Safer and less likely to be scammed is possible, but Bittrex's first IEO was discovered to be a fraud and cancelled on the day of the launch itself, so there you go,,, even with a platform verifying them and assessing their capacities fraud still leaks through. It was only thanks to a community member that this was discovered.

Probably profitable for the team who own the project because they can raise a good amount to develop the project, and they can also see a decent volume if they are using a decent exchange. The chance for a coin to improve and be valuable is with the new platform which is the IEO.
All of the coins in ICO and IEO is just a start up coin, so they need time to prove if they are worth investing for, let's leave that up to investors then.

The trend of IEO investment is decreasing because many coins cannot earn profits and in fact, many coins like DREP, IX, BKC, MATIC don't have good prices when listed and are in the price is lower than the IEO. I think it's time for us to say goodbye to these IEO projects soon because the market is still falling, making investor sentiment worse. I personally believe that only Bitcoin can change all because when Bitcoin increases, the good psychology will make investment easier.

Most of the ICO failed to be accepted by the market because there were many negative issues that made the drop price, the presence of the IEO certainly a good solution to make investors optimistic about the future of crypto.

First, IEO is more secure than ICO because the one who handles the fundraising is from the exchange itself. Big Exchange means more secure and more hype on the IEO.
Second, the Exchanger can get more new investor through the IEO because they need to register on its exchange first before you can start invest.
Third, The time listing between the IEO start date and listing date is not so far. So, the price of coins that used for payment (such as BNB, HT or etc.) still stable and not change too much, this will make the IEO coins have a great potential to gain a good value.

i seriously feel that IEOs are more better and more profitable than ICOs as their is a whole lot of scrutiny by exchangers before you go on their platforms announcing your project and fund raising. the exchangers by this means builds more of the investors confidence and that gives an edge over the ICO fund raising system.

It seems to me that investing in an IEO is safer than participating in an ICO. Since projects for participation in an IEO are audited on exchanges and must comply with a number of requirements.

The IEO is not always profitable and ICO is not always harmful. Because what determines is how we choose the right project. Many ICO projects are also profitable and that depends on the decisions we make, when making decisions and when to choose the right momentum. So back analysis properly because this analysis will determine whether we will succeed in investing or not.

for now, it is indeed quite attractive for investors because it does provide a big advantage for them, especially if large exchanges such as binaries that carry out the IEO can certainly benefit.

There is no guarantee anywhere, just that it appears IEO's have more success rates than ICO, coupled with the fact that it is almost tradeable as soon as IEO is over unlike what is obtainable in ICO. But this is likely going to still be exploited by scammers and other ICO vices sooner if no serious checks are done and certain controls applied

IEO trend lasts for months and many projects I know changed their ICO plan to IEO. And obviously, IEO performed quite well. Like Huobi, Binance. While I am not so optimistic that it will live longer then ICO, Gate.io IEO is a disaster. And people start to lose faith in that. There will be nothing that will be living permanently. Same like ICO, the most important is do your own research, find out good projects and invest, that is the most important. Here is my list of projects that have the best future as of today (Including Alts):

Stellar
Historia.network
BLOC
DGB

I am not so sure research can work with IEO platforms, looking at the speed at which IEO projects gets sold out, many people would have been on the queue and just focus on getting their slot filled, and if you take time to research while the project has been launched, the time used in researching is when someone is already filling up the available slots.

If these platform can only be notifying people ahead of the project launch, then it will give people time to research on such project before they further queuing up for participation, but I doubt if some exchanges will give chance since they want people to rely on their decision.
