I think the wise thing to do most of the times before investing into ICO of any project is to research well on such a project before committing one's fund into it. It is quite unfortunate that many investors found themselves to be at a loosing end after investing in a particular project and later found out that such project is a scam. Although, I do not normally invest into project ICO but always participate in the bounty campaign aspect of ICO projects .However, I usually research well on the project before I enrol for the bounty campaigns so as not to waste my precious time on it. It is always good to look before one leaps in order to avoid pitfalls. There is no point rushing to invest in a project that one is not sure of its future sustainability.

Most investors now wait to invest in IEO than ICO.
Although, one of the issues I have found recently is that, most of the big projects conducting IEOs, end up selling to whales who who would in turn manipulate the market and sell high, until an eventual dump in price.

Of course, you can't put your money into a project you don't know about it. I have to find out about the project before joining ICOS because it determines the success or failure of the project.

Right, you are throwing your money to those worthless projects if you don't know what they are.
ICO that aims to scam investors are still there so you should be a keen researcher.

It is obvious that ICOs have lost their fame. Regardless of the ranking of any ICO, I do not think that a wise man will go for ICO due to the bad mark it has made in the crypto history. IEO should rather be targeted in the crypto market. This is important to note that IEO promises security and least risk by making the crypto project pass through some vetted tests and assessments so unlike ICOs, IEO are better to go with.

You have to do better researches on any ICO before investing ,ICO investment is no more safe like in the past, scammers are using ICO to lure victims and steal there money IEO seem to be the only , I you came across  any good ICO make sure you investigate very well

i just follow hype if i want to buy some ICO or IEO because i dont like being holder anymore.
what I do now is hit n run I will prefer to invest in bitcoin and also top 10 coins in other cmc compared to investing longterm on ico.

I also am doing some research before investing or participating in ICO projects by reading their white papers, websites and especially the team members if they can be trusted because there are a lot of scam and bad projects nowadays, that makes a lot of investors and bounty hunters have quit in participating in ICOs because they waste a lot of time, money and effort in those project and they did not receive any of their rewards. Anyways, I am not only doing some research in ICOs, I also do it in gambling sites because there are some crypto casinos that are not safe and secured to play. Good thing that my friends also helps me to find good ICO projects that i could participate and invest my money with, and crypto casino that are safe and secure that i can conveniently play. Lastly, also avoid having huge expectations in ICO projects nowadays for you not to waste a lot of money and effort while participating.

The reason for the scams is the opportunity and fear of missing out. When the bullrun happens, people only see quick profit and don't have time to research or think. More so when ICO's set a deadline or time that something that is good is going to expire soon. If you don't do it now, you miss the chance. This leaves you vulnerable and succeptable for scams.


So don't fall for this trick, and do your research before giving your money to someone, even if it means missing the opportunity. There is always another opportunity waiting around the corner.

What if I'm not an experienced investor and I want to invest? I have to spend my time reasearching and learning about the ICO's anyway.

We can not say that IEOs are very successful. They have already begun to show their true faces. IMO the less obvious difference in time will be lost and they will almost be in the same condition. Without improving the overall market situation, we will not see significant improvement in new projects.

That's I do every I investing ICO I looking for every single information of the project the purposes and the unique of the new project. But even I do mistake I did do mistake because I invested the ICO sometimes is scam which is normal because doing research is only to prevent fail and scam project not 100 percent accurate that is effective.
