I have watched the fight late than expected and repeatedly watch it promptly because in my amazement I think we all see a different Conor McGregor in the ring a new and improved McGregor has been displayed, Cowboy Cerrone just don't know what to do at first because Conor wants a faster takedown by aggressively attacking Cowboy, and in Cerrone's shock McGregor had hit him with shoulder strike on the nose and an elbow and in Cowboys shock, I guess that is why he had made a mistake by going in McGregors left and that is how he meets the powerful left high kick of McGregor, I think that training camp he did pay off, and in seeing this new Conor McGregor I think we may see him conquer towards this year.

Cerrone didn't have the time to recover for he as already stormed by the the punches. This is what separates Cerrone from other fighters because he normally stops throwing punch when he sees the other fights don't fight back anymore.  Anyhow, Mcgregor won. I lost few but it would have been a big win for me if Cerrone won.

The former Champ is back but all of the opponents who is holding the championship belt are really tough and it is not an easy journey to the title. He can make money by picking fighters like Nate Diaz next and then he can face an old Frankie Edgar and make a shit ton of money with those fights but i do not think that he will be able to defeat the champions in any division as the competition is really high. That said, his fight against Donald Cerrone was picture perfect and won in record time and it was an impressive victory.

Khabib VS Conor is a fight who should happen again. But it will not be the next Conor's fight because Conor just got back to the business and Dana don't want him loosing fast because we all know Conor means a huge income for the business.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has a lot of fans world wide, if you go to the Middle East and Russia he is a super start and just image the population they have and say that he is not revered by the fans, he might not be having the same fan base in US but globally he is a much bigger super start and for some country to built a stadium for Khabib Nurmagomedov to fight, even Conor never had that kind of opportunity and the reported payout the UFC gave for Khabib Nurmagomedov for his last fight is $6 million, if you take the numbers alone Conor makes the biggest pay day and then comes Khabib Nurmagomedov.

We have other fights coming up Curtis Blaydes v Juniordos Santos and Rafaeldos Anjos v Michael Chiesa coming up this week and next month we have another interesting fight card where Jon Jones takes on Dominick Reyes and Valentina Shevchenko taking on Katlyn Chookagian. My prediction for 247 are Jon Jones and Valentina Shevchenko as i do not see anyone beating them anytime soon .

Dana wants someone that is daunting as Mcgregor but at the same time tamed enough to obey him. I'm sure Dana is upset of what Kabib did during their fight when he jumps out of the cage.

You have a point, he might not become the face of UFC but at least the respect of fans was there and he has an undefeated record proving us that he is the best in his division despite of bein less popular and underrated. Yeah! He don't have the charisma which McGregor had but the numbers speaks loud for him. For that reason, I think that's enough to get proud of.

Exactly, every fighting fans (boxing/UFC) wanted to be entertained, we want gladiators inside the ring and give us the fight that we all have been wanting for.

Khabib is good no doubt, but we needed personalities such as Conor to put fans on UFC arena, like what Conor can do. Conor is still the A-side and the cash cow of UFC whether we admit it or not.

The reason Conor McGregor changed his act is because he had so much issues outside that he created in the past few years when he was not fighting and he is in real trouble and who knows how much money he have spent till now to settle all the legal issues he created. Conor McGregor has the ability to piss of casual fans with these outside issues and when he fights they will purchase the tickets to watch him go down and his die hard fans will come to watch him and hence what ever he does he will be making a lot of money .

Anybody who has watched a single documentary about him can figure out that he hardly gives a fuck about fame or being the face of a UFC... It's Haram for him to be fighting for money... This is the joke of the century, it is his job to make money which he knows best and what is Haram in doing what he knows and that is fighting, i really do not understand why stupidity is mixed with sports . I get your point but that "smile" is just funny to me 

UFC has become a sport + entertainment now. If only Khabib was born sooner and joined in the early days, he would have been the face of the UFC. After Royce Gracie, the next generation of fighters and champions became cocky when they quickly rose to fame (with the exception of GSP & Aldo). The fans loved them though and UFC management capitalized on that. They promote fighters with "attitude" more compared to others.

McGregor is not like any other fighter with attitude. His market value skyrocketed because he knows how to talk and he delivers. Some fighters like Diaz and Sonnen can talk but cannot get that belt. Just go back to Conor's earlier fights and see how many fighters he trash talked and KO'd. Long time champ Aldo only lasted 13 secs and the legend Eddie Alvarez didn't stand a chance.

@uray if that's what you got from the documentary then you need to rewatch it. Dagestan is underdeveloped as hell! Dunno if you saw that Series's all parts or not... But he is constructing a Professional Gym where more people can train... it must be quite hard for them to source/ship the materials where even the roads aren't developed yet... Where do you think he will put his money? The guy lives with his Mum&Dad and is Patriotic as Fuck! LOL!! If I remember correctly there was the question of whether he might end up in politics to which he responded along the lines that might be possible. The dude is super famous already and can definitely help their struggling economy...
