Man i feel so bad for Dan Hooker; bro got folded like a lawn chair with those kicks to the body and liver, bro could barely even put up a fight smh!; made me think he was just there for the pay and nothing else cos his body language seemed off from the beginning of the fight.

Kinda reminds me of his fight with Barboza, almost the same type of leg kicks and pressure that eventually broke him down was what happened in this fight with Parnasse.

Three straight stoppage losses now, it’s hard to argue that he’s not washed and i think it’s time for him to wrap it up for real.

Hangman is tough no doubt but at 36years old and coming off three straight losses, i doubt that there’s still much left for him again in the UFC after his performance yesterday, unless he just wants to stick around cos of the money; i and a lot of other people would understand if he decides to call it quits and walk away.

Lol, won all 3 bets. Should have made a parlay Nice body kick in a debut fight. First fight in UFC and already got into top15. But, Parnasse next opponent might be tough for him if it is not Ruffy or Nolan. Future in UFC for Hooker is shady. 3 lost last fights, 2 by TKO and a submission. Either he will be sort of a gatekeeper, or will be kicked out from UFC. 12 years in UFC with a record of 50/50 does not him a lot of chances to stay.

There are some speculations about him fighting against Paddy in his return, and I think that's the fight that would make sense, unless he wants to move back to featherweight, but I don't think that he will.
I believe he originally said he only wants a rematch against Justin, but he no longer has the belt, so he will have to take what they give him.

Why was this message so focused on Huge? I think it was done to probably make the video attractive for some emotional people because I'm 100% confident Hugo worries more about his Fortnite skins than about the fact that Ilia lost one fight against Gaethje 

He wants a rematch with Justin but I honestly don't see any reason. He isn't someone who deserves an immediate rematch for the title. Yes, I would really love to see a new fight between them but he has to beat some guys before he fights for the title.

By the way, it's so interesting to see his next fight. Now he doesn't have the sense of immortality but I'm sure, if we keep in mind his mentality, he will really return stronger than before. So, I'm eager to see his next fights.

Lightweight division is in very interesting situation, because it is not clear who next should be given a title fight. Should it be Paddy, who took a serious beating from current champ? I dont think that victory over BSD would give Paddy a chance. Should it be a rematch with Topuria, who was dominated? Should it be Oliveira? Perhaps, but imho Justin will turn Oliveira light. Should it be Tsarukyan? A title fight after winning guy who is #10 ? Moicano? A title fight after winning Ortega who came from featherweight and did not win anything lately there. Salkilld? I dont think he deserves a title fight yet.

It was a great UFC debut by Parnasse.
It's easy to point fingers at Dan Hooker, but there was a reason he was a big underdog in that fight. Parnasse is a real deal. He was a long-reigning KSW champion and hopefully we'll see more of him soon.
He's likely to get someone from the top 10 next (possibly Gamrot) and if he passes the test, he will be up there, challenging the top 5.

I'm also hearing more speculation about the UFC wanting to do Gaethje Vs Topuria 2, potentially early next year. Thinking about it, I don't see too many better options for Justin. Topuria could potentially fight Paddy, and that would be equally interesting, but I think he would also prefer a rematch.

This is not very strange if you also watch boxing heheheh. Uncle Dana is also promoting King Ry vs. Conor Benn for the Mexican independence day weekend on September 12 through Zuffa boxing and it appears that boxing is the priority for the Mexican fans this year instead of boxing.

Also, Yair Rodriguez was the original opponent of Jean Silva who is also very much famous on the Mexican fans. However, it appears that he has become injured.

I think he had a choice to fight at UFC Freedom 250 and earn big money, or to fight at Fight Night, and decision was easy to make Maybe Lopez was ready, but it has passed only few months since last fight and he is not Kevin Holland who is able to fight 7 times per year

Anyway, bookies give +4 on Delgado. It is said that he is replacement, but he had 1 month to have a camp, however I dont think money should be risked here by betting on underdog.

I’m afraid you’re right, the lightweight division is definitely a mess right now precisely because of how the top names in the division have sorted themselves or failed to.

IMO Arman is more deserving of getting the title shot than all these other guys you mentioned as long as he can be able to defeat Ruffy on September 19.

The division is already messy enough that if Arman can be able to get a solid win over a hot striker like Ruffy, that would probably be enough to put him next in line especially when no one else has a cleaner claim to the title shot.

I think the UFC offered him a title shot so he wouldn't have to fight. I'm sure he would have fought at a high level on that card, and now he's probably adapting to a different situation. There are still rumors of a fight between him and Oliveira, but neither of them has confirmed anything. But Jean Silva should be a good "replacement" for him on that big card!

It would be interesting if Diego Lopes fights with Jean Silva for the rematch.  We know that Lopes won against Silva last year via 2 round Technical Knock Out, so it was somehow a letdown not to see a rematch between the two fighters prior to last year's event result.

I'll go for Jean Silva if no surprise turn of events happen.  With Jean Silva's experience, I think he can handle Jose Delgado fine, even with Delgado having a physique advantage.

I reckon that if Lopes did not fight in the Whitehouse, he would not also be fighting on this UFC Noche. They will not spend much money and use their most famous fighters on this because they cannot compete against King Ry vs. Conor Benn. King Ry is very much on the highest on his famousness and this will keep increasing if he will win with a very inspiring knockout!

Sorry for being stupid but I dont get it. Are you saying that UFC offered Lopez a title fight or there are rumors about that? Dunno dude, it is really hard to believe in that. He has lost 2 opportunities in featherweight against Volk, and Volk is fighting Evloev for a title in 6 weeks. Lopez moved to lightweight, but there is already a long line of those who wants to challenge Gaethje. As well as there are guys who deserve a title shot in lightweight more than Lopez.

Honestly, Topuria doesn't deserve immediate rematch because he hasn't done anything that significant in lightweight division. He left his previous division and then immediately got a title match, which he won. Then he lost against Gaethje, his second fight in the lightweight division. Now he has to fight again for the title? Doesn't make sense to me and would be extremely unfair.
I think that Arman Tsarukyan deserves fight for the title. Yes, he ruined the fight against Islam but I think that he really deserves to fight for the title at the moment. Oliveira deserves the fight for the title too.

If UFC see Topuria as one of their top milking cows, then I would make Topuria vs Pimblett if I was in charge They have beef before, they both are popular. Only then the winner might be first to have a title fight or a fight that will grant a title fight for the winner. No matter how I like Oliveira, I wish to see more new blood on top of lightweight division. I think that if Oliveira get belt back, there will be a huge chance that he will lose it at first defense.

Saw a clip today on X where Dana white said he won’t be renewing MVP’s contract with the UFC and i think that’s kinda messed up considering the fact that MVP is 5-1 in the UFC.

He didn’t say the reason why explicitly but i think it’s because of MVP’s underwhelming performances and his lack of proper finishes in his fights even though most of his opponents were unranked mid level fighters.

But it still surprises me that Dana white still keeps the likes of Chandler and Tuivasa around even with their multiple losses; atleast MVP still has 5 wins in the ufc even though his fights were boring.
