Lol, this is so true. I urge everyone to really put the majority of your investments on bitcoin to avoid getting REKT in the future. Well, you can still invest on some altcoin but at least the your portfolio should be like more than half on bitcoin, just saying.
i also agree with it .. its not bad to hold some altcoin
but it much better to hold only a small percentage and the rest to bitcoin
altcoin this day have much higher risk

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yes, for investment portfolio must be well and good. If you invest limited you can hope to back limited. So you should trade with vast number of portfolio and also have to be technical in trading. You also have to own research with investment otherwise you will go back and nobody can give you ladder.
Best of luck.

It is true that lot of newbies are running behind new cryptos as they have no idea on what and where to make the investment some even think that it will have alike value just like the Bitcoin all i have to say to them is that you can relay only on bitcoins rather than running behind the new cryptos as it might take ages for its value to come as you all know that Rome was not build in a day like wise it will take time for the market value to go high. Some investors even end up on losses as they are not aware of the market trend as we already know that this is an unregulated market and the price will never remain the same and it has been a big loss for the once who invested when the value hit 20K but it doesn't mean the value will never hit that rate again but they will have to patiently wait up for them to reap the profit. As of me i would wait like a bear for the price to go down so that i can invest when its on the lowest value and that is what i have done .Its always better to study the market first before making any kind of investment.

altcoins today are still the same as what they are before  , the only difference is the price .  altcoins are infact less riskier than bitcoin because alts are more cheaper and more stable  . just make sure that you chose those alts that are on the top list because they are more legit than the unrated ones   .

it isnt bad to prioritize altcoins , infact alot of trader and investor are foccusing thier portfolio mainly on alts .

bitcoin at the top of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, ideally prioritize investing in bitcoin is compared to other coins. this has been said by many who say investing in alt is just wasting time giving no significant profit impact. many say ETH is the next bitcoin but in fact until now ETH has always been far behind. if you want to invest on alt don't expect to much.

absolutely right, here there are a lot of people who say if there will be a Bitcoin next but in fact Bitcoin still continues to peak and there hasn't been any coins approaching it.
because altcoin will always be under Bitcoin.

There is only one bitcoin. If you want to invest in cryptocurrencies you would be smart to look at the utility and applications of the coin you are involved with.

Ahh I think it should not be dependent on investing in other people indexes. Unfortunately, I'm forced to say that you must be expert for investment. If you want you can target Bitcoin more for investment. But to make all the information dependent, you must learn a lot.

most of them aren't really at fault. they are just poor newcomers who entered a big market and were suddenly bombarded by a huge wave of advertisement which were promising them riches beyond their wildest dreams so they ended up buying a ton of useless tokens which have been continuously losing value

That's right, therefore the newcomers must learn about crypto to those who are experienced. Most of them are reluctant to learn, they are only tempted by the lure of "get rich quickly" but it is only a dream without experience. Especially after yesterday's 2018, a lot of ushered in useless shitcoin.

Many people got victim of scam ico in 2018, due to which people have got scam and lost trust in ICO. We should remember that we should not invest too much on new coins and our portfolio should be 80% of Bitcoin /  top 20 cmc altcoins.

Right, some people feel that is an advantage if it can chase bitcoins, such as forks, etc. And maybe this is very danger, when you have to sell her then you will suffer a big loss.

Well, I still do prefer bitcoin than a sh*tcoin, It's the ignorance that killing the people , that is how life goes tho there are a lot of people who would love to take risks not even thinking where would that take them and mostly it's the poor people (hopping that their luck will come but more likely ended up swimming on  mud)

Yet still this can be a common sense if you do not want to chase the "next" bitcoin then better yet stay away from the other "next" sh*tcoins as well.

You said it the word even lots of my good crypto currency friends told me to bag half of my holding with bitcoin were i didnt do in last bearish market . I had hope in some of major alt coins like Ehtereum , NEO , XEM, EOS, ADA . But now i realise that i could have convert some of that into bitcoin would be safer.

I think that the fantasy of people looking for a class of underdog cryptocurrency who made them rich is no more than that a "fantasy" and like you said the best way to avoid get rekt is investing in BTC.
You are right about the fantasy part. Its what every broke newbie trader wants to get in their trial of trading. They dont want to be a professional in trading but just try their hand. So they seek out some guru and they tell the wannabe some cheap shitcoins to buy when the so called advisor dumps their load of shitcoins on the market or even better does an OTC deal with this poor guy.

They tell them that the coin will be huge in future, exactly what that person was willing to hear and so they fall for this trap very easily.

There is a lot of propaganda going on against Bitcoin, dished out by the altcoin lovers. The most vocal argument is that at $8,000 per coin, Bitcoin is too expensive compared to the other currencies such as Litecoin ($90 per coin) and Ethereum ($250 per coin). But these propagandists try to hide the fact that Bitcoin is infinitely divisible, and anyone who want to invest in Bitcoin has the option of purchasing small amounts, such as 0.01 BTC or even 0.001 BTC. Also, rather than saying that the exchange rate is $8,000 per coin, we can say that the price is $0.00008 per Satoshi.

They can judge anything about the next bitcoin, there is no other coin that can be the next bitcoin because Bitcoin is Bitcoin Grin, and make sure that after you invest in coins, make sure it's tried and trusted like Bitcoin.  Smiley

Reality wise, those alts supporters will do their best in order to get some share from bitcoin popularity and do things that they can to make sure that
the alts community will not be forgotten while the rally for bitcoin is already moving forward, chasing the price will continue to be the tough decision to
make while investing, you need to make a good stand in case your investment is not moving favorable for you.

snip-
But we have nay-sayers like in any successful project. People are there to call it bad when and where they can using whatever logic they can think of even if that logic is flawed one. Alt coiners are the one group of people who tend to call bitcoin bad but again forget who their forerunners are and whom they are piggybacking on.

Then we have no-coiners who have been fed with the capitalistic mode of economy. All these things are a part of life and we have to live with the same. Better not to waste time on them but focus on your own trading skills and how to increase your stock.

Stop promoting bitcoin named altcoins please. The original bitcoin is the OG.

Actually I agree that there is no cryptocurrency that is better than bitcoin, I think investing in tokens for the long term is risky, but not why for short-term investments. I always convert all my tokens to btc so I'm always safe. Smiley

As a matter of fact it's not wrong to invest in alternate cryptocurrencies infact there are many who actually proved to be worth to invest it .

I personally don't invest in any other leaving Bitcoins.

Infact it's a personal choice therefore , it depends on the user because Bitcoin is meant for long term holding in my view , also alternative cryptocurrencies provides an excellent choice for exchanging when the price is high , they make excellent trade pairs.

They have some uses too , let's not forget about it.
