Development update: Test pool has been up for 24 Hours, all official pool owners will receive a complete guide on how to setup their pools to prevent launch day problems. Please register on at least 3 of the official pools using different passwords for your account's protection. That way you can have a failover in case of any problems at one of the pools.
We will update the announcement with proper miners to download for CAI mining today.
IPO Stage 2 is now closed. Will update stats on IPO Stage 2 when all offers have been confirmed.
IPO Stage 3 is now open.

How come almost no one is complaining about them selling an IPO for absolutely nothing new or unique? Why would anyone pay for features that you can get in any other coin?

Because most of the investors know who we are and what we stand for, we are a group of pool owners plus developers who will not disappear with a loot and leave a community dealing with the aftermath. We have not said we will be better than any coin, we will add improvements as they become available and tested, but I can assure you also, the CAI team will perform as the best teams and developers behind any good coin. We are not hiding, and we will discuss any concerns that come up on the short and long term. We are not advertising our IPO, but whatever BTC we collect on the IPO will be advertising us. CAI is here to stay, because as pool owners we know firsthand how abandoning a coin is bad for our hard work and other people's hard work. I can show you a list of pools we worked on hard, to build and promote, to be killed by a greedy developer who takes his coin no further than the first exchange. We are not asking anyone to bid on the IPO if they do not believe in us or at least know us. And we will not fail anyone's trust. We are running test pool, and it's running great. We are making some adjustments to initial difficulty tomorw. We will have all the info needed for pool owners to have a smooth launch day. We will also talk tomorrow on IRC pool operators room. |

We are launching email campaigns to miners today to make them aware of CAI, our marketing will depend less on bitcointalk forum and more on other resources, there is strict policies here when it comes to marketing and I do not blame them, just way too much spam. Launch is on time, with no expected delays. Testnet went great, we are doing minor adjustments to initial difficulty before KGW kicks in. Pools will have instructions today as how to setup pools exactly, although all the pool owners are all quite capable, we decided to get everyone on the same page to prevent any launch day glitches. Stats for second stage IPO will be updated shortly. As for exchanges, we will contact exchanges with excellent reputation, and proven business record, after launch. |
