It's good to seek guidance when stuck and I do it too. Now talking about coins to invest, it's always good to look at the project and how truly the team is trying to keep the project relevant always. With that being said in my own opinion, ETH is always my first choice followed by BNB, XLM, TRX and ADA.

The best coins for investing long term are BNB, XRP, ETH and I also like the mentioned coins. There will be opportunities like new projects and there will be scam ICOs too. No need to rush, we will live in all stages of crypto development.

I have been holding coins for a long time and if you ask for 5 altcoins that are good for us to last until next year in my opinion ETH, XRP, EOS, BNB and BCH. Every coin grows and we don't know it in the future, so you have to research it yourself and continue to develop the altcoin right now.

Cosmos, Polkadot, Ethereum, Monero,ProximaX.I think that these coins have a chance to show a good profit in the 2020th year. Some of them are new to the market but they have already been developed for several years.

Potential or use case within any platform matters as well as the team. So thinking about Coins to invest BNB is a good call as the project is showing serious growth. ETH is also good in addition to EOS, TRX and ICON

There are many and most of them are top 10 token and coins on coinmarketcap like ethereum, bitcoin cash, litecoin and binance coin(BNB). BNB is kinda hot right now because their recent update makes the price increase so high. 1 more coins maybe dogecoin, for long term investment.

We can see that the BNB provides better policies so that it provides good service, Doge also seems to be more crowded, the community seems eager to maintain. Eth still has a potential development, LTC is also good for long-term investment and doesn't forget if the bitcoin remains a safe coin.

I would recommend to pick up your 5 alternative coins to invest for 2020 on the top 10 in coin marketcap they are very promising altoins and have a high volume in crypto market and it easy for us to gain huge profit in the future.

I already have enough bitcoin but I want to expend my asset holdings into Altcoin. Now I'm a newbie and have no experience but that doesn't mean i will jump right into buying your suggested coins. I will do more research but I need guidance on the coins to look into that's why I started this thread. I'm interested in privacy, gambling and currency coins

I don't say any specific coin because market is too much volatile. I suggest you to keep eyes into top 10 present coins in Coin market cap because they are very much trusted at present time so that they are in top 10. From 10 you can short selection of 5 for next year. best of luck. |

A wise decision, I can only add that they can change over time and need to be able to change them based on the market situation. Coins that are not in the top 20 CMC I would not recommend as a tool for long-term investments. |

In the privacy section, I suggest you pay attention to GRIN and Beam projects, new crypto protocol Mimble-Wimble looks interesting. Instead of gambling, I would prefer more blockchain platforms like EOS, Cosmos, ETH in long term. |

I've read a post here on Bitcointalk wherein he just spend his money on a coin which is turtle coin, I wonder if we do the same thing now, could we make the same profit as he is? Providing the 5 alternative coins to invest, we should look at the CMC further to observe other altcoins as well. |

As a newbie it is better for you to focus more on learning the fundamental principles of the market and gaining more knowledge, because most people will jus mention their coins holdings for you whether it is good or not and if you don't have the required knowledge to do a proper research then you will just FOMO into it and may lose your money.
Focus on the knowledge first.

Always consider ETH on your number one list to invest in 2020. XRP, ENJ and BNB I have been enjoying this altcoins and my profits are really nice. You will gain so much profits from them by buying in a dump price and if you can read some technical analysis, it will be very helpful on your trades. You have your clear basis if you'll gonna use one.
