I don't think there is a huge difference between IEO and ICO. But now, IEO is more preferred by investors. That's because i think investors don't have too much confidence in ICOs anymore. Because recently, many ICOs have failed or turned into the scam. This situation led to the more preferable of IEOs organized by good exchanges.

I think not, because projects have to pay for placement on the stock exchange, however, IEO is much less risky than ICO, which allows you to attract investors' funds without fear of fraud.

A lot of risks can be avoided, but the loss of assets when participating in the IEO is inevitable because many large projects are currently very low prices. I think the IEO is just a temporary solution to attract investors and this trend will soon end later this year. If you want to join the IEO, choose safe exchanges because currently many new exchanges IEO making scammers appear more and more.

It must be admitted that investors prefer the IEO because there are too many ICOs that are scam, I hope that the exchange is very selective in choosing projects that will be used as IEO because this concerns their future and crypto.

Yes, just a little bit difference between ICO and IEO. Investors lost believe from ICO because of massive project SCAM in 2018, Than now IEO is giving back confident newly i think. That's why after IEO trending a lot of project huge success.

As you know IEO trend is growing but i feel IEO is profitable only for those who invested in token sale but who have purchased altcoin after launched they suffer loss majority of the investors ,as the BTT and some other altcoin examples of IEO.

I cannot say that IEO is much more profitable than ICO, all I can say is that both have a characteristics to give profit, also they are both
opportunity to everyone here in the forum. IEO will only be good if the exchange are also good, especially if the exchange is belong to top 10 platform in the at the coinmarketcap.

I just commented on a thread on IEO. Thread or topics like this are increasing as people are looking for answers as it looks like IEO is replacing ICO. For projects that their token price doubled  overnight after Thier IEO,. They will believe they've hit jackpot same with all other successful IEO.

My issue with this is it becomes saturated as small and big exchanges now do it with projects that have zero useability and product.

The way I see it is, people find it more trusting and comfortable investing in IEOs than ICOs. Reason being that, IEOs are carried out on exchanges with a presence and bigger subscriber base. This brings more confidence on the part of the investors than they normally would, giving their monies to a group of people hiding behind a computer. I would not trust one or the other.  The best thing to do is invest in altcoins and get ready-made profits.  I am very repelled by scammers who simply flooded ICO and IEO.

in my opinion, not all because I remember binance once held an IEO about bread tokens, but the tokens did not experience a significant increase, in some launchpad, there were also those who experienced the same thing even the price was stuck at the initial IEO price and the rest dropped

Whenever it comes to profit I think it will depend on the project. Since how far the project gets too in terms marketing and development  determines how people will go in all out for it which brings the profit. IEO and ICO are just the names but what it entails brings the returns.

It seems to me that both ICO and IEO are good.  Indeed profit does not depend on it.  Profit depends on the project in which you invest.  What is the product of the project itself.

I personally invested in IEO , but ICO case is quite complicated,  some projects ends up not trading, or listed for shitty price when that got listed. I still prefer IEO to ICO

I don't think there is any much difference between IEO and ICO. To me the only profit within IEO is the less chance of the team running away with investors money. But after IEO that's when the true nature of the project or the team will surface, that is, if they are capable of delivering or not; this is also same with ICOs.

There are quite a lot of IEOs popping up these days, big profits are yet to come.

As ICOs it is becoming very difficult for projects to collect money.  It is obvious to us that IEOs are more successful than ICOs. Also, IEOs are good way to keep away scammers from the crypto.

Its still a sweet deal if you manage to participate in the IEO that is held on one of the top 3 exchanges, but it is always necessary to do your due dilligence about the pre-sale price, were there any pools for it (those could represent a selling pressure as well), what is the latest sentiment regarding the project etc.

I wished I could see more IEOs that would give profit, just like we had during BTT token sale on Binance, but as it is there is none like that again and there is a graual decline.
Well, it s expected and that was why I did not invest in FTT.

Why did you think like that ? The token sale buyers are the early supporters of the projects.
The project might listing IEO in some big exchanges by using the money from early investors,
so the investors have contributing before the start of IEO as well.

You have to study the IEO, if it's profitable to invest on it for short term, then you should find ways to be able to invest in IEO.
However, if based on average it's not, maybe your best chance is just to wait until its like trading and enjoy buying it on a cheaper price, it would give better value to you especially if you are holding for long term.

IEO will be the future of crowd funding and soon more and more coins will be created through IEO, that would also increase the demand in major coins which will result to an overall good improvement of the market.
