I don't think there is much difference between ICO and IEOs . They both are fundraising mechanism. In ico the team do all the stuff. And in ieo they raise the fund by an exchange. Now the main think is not the mechanism of fundraising , project and it's usefulness is the main thing. And if the project is good then it's always profitable but if the project is not that much powerful then what ever it is an ieo or ICO it's not gonna give profit. There is some good points in ico which is make ieo profitable. In ICOs the trust factors are less. So there are a lot of scammers who scammed people. I think is just much more faster if you ask me I mean look at all the good ones that happened within just hours they are mostly sold out I think people are considering the exchange confirm listing and the hassle free work they mostly do to obtain tokens directly to their wallets

IEOs are only profitable when you get in at the right time, if not you might end up in loss unless you are a good holder. In my own opinion IEOs are only better than ICOs because there is less risk of scams and investors buys tokens with confidence and at ease.

It depends if the project is successful and have a real application in the real world or even in internet both the investor of token sale and who purchased in IEO will benefits from it, however those tokensale investors would gain the maximum profit.

In case the project fails the investors of token sale may sell their coins immediately since it's already have an assurance of selling it even if the price falls unlike other ICO's that after the token sale they just disappear or leaving without notice (Scam) I'm not sure about this but this is just according to my perspective to IEO since I didn't participated on this kind of investment yet and I don't know exactly the advantages and disadvantages of this.

No, each of them always having the positive and negative points, we just can judge it by how the project's running, sometimes ICO also worthed to be invest even after the first IEO we know always giving fast profit.

IEOs  are still the same projects as they were in ICOs it is just filtered and supervised by the exchanges.
 There is no guaranteed  profit in IEOs, we should be just safer that we would not be scammed.
