Poloniex will become great again!

Poloniex is no doubt trusted exchange and have some good features like margin trading but i thing that is not good in my point of view that is no withdraw without KYC, there should be some limit of non verified members to withdraw but poloniex has very strict and kyc is must for withdrawing fund.

well, poloniex used to be a very popular exchanger. however, as time went on, that changed. well, I've never traded there. however, if its popularity returns, I think there will be very many people returning to trade there. especially if poloniex can compete with binance.

Poloniex was one of my favorite exchanges way back but it lost its shine. I remember when glitches started sprouting and crypto enthusiasts started complaining. I really hope it becomes great again, nice piece.

Strict or not, it depends on your perspective, I don't argue with you at this point. However, you should remember that KYC is not required by Poloniex. It originally comes from US government laws on crypto exchanges. The fact is Poloniex is a US-based crypto exchange, so it has to obey US laws on crypto. That is the same with Bittrex, which is another US-based crypto exchange. Believe me, over time, not only US, but also other nations globally will have laws that ask for KYCs on all crypto exchanges.

Quite unfortunate this exchange refused to develop, it happened to be my first crypto exchange, I feel sad the owners refused to be in tune with competition, till now there is no known trading app for this, few info about new listing, IEO's and a lot more about recent crypto developments are far from the exchange. Had withdrawn from the exchange as soon as Binance became prominent

Good thing that Poloniex has been backed by Godman Sachs which makes Poloniex more potent again. Taking note that traders really want more exchanges to roam around the cryptocurrency industry. With Binance's growing popularity, Poloniex need to step up to catch on.

There will be a comeback for poloniex? I've known the exchange when I'm quite new to crypto but its glory days were gone but I think they will reclaim it and they will have a better comeback through Goldman Sach's.

I am hoping for their success also, it's very risky for us traders that only Binance will dominate the market, we need more bigger exchange so when worst situation comes, we have an option where to trade and this could also create a healthy competition in the market.

There's lots of exchanges now with great volume as Binance, but I'm not using it as I'm not comfortable with them, I just love Poloniex as it was one of the earliest in the crypto space and I have been using it in the early stage.

The exchange failed to grow and never adopted the dynamics of the technology market, they still depended on their traditional exchange, Binance has already given them a run and lot of other older exchange, it is their choice to wake up. Poloniex was my first too but I do no longer remember them

I think everyone has already forgotten them. after poloniex was bought out by a large campaign associated with US banks, many users simply left this exchange and took their money from it

It is hard for poloniex to raise its glory, but it's always possible to get it back. But poloniex has a lot of things to do to get more member like before. I think right now, poloniex trying to list IEO project in their site like what binance and bittrex did so they can refresh the lists with potential coins and they can also attract more traders to come back to their site.

It is exactly that we don't need to see Binance dominates the crypto market, from exchange tradings to margin tradings, from centralized to decentralized exchanges. I am very familiar with Poloniex, but as your raised above there are more reputable old exchange, not only Poloniex, such as Bittrex. However, between Poloniex and Bittrex, I would prefer to trade on Bittrex, mainly because Poloniex gives margin tradings. The exchange's simple design of Poloniex is another component I like.

I have seen these news and there are still many people who still use Poloniex. I think they should launchpad settings like Binance to attract more traders and investors.
As you can see, Binance constantly offers successful projects and helps many investors to be profitable. After that, they trusted and loved Binance more and always bought many BNB coins in the past.

Yes, i was a fan of Poloniex back in those days but unfortunately something happened along the line that distant me from be part of the exchange. It was after that event that i switched to a better exchange which is now known as the most famous exchange in the world(Binance Exchange). Poloniex would have been among the best if not their KYC.

Perhaps this is the factor why poloniex not like years ago. Years ago, poloniex is big exchangers but now people looking and trust on binance as biggest exchangers. But i think Poloniex could be big exchangers again because poloniex have a good history

Poloniex was the biggest exchange a few years back and the reason for them to piss off their user base is simply because as more coins are being listed and the user base started growing they could not handle everything and the amount of pending issues was growing on a daily basis, some people missing their coins after depositing them and the time it takes to withdraw the coins were really high and you will not hear from their customer care for weeks and those things pushed the users to other exchanges and during that time binance was launched and they took over the number one position in a short period of time.
I had issues with them in the past and it took three weeks to get the coins and i never visited them since, there are a lot of exchanges in the market and if some exchange is giving a better service than the rest, sure they can be number one again.

Poloniex was an awesome exchange, but as soon as Binance has entered the market space, I nearly forgot about Poloniex. Hope they are going to increase their user base, integrate some more new features and at the end are going to be on top again.

I think that Poloniex was one of the early crypto exchanges, but it already lost the race with Binance and Coinbase. It will be very hard to catch up, unless some new breakthrough technology is implemented by the Poloniex team.

I believe that Polonex now has every chance to compete with major exchanges since in recent years the project has really added to the development and upgraded its trading system and soon we will see an influx of new users.

I had issues with them in the past and it took three weeks to get the coins and i never visited them since, there are a lot of exchanges in the market and if some exchange is giving a better service than the rest, sure they can be number one again.

I experienced that period, but I only experienced delay of deposits or withdrawals. Coins missed on Poloniex, I have never exprienced such things. I agreed that during that period, Supports on Poloniex was terrible, then Bittrex took over Poloniex, and after months later Binance surpassed both Bittrex, and Poloniex. For delayed deposits, or withdrawals, that partially came from terrible issues of Bitcoin and Ethereum networks during that period. Most of exchanges had to consolidate their customers withdrawals into each batch to reduce transaction fees. Of course, there were other issuess with other coins, not only BTC and ETH.
By now, everything (or most of major things) solved, and Poloniex has smooth trading operations, as well as fast customer supports. KYCs verifications passed by their team so fastly.
