Bittrex was big too, but here is a thing, cryptocurrency market is moving, there are a lot of new trends and ideas, but polo dont support them, i mean IEOs, new listings. Marketing is most importaint thing for exchange, it would be difficult to counter Binance, Huobi, etc.

There's a void now, Bittrex has demolished their reputation through very poor management/filtering of their exchange hosted IEOs. Both Coinbase and Bittrex have done quite a bit of damage to themselves this year, it's Circle's opportunity and chance to take advantage of the situation and rise again.
I've been trading on Polo since the first week it was launched with NXT and had a minor correspondence with Tristan at one point while Coins Source was a thing. Always been a big supporter, but recently that support has faded.
Poloniex has become active again, after several months (or years) of inactivity. Poloniex was a thing under Tristan's management, but now it's all in the hands of the Circle team (whom i really never had great sympathies for). From what i've seen recently, they've made a big push to connect with their core audience and begin innovating/attempting to lead the way with creating the best experience for traders. I like what you guys are trying to do here and have nothing but support for your endeavors atm.
Also, big thumbs up from me for supporting Grin and listing Cosmos before most other bigger exchanges.

Also, big thumbs up from me for supporting Grin and listing Cosmos before most other bigger exchanges.
Poloniex has even moved further with Cosmos by allowing staking with Cosmos. Additionally, I like the approach of Poloniex to focus on their internal upgrades (security, for instance) rather than running follow common things of Chinese exchanges. Not only Bittrex, Binance has its own troubles by leaks of their customers' APIs several times. Even they paid compensations for their users, it is actually reputation damage for Binance.
Today, I updated OP with links to Poloniex and Circle Twitter channels. Poloniex's Twitter: https://twitter.com/PoloniexPoloniex's Blog: https://medium.com/circle-traderCircle's Twitter: https://twitter.com/ResearchCircleCircle's Medium: https://research.circle.com

It is last few hours till the delists of mentioned coins in above posts (that I took from Poloniex site), so someone whom have those delisted coin on Poloniex on 17th May, please remove coins out of Poloniex before the delisting time. To avoid losses, to avoid complaints. There are significant things done for Stellar on Poloniex, that probably related to recent rises of Stellar. There is the latest news on Stellar inflation rewards on Poloniex: https://medium.com/circle-trader/announcing-stellar-inflation-rewards-for-eligible-poloniex-customers-a6c181fd1a93. After ATOM, Stellar is the second one will bring passive income for Poloniex users, and another good movements to make Poloniex great again!

Poloniex could try to rise again after it's on the behind of bittrex and binance. Poloniex can be a competitor for bittrex and binance, but poloniex needs to solve their problem first so they can get a stable exchange. But now, I see that poloniex has already fixed many problems in their site and I hope that they can maintain this so they will get more traders to come back to them.

Long time ago, I don't see lags on Poloniex since the terrible period of crypto Spring in early of 2017. Then, they enhance their security for customers, and now we have see their initiatives to bring passive income for their users, with the first two are Cosmos and Stellar. Maybe more things to come as options for earning passive income on Poloniex. Especially within the last three months, I have seen so many changes on the Poloniex, that has brought lots of hope for Poloniexers to see they become great again, back to top exchanges.

I also look forward to that. Also because Poloniex is truly the best exchange that has ever existed before the existence of binance

Update:Geofencing assets for US customers On Wednesday, May 29th, at 16:00 UTC, the markets for ARDR, BCN, DCR, GAME, GAS, LSK, NXT, OMNI, and REP will be disabled for Poloniex customers in the US. All assets remain available for trading to customers outside the US. Once geofenced, you will be able to withdraw these assets from your wallet for as long as we support the asset globally. You will not, however, be able to see your deposit address or generate a new deposit address.
We are committed to complying with regulatory requirements in every jurisdiction. Today’s action is a result of regulatory uncertainty in the US market. Specifically, it is not possible to be certain whether US regulators will consider these assets to be securities. We understand how frustrating this choice is, and will continue to focus time and energy on supporting positive policy and regulatory developments for crypto assets in the US and around the world. Today’s action is a result of regulatory uncertainty in the US market. Specifically, it is not possible to be certain whether US regulators will consider these assets to be securities. [2] 3/ We understand how frustrating this choice is for our customers and for the crypto community. We believe in the power and potential of these assets, and will continue to focus time and energy on supporting positive policy and regulatory developments for crypto assets. [3] 4/ Recent guidance from US regulators on what crypto assets would be deemed securities has led to these actions. We don’t agree that they should be considered securities but need to ensure we are in compliance with US law. [4] 5/ Our view is that digital assets represent a fundamental new class of financial instrument that defies simple classification as security, commodity or currency. Many digital assets occupy one, two, or all three depending on their context and use. [5] 6/ We need policies that encourage development and use and the creativity of technologists and builders all around the world. We will continue to push for rules specific to digital assets globally. [6] 7/ For many crypto assets, classification as a security under US law would effectively destroy its utility. We need to come up with ways to enable the utility while addressing fundamental investor protection risks like fraud and theft and custody. The industry has solutions. [7] 8/ Crypto and digital asset innovation will continue, but without a new regulatory environment, people and businesses in the US may not be able to participate in these transformative technologies. We will continue to advocate for changes to US law and regulations. The regulation of the US is very strict, this is a bad news for the users, maybe it's time for them to consider transferring to other countries which are crypto friendly. I believe Binance is now operating in Malta, maybe following the action would result them an increase of customers and maybe they will be great again. I really believe that people wants an exchange where they can choose whether they will submit for KYC or not, and Binance offered that kind.

I agreed with you. It happened for many exchanges, years ago, Chinese exchanges moved to other nations due to regulations in China. Maybe, we might soon see movements of Poloniex and other US-based exchanges. Even on US-based decentralized exchanges, like Crypto Bridge, users have to do KYCs, that is a big surprise, if we simply talk about core purposes of decentralized exchanges. However, I have a feeling that it is just temporary choice, sooner or later, regulations will become stricter, globally not only in the US. However, moves to other nations, and become great again is not too bad option for current period. In addition, strict things don't make thing worst, instead make things better, in long run; therefore, I believe in the US. and Poloniex.

I like the fact that Poloniex offers margin trading and the ability to borrow fund to start margin trading. So I can be a lender or borrower and not a lot of exchanges allow for that.

The US government probably will not support pennies without major censorship and it can be seen that Poloniex will be a very difficult exchange to use in the near future. I think Bittrex is similar because this exchange is very tightly controlled so that many investors face many difficulties. In my opinion, I should choose popular exchanges in crypto and the two exchanges I like the most are Huobi, Okex because it has a much higher transaction volume than other exchanges.

Next, what will happen with latest upwards of Trade-War between the China and the US.? China, has grown fastly to become the second largest economy of the world. However, the fact is Chinese economy is very vulnerable and the TradeWar somehow demonstrated that vulnerability of Chinese economy. For many decades, the US. has been the largest economy, with strict rules, and effective managements, from which they built their strong economy, and solid as well as reliable companies. Nothing can grow stably with vulnerable foundations, and that is the point will change crypto exchange industry in next one or two years. I don't say I like the way they managed and controlled crypto, and crypto exchanges in their nations, but who knows that their management approach will lead to a model globally in the coming years. Additionally, what we have seen with strict rules of bitcointalk.org forum is good for all. I like it.

Update:1) Within recent months, there are some initiatives made by Poloniex team as efforts to build up more powerful exchange for crypto traders. Including: Adding more margin trading pairs (16 pairs so far); less 10x latency that gives better performance; better customer supports that solves nearly 99.9% of support tickets; and some significant improvements on Poloniex Mobile UI. 2) Yesterday, Poloniex also made the third donation to Grin General Fund. There is a guide on how to do margin trading on Poloniex, and this guide helps to avoid losing money from margin tradings due to lack of understandings on how margin tradings work on Poloniex. There is a video that is contentful and helpful for Poloniex's newcomers. By the way, if you are newcomers, you should watch the videos carefully and repeatedly to really understand rules and basics of Poloniex margin tradings. Especially liquidation mechanism, leverage, and more things. Stellar inflation rewards on Poloniex users. There are official Tweet of Poloniex and a Simple guide on Stellar Inflation Rewards. All of details presented in the two links below. Brief summary, Stellar holders on Poloniex can get passive income distributed by Stellar on weekly basis through their weekly votes. With one Lumen, they have one vote for a single destination address. Only destination address that receives at least 0.05% of total weekly votes can received proportional weekly inflation rewards. This in turn result in Vote Pools. However, we actually have not known the start day of vote and Stellar Inflation Rewards on Poloniex. Stay tuned for next news of the exchange and Stellar. https://twitter.com/Poloniex/status/1131971043671912448https://medium.com/circle-trader/a-simple-guide-to-stellar-inflation-rewards-7ed27f8d0b4c

This is to tell you that in crypto world things move faster than expected, just some years back poloniex was one touch away from every trader but as things go on in the crypto space many new exchange start to dash in with lot of offer which I think is more benefit than what poloniex and likes of others offer .
Poloniex will always be among the best but I dont think it can beat the strategy on ground with new sets of exchange coming up and introducing .
