plan Disciplined long term strategy can only work well when it is backed up by good risk management. I'm not spreading lies here, You understand what I'm saying. I'm saying they won't make mistakes because they're holding Bitcoin for the long term. Is that wrong? @whiteblue, would you sell your house to buy Bitcoin? It's only possible if you have another house for accommodation but whereby you hsve just one house, can you? There are things you should say in a space like this cause it's misleading, that's why it's never good for newbies to get information about Bitcoin investment from social media platforms asides spaces like this.
Imagine a newbie coming across your statement then go ahead to sell their house to be aggressive cause they think doing that is right, Bitcoin investment should be done according to what you're financially capable of having as discretionary income and if your discretionary income isn't enough to be aggressive, you stick with what you have instead of selling valuables for Bitcoin.
I'm making the analogy that many people out there are selling other assets to buy Bitcoin. Some are even selling their homes, and that's true because CZ invested in Bitcoin with the capital from selling his house. So, I'm not saying that if we invest in Bitcoin, we have to sell our house first.

The importance of aggressiveness in Bitcoin investment should not be overlooked, of course that is the fact but we should not make a big deal out of it, I support aggressiveness from time to time but no investor should ever make it look like a competition especially if one does not have what it takes to be aggressive. Selling of properties to buy Bitcoin is a personal decision but those doing that should also understand that Bitcoin hodling is for a long term and whatever plans they have should be aligned with that concept, Bitcoin is a store of wealth and value, however, no one should do more than he can to invest in Bitcoin reason being that such decision might lead to the investors pulling out quick, as Bitcoin investors we should not risk more than our discreationary income. I agree with you, And I'm saying that investing in Bitcoin is for the long term, and aggressive buying can be done gradually and depends on our discretionary income.

If you sell your house or land with the belief that Bitcoin will go up a lot in the future, then I don't think it is a good plan. Rather, it can often be a cause of your mental stress. Bitcoin has given us freedom, so we can invest in it with our discretionary income. Why do you need to sell land or house? You should not forget that holding is one thing and holding it by weakening your life security is another. Bitcoin may be considered a strong asset in the long run, but in the short run you will have to face lower prices. So when you decide to invest in Bitcoin by selling land, land or family security assets, you will be stressed if the price goes down a little. Then even though you talk about holding for the long term, you may be forced to sell. I know that's not the right decision, but I'm using it as an example, investors who have dedicated their investment as their primary focus are ready to invest in Bitcoin forever.

What you’re proclaiming here is actually wrong and it’s not a practice that should be encouraged, it’s a very bad example of aggressiveness but you’re painting it as a good practice. People selling their properties in order to buy bitcoin is being overly aggressive and this is not good at all, being focused on bitcoin as sole investment doesn’t mean you should abandon sound financial planning or neglect every other aspect of life and your investments, selling essential assets. We often emphasise that people should invest with and within their discretionary income and even going aggressive shouldn’t be beyond discretionary. Yes, we can buy Bitcoin according to our discretionary income. We must strive to achieve our investment targets. Aggressive moves can be adjusted year by year according to our planned investment duration.

Before buying Bitcoin, everyone should at least understand the basics. In particular, how to deal with market volatility, the importance of self-custody to keep your coins safe, and why you should not invest money that you risk losing. Without this minimum foundation, people panic and make bad decisions when the market drops slightly.
So, the best strategy is to start investing small amounts of your disposable income according to your ability and continue the learning process at the same time. You don't need to know any rocket science to get started, but it is important to have 'enough' knowledge to make the right decisions during market ups and downs and to be confident in your investments.
You don't need to know much or have enough knowledge as you are proclaiming before starting your Bitcoin accumulation bro, because that may delay your Bitcoin accumulation, since everyone have a different speed in learning things. So as long as you can figure out your discretionary income and with your common sense, you can start right away, It's along the line of your accumulation that you start learning on it, and start making provisions for emergency and reserve funds so that you they can protect your bitcoin investment from any real life emergencies that may have warranted you to sell your investment prematurely. You are right. It is almost impossible to complete the knowledge about Bitcoin. It will take many years to gain enough knowledge. Spending so much time chasing knowledge and not investing will waste time and opportunity. And investing in Bitcoin does not require much knowledge. Just general knowledge and being able to figure out whether your discretionary income is being generated is enough. Once you start investing and keep building a backup fund, you will gain both experience and knowledge over time. And I think it is most convenient to plan your investment in this way.

To be more aggressive is what is making some of the investor giving up in the investment, just because they took a very wrong decision which they shouldn't have that thought at all. The past mistakes can still be corrected because there are some of people who have that opportunity at the past and honestly they are not with that kind of Bitcoin again so starting to clean up all the mistakes in the past will allow you to have bigger opportunity ahead. Bitcoin investment is actually between 4 to 10 years when it comes to every investor, because anything below four years I consider them as trader, times why I don't bother to even discuss a long time investment with some of these people that are eager to accumulate Bitcoin with the advantage of dip are all traders.
I don't think so, because the more aggressively an investor buys Bitcoin, the more they dedicate Bitcoin investment as their sole investment for their future or retirement. Some tenants will even owe you and still vandalize your property ontop, so what makes you think that renting a house you have to collect peanuts at the end of the year is better than long bitcoin investment huh? If it eventually comes down to selling your house to ongoingly invest in bitcoin or you leaving that house for me rent it, then the best thing to do is to sell that house, because whether you like it or not, bitcoin is good investment and it is a better investment than renting your house just to collect peanuts from tenants at the end. Common sense already should let person know that it is dumb to sell the house they are living in to buy bitcoin. But when person has more than one house, it is not bad thing to sell one of them and invest in bitcoin

This is a practice that I will not encourage no matter what because their is no guarantee that Bitcoin will skyrocket in the future, even though it has a high potential in doing so, because we are meant to invest with what we can afford to lose, so by selling your house to invest in Bitcoin is wrong, because I can bet that such person cannot afford to lose the proceeds from the sold house, instead, such person should try to figure out his discretionary income to invest with, not by selling his home to take such risk that will keep him in constant panicking anytime the price of Bitcoin is down, so it's a practice all Bitcoin investors should avoid, unless it's a house you can afford to lose.

Yes, by having income that can be spent, someone can invest, besides that there is no need to understand about bitcoin completely because this will take a long time and make investments delayed by the fact that we can do it right then, after all, with our investment, we certainly understand a little bit about bitcoin and for further learning can be obtained as the investment is carried out.
I agree with you, starting immediately when you have disposable income is the right step instead of looking for the right time to buy. We can start with a small amount according to our financial capabilities or our own cash flow.
In my opinion, it is just as foolish to invest blindly without any idea, as it is wrong to postpone starting investing in the hope of knowing everything in one day. The most realistic approach is to maintain a balance. No one recommends investing blindly, especially without any knowledge whatsoever. To have a basic knowledge is reasonable and it is enough, so it is not necessary to know the whole thing about bitcoin because this can take a long time and this can delay the investment that can be made at that time as I have said before. Moreover, even if you are going to start there may be a sense of doubt or worry that this actually does not have to exist, because with our intention to invest means we have taken steps to be better at risk itself. So where we already have income that can be learned that's where we can start investing.

The vast majority of people have common sense, are able to learn, and can calculate whether they have extra money on hand, then they will be able to start investing in Bitcoin and understand what they need to learn. They will also be able to decide the amount of their initial investment in Bitcoin according to their comfort, whether it is $10 or any other amount.

Bitcoin investment is necessary when you have the means but forcing yourself into this investment is actually a trap because it took almost a decade of holding your Bitcoin and during that. During that you will be homeless and there's no guarantee that Bitcoin will Skyrocket in the future, I don't see any chances of winning in this gambling because it's too risky and everyone have to move away from it.

Bro, a person has two houses and wants to sell one house and buy Bitcoin. Brother, how realistic do you think this is? Put yourself in that person's situation and ask yourself this question. What decision would you make at this time? If I were to talk about myself, if I had two houses and I didn't need the other house now, would I still decide to sell the entire house and buy Bitcoin with such a large amount? Even if my financial situation is very good, if the price of Bitcoin decreases a lot after buying Bitcoin with the money I sold the house, then I myself will not be able to remain mentally normal. A person may not need a house now, but he may need it for his children in the future. Because as time goes by, he will grow older, his children will grow up and have a family, but at that time there is a need for a separate house or apartment for them. So it is not right to take such a risky decision very easily. It is more logical to invest with discretionary income on a regular basis and there will be less stress than selling your alt house and investing in Bitcoin.

Houses are being sold every day, and the money is being channeled into another investment. If people can invest in other investments, I see no reason why Bitcoin should be exempted, as it is even considered a good store of value. If there is a reason why someone is selling their house, because people who sell their houses have reasons for that, the main reason is not just to invest in Bitcoin. Whatever the reasons for selling, Bitcoin is a good store of value to invest the money in, especially when one is not ready to use the money in the short term but wants to invest in a long-term investment. People who sell their houses have reasons for that, and they can choose Bitcoin as a good investment to pursue.

But when person has more than one house, it is not bad thing to sell one of them and invest in bitcoin I would never advise anybody to sell there house and use the money to invest in bitcoin even if they have two houses. People should only invest in bitcoin based on there financial capacity and not to over strain themselves by putting themselves into unnecessary pressure. So , it is good if they invest an amount that won't mount pressure on and this is by investing with there discretionary income. It is very risky for someone to sell his or her house and use the money to put in bitcoin, this to me is not investing but rather gambling because the intention behind this is to make quick profit.

I agree with your statement. There is no need to be an expert before starting to invest in Bitcoin, but it is important for beginners to know some basic things - such as what Bitcoin is, why it is valuable, how to store it safely, and why long-term patience is important. Once someone starts investing, they will continue to gain both experience and knowledge over time, it is better to start early than not. For example: if someone wants to learn the science of every ocean current before learning to swim, they may never get into the water. Similarly, learning and investing can go hand in hand. However, investing in Bitcoin must be the money left over after meeting basic needs, i.e. discretionary income. When someone invests in Bitcoin through the DCA method with discretionary income, the risk of being forced to sell even if the market price falls is greatly reduced. In my opinion, the most reasonable path for a new Bitcoin investor is to continue learning, do regular DCA, and be aware of their own risks.

If you have two houses just as you said, I think I will encourage that but if you don't have more than one house and only because of the love you have for bitcoin, sell your own house where you are currently living, honestly I will say that you are a gambler because with this scenario it simply means that you are not ready to invest in Bitcoin at all rather than to be trader.
Why rushing into conclusion without getting it very clear, at least go through the the post I reply then you can be able to say all what you are saying, the two houses are not in the same location one is in his hometown and the other is located at is working place and he has retired and don't want to stay in that community again so the best thing he did is to sell it I use money to establish business for his wife, which I said if that is the case assuming he knows more about Bitcoin he can also sell that house to invest in Bitcoin, since he did not sell the house for any purposes, just that he don't have any plan to stay there again and for someone to sell a asset, with this kind of decision honestly the best thing for that particular person is to replace that asset with another one. You are making a mistake yourself. If the house is far away, it may not be completely unused. If the house is currently being rented, that can also be included in his cash flow. Again, even if it has been unused for a long time, he may have plans to go there again in the future. Still, everyone can make their own decision in this regard. If someone feels that they really do not need the house anymore, they can sell it, it can be their own decision. But there is no obligation to sell the house and put it all in bitcoin. Rather, it is probably more realistic to first fix their own emergency fund, family needs, cash reserves and regular cash flow. Then they can put a part of that sale into bitcoin if they want or add some part gradually and regularly. Many times people's thinking can be wrong. It is not the main thing whether they have two houses or one. Rather, many times people who have 3-4 houses cannot remain mentally stable after selling one house. When the price of Bitcoin drops by 40-50 percent after putting the entire house sale money into Bitcoin, will they be able to remain calm? Won't they be forced to sell due to family and emergency needs? If the answer is no, then the decision is already becoming more difficult.

Trading can be profitable depending on your knowledge and experience.
Don't get it twisted, trading still produces losses regardless of how experienced and knowledgeable an individual is.. We can all take advantage of a major market downturn to our advantage. However, before taking this opportunity, we need to make it clear that we are not just thinking about investing just because the price is falling, but at the same time we need to make sure that we are buying extra with money other than our emergency fund or any other fund. It is not logical to just wait for the price to fall or to over-monitor the market to take advantage of the price fall.
Long-term investment is a more rational strategy than focusing too much on short-term buying and selling expectations. If a long-term investor over-monitors the market, then at some point he may develop a trading mentality, especially in the case of new investors. So I do not think it is more important to buy during the downturn at the beginning. I think it is more realistic for new investors to have a long-term view and invest safely within their financial limits.
The problem with taking advantage of market downturn is that it could very well lead folks into waiting just because they hope to get bitcoin at a more cheaper price . And that waiting ideology can slow down your accumulation pace and yeah it can slowly drive folks away from their regular DCA purchases..The best approach is to as using ones discretionary income, without having to base their purchases on the presence of dips...

Yes even though it's rented out and he decided to leave the community, he have choices either to sell it or leave it, but this particular person decided to sell it and to me he make a very good decision.

How does someone sell a living house to buy bitcoin? So does that make them homeless? Do they intend to remain homeless until bitcoin makes them profits? So many questions just keeps piling up in my head and I came to one conclusion. The reasons why anyone would do this is basically out of ignorance and lack of information. Bitcoin is a good investment asset but not one that is bounded by controlled factors but rather the volatility of demand and supply. Is it not unreasonable to consider selling a living house for a short term profit on bitcoin? How possible would it be to recover profits within the time being of paying for rent and other necessities?

How do you sell your house to invest in bitcoin, does it mean that you have other businesses that you’re into or you have something that is giving you money, or you have other shelters where you can keep managing your life while you have sold your property all in the name of making investments, well that might not be your discretionary income, because from what I have learnt here you’re meant to invest in bitcoin with your discretionary income.
I know about a man who had 2 houses, ranted one out and stayed in the other in different states in my country, he was staying in the house outside of his state because that's where he was working and his family was with him,the house in his hometown was rented out, during an insurgent crisis he had to jump works and returned to his own state snd to the house in his hometown leaving the other house behind, he bought that house because he was working over there but now that he wasn't working there anymore he decided to sell , he didn't invest in bitcoin of course, he probably didn't even know about bitcoin but he did open up beverages store for his wife, it won't be completely wrong to say that money was discretionary and some of it could have been used for bitcoin investment, he didn't sell it because of the investment though, he sold out of necessity. Also investing in bitcoin suppose to be an asset to every investors not a liability because if he no longer have a house to live then he his now forcing his responsibility on his bitcoin investment which is not good at all for an investor thereby leaving his bitcoin investment at the risk of collapsing because every financial challenge he has, he tempers his investment for survival and before you know it you will be forced to sell your investment leaving you a low or coiner because it will be very difficult for you to start from the scratch all over. Even if you have two houses you it's also another form of investment since you can rent it out and invest your proceeds on bitcoin for the future it has serve as another source of income to increase your purchase pattern or if the dip is present, you can adopt the dip and the lump sum strategy in other to increase your portfolio aggressively now.
