no, that is not the problem with IEO, ICO,... and it is not the reason why they are considered bad or even fraudulent.

the problem is that regardless of what 3 words they choose to describe themselves, in the end they are raising funds to produce a token that has no reason to exist otherwise because it has no usages. then those funds goes in their pocket and they don't  do anything else apart from releasing that token!
and that is the main reason why all of them always go down in price and eventually die after a while.

Applicable to those scam ICO's.  But in a legit project, I beg to disagree,  The raised fund is to support the laid out project proposal written on their whitepaper,  the token is simply some decorative memento that can be used as utility or security and be traded in an exchange for the speculative  investors.


Many thinks that IEO is somehow shady because the system force the buyer to buy at a higher price when the token is placed on sale and they failed to bag some tokens.  But it is the investors or buyers choice as if the exchange forced them to buy their IEO.  Others think that some exchanges favors whales and the deal was done even before the sale begins. 

If you can compete with bots, I guess you can participate in this kind of event.

You are so lucky to get your chance investing with IEO's, not that lucky yet t be able to participate with this such event, what is important is the exchange who cater the initial offering how credible they are and how the market reacts, if the coins was been dissolved right away chances to get quick profits is there, you need to decide quickly and be happy for any amount of profits that you will going to have.

that would be censorship and i dont think people would want that even bitcoin still gets manipulated and also i dont think the exchange would want their profits going down, more volume equals more profit for the exchange.

You can have the bot, I guess you might have time in your time. --> Oh no. I think you are right. But the IEO was originally born for the purpose of calling for capital. But perhaps many investors want to speculate and earn fast profits.

They defied everything to benefit themselves and forget the feelings of others. But if the exchanges want to be fairer for investors, they can set a limit on the amount of tokens. I am sure that the exchanges themselves also want to make a big profit so they allow whales to buy in large quantities

IEO is the same as ICO was.All coins what will be distributed during IEO will be premined
So i am not investing until i will see something what is really worth to invest
Currently so many value coins are on very low level
Much better idea is to keep bitcoin or buy some ETH etc than invest in problematic IEO
Exchanges are getting some IEO coins like a fee for listening.So be aware that exchange will dump those coins

IEO is initial exchange offering. so the developer of some coin will sell their coin in some exchange. i think it's not a SCAM, because i think IEO is a good idea, with IEO we can buy coin from exchange platform and the future for this coin will be better because they have already done a partner with the exchange.

Did you tried on any IEO launchpad purchases. I have tried for 3 projects so far on binance but all times I did not make it. When I try to access the buy button at the time of token sale starts it passed the error continuously.
When we facing this situation, how we can buy the tokens at the right time. Please ask them to work on the server and give this suggestion to the buyers.

The terms for the ICO are technically the same as in IEO! Only large crypto exchanges, such as Binance, are helping to surpass the potential. As a result, the investment decision is entirely yours. I think ICO or IEO doesn't matter. I don't invest in the project I don't trust!

Isn't it IEO is touted to be better than ICO? If there is cheating then it doesn't makes any difference between the two. There could also be manipulation from behind from whales. So you want it to have like a purchase limit for investors? I agree that this should be concerned about but in some ICOs this is applied as well so I think it would not take a long time before they apply this regulation to be fair with everyone. But I do know that IEO is already abused even it's just started to make a hype a few months so investors should be still be cautious at all times.

--> That's right to make it more fair. And the IEO will be more sustainable. Currently many projects only develop the initial stage then decline and die.

There are good and bad IEOs just like how there are good and bad ICOs.  I prefer to stick to the top 10 coins on coimarketcap though.  I've become very hesitant of investing in new projects because of my losses over the past few years.

IEOs are better choice instead of ICO now a days, although IEOs are not guarantee of profit on investment but atleast these are not scams. In ICOs many projects run away taking money of investors before hitting any exchage that is the worst part of ICO. IEOs are launched after proper verification by exchanges thats why there are least chances of their scam. Let us give a chance for IEO to prove itself in this industry. In this kind of offering we can make an assurance that the coin will be listed and once you acquire it you dont need to worry about when it will listed or whatever that makes you doubtful. IEO concept is new one and those who are investing in IEO at big exchanges are getting enormous profit. I think IEO investment is safe provided the exchange is reputable also.

From my point of view, IEO is much better than ICO as it has at least 2 big advantages:
- projects are being verified by exchanges before IEO starts
- you know from the beginning the name of the exchange the project will be listed.

Yes, I agree that these are two advantages of IEO over ICO projects. This slightly reduces the risk of investors losing money. However, the same risk of fraud remains the same, since the exchanges cannot conduct a comprehensive review of the submitted projects and their teams. In all other respects, IEO projects are the same ICO projects and no one is immune from the fact that after the fundraising, the IEO teams will not leave their projects without further implementation and their tokens will not become useless.
