I can't speak for others but that's not really true for me... Og's been at this for years (frivolous trust ratings I mean) while he was still invincible in the old DT1. Lauda's "scandal" was a good excuse for him to pretend like he wasn't using the trust system for personal squabbles.

I know enough from the past yes, that's why I trusted OG's judgment more of less since I had a trust list. What I'm seeing is the same pattern of behavior. Someone who got kicked from DT before, made a come back, then started promoting a trust cult when gaining sufficient inclusions, while refusing to acknowledge any concerns over it. Ring any bells? Although in fairness Lauda's cult started over a year ago, and was only recently bumped this year after sufficiently stabilizing trust. This to my knowledge, is OG's first attempt, but I realise someone could correct me here.

I had doubts that the same problem was occurring as with Lauda, as my assumption was only based on comparisons, statistics and a bit of deja vu, but then OG confirmed it for me with retaliatory negative feedback, same as Lauda's oopsy. Therefore, I'll happily make this comparison, regardless of the past history of his actions, as we are currently living in the present. If he wants to join the exclusive club of discredited DT members who negged me after I confront them on their bullshit, that's his choice, and as someone who missed having a discredited -1, I respect his foolish decision to do so.

Thanks but yes I know what I'm doing, I left constructively critical neutral feedback to warn others (especially newbies or lazy people) not to blindly follow an anti-vod cult, not cos I like the guy (I deeply distrust him ironically), but because the trust system shouldn't be exploited for this by well-trusted members who have the ability to do so - and I'm not the only person to see this. If it wasn't obvious from my previous posts, I was trying to help him save his own reputation here, as were many other people.

By my count, seven most recent neg ratings sent by OgNasty (including multiple ratings for Vod) are bullshit/retaliatory/personal squabbles.

I have no doubt OgNasty has done many good things, just like Lauda and Vod. I'd say all of them are at 99% good. Unfortunately, it's the 1% that makes them keep fighting, and the drama shows up in far too many topics.
I'd really like to see them all get along, accept the differences, find common ground, ignore eachother and/or move on. None of this is worth all the drama! Add some "Switzerland" to your posting habits, care less about what others say, and above all: you don't have to agree with everything you read on the internet! It's okay, really!

This is still WAY off topic. I would report them, but the moderators leave about 95% of my off topic reports unhanded. Everyone needs to clear the fuck out of this thread and make their own if they feel it necessary, unless your discussion is about "Vod is a liar". Regardless of what you think about OGNasty, you are denying him and others a venue to discuss Vod's actions by continuously derailing this thread, which I might point out is Vod's preferred strategy to deal with criticism, that is of course other than leaving negative ratings.

It was the exact same situation only it involved a different user.  You took issue with one, and not the other.  Granted it is off topic for this thread, but not yours.  It does display the incredible bias of moderation here, and your inconsistency, but again I digress...

The facts remain the facts.  Vod is a liar.  People here are scared of transparency, and what is unacceptable for one user is defended for another.  I don't know who this dragonvslinux guy is.  I only know what I've read about him.  That he chose to support a scam project with the sole purpose of taking money from people (why didn't he offer to insure against loss like I did when I thought a project was questionable?), the same way Lauda did with his escrow he mishandled along with Blazed & minerjones, or atriz did with Lauda's blessing.  I do not agree with LoyceV using me to state that there are any similarities between my contributions here and Vod/Lauda's, but opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.  Luckily, there are facts that I have learned to backup using screenshots, and everything I do, INCLUDING MY TRUST LIST is transparent.  There are those that wish to hide the truth (see my recent spat with digicoinuser and anonymousminer, or those who opposed my trust list being posted), and there are those who do everything right out in the open.  Moderators can delete my posts, users can abuse the trust network and make up lies about me.  None of that changes the truth though, which is that I have never done anything but do what I felt was best for Bitcoin in a transparent and honest fashion.

I don't respect those who continuously take this thread off topic in order to hide the MANY examples I've given of Vod's lies, which is why I am documenting them with feedback.  I can ask a million times for this thread to stay on topic, but there are more bad people out there looking to profit from this community like Vod, who seek power and will spend far more time than I will trying to earn merit and rank up their alts to corner the trust network.  This is a major flaw in the system that I hoped would not be taken advantage of due to sheer numbers of new users, but given that those who cared about Bitcoin and actually create projects for the community instead of promoting their next scam have largely left this forum due to horrible moderation and bad judgement, I no longer have this hope.  This forum is about free speech until you become a critic of the hypocrisy involved, and then it becomes about who wants it more.  Well, I can tell you that I care about Bitcoin, that is why I acted in the best interests of this forum by going above and beyond to perform my fiduciary duties, not because I wanted to be seen as some great forum user.  This forum used to be the center of Bitcoin.  I believe satoshi's head would be spinning in it's cryotube if he were alive to see what it has degraded into.  Just another forum, where it is survival of the most nefarious and anything goes as long as you know the right ass to kiss.  Actions are rarely taken out of anything but selfishness, and those who donated to charity or give to community projects are told they do so only to flaunt their wealth.
