I think Ethereum is vastly superior.

At least with ETC it is a legitimate forked chain with a real reason for the split and for sustaining the chain - which is a lot more than can be said for all the BTC splits. But still, ETC is not as good as ETH and I dono't think its future is as good. ETH is by far the number one smart contract platform, and I can't see ETC ever replacing it.

both are good for long term investments,
but i'am sure the majority of people here will saying if the real ethereum is better than ethereum classic including me,
so i recommend you to invest more in the real ethereum rather than ethereum classic

technically ethereum classic is the original blockchain which kept the immutability of the chain instead of doing the roll back and get back the money of the ethereum foundation back to them.
but since ethereum is centralize the "real" ethereum is determined only as the one that the foundation (the owners) says it is so ETH is the "real" one that is getting pumps and the hype of their advertisements.

Ethereum is very good than the classic Ethereum because the popularity is held by Ethereum with a very good team that is respected by some famous people and believes Ethereum will be good in the future, only speculation there may be special intentions in conveying something like that, let's wait for the movement but I will choose Ethereum as the winner now and so on from every very strong support.

Ethereum classic basically is what ethereum used to be when it first started and right now has absolutely nothing that could show people or help people to actually get proffered over ethereum. Ethereum on the other hand could so much with its blockchain, it could do ICO stuff, dapp stuff, data service type of stuff and many more. That is why when there is a versus amons ethereum classic and ethereum there is absolutely no way of the classic winning that. However the real deal is why hasn't classic died yet? Why is it not under 1 satoshi? Why is it still around if it is so useless and has no purpose ?

Well, that is a real good question that I have no answer to and would like to know more about. What are the ethereum classic holders think when they are investing into it? That would shed so much light on all other useless coins seeing attention as well.

Well ethereum classic will never stand toe to toe with ethereum in my opinion. I recently learnt Ethereum classic currency doesn't have a fixed supply and that really doesn't go down well with me... Limited supply is one of the driving force behind the value of cryptocurrencies and taking away that feature greatly inflicts the integrity of the Ethereum classic blockchain.. Secondly I think they have failed to deliver much over the years and the absence of products seriously makes ETC unfavorable in my opinion..

True Ethereum classic is the true chain of initial Ethereum but Ethereum has forked (several times) for good.
It's not just perceptions, simple data would prove that Ethereum is the Ethereum chain people love.

All Those claims doesn’t make any sense, Ethereum Classic remains what it is called and the real Ethereum we know remains Ethereum.  So whoever is saying that ETC is the main Ethereum doesn’t really know what they are saying. ETC has already been abandoned, if not for the bull run that started recently and cause the price to rise up. While it is true that Ethereum Classic is the true Ethereum chain (hardfork last 2016 caused the Eth and Etc), I don't see much development there last ICO boom of 2017. Almost all those that did ICO last 2017 used Ethereum chain than Ethereum Classic. That boom also gave rise to Eth to be the #1 altcoin.

I think it will be better to investing in Ethereum. The DAO 3.6million Ether incident was the beginning of the fork between Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.
Some parties were rejecting the fork, and keep continuing the old chain, it is Ethereum Classic.

Me, I usually don’t care about any coin that either is a fork or copy of another coin, the main coin will always be stronger. Those coins usually have nothing to offer, they only hide under the name of the original project, and ethereum will always be more preferable and more reliable than ethereum classic.

Many still wonder which is better between the two, but for me, id rather choose ethereum, why? because ETH is more easy to liquidate and more easy to buy and sell, especially one of the best thing about this currency is that, here in our country, we have a local exchanger, that is why its easy to invest and liquidate ETH compared to Ethereum classic which is not available in my country.

I think is better Ethereum because is the first coin and this will always have higher value, but who want can invest on both and this is possible that both bring a profit on long time.

I also agree with you, if Ethereum is better than Ethereum Classic, because more people are using and investing in Ethereum so the price of Ethereum will definitely increase higher than the price of Ethereum Classic, therefore I would rather invest in Ethereum than in Ethereum Classic, because the profit that I get will be greater if I invest in Ethereum.

For me Both are my coins , but I do invest in other projects as I am looking for increasing the amount of my bitcoin i hold, if we look at a fact
Ethereum classic or Ethereum can give a profit of 5x of its price as of Now in USDT at long term invest.
but if I go for a coin like lsk/bTC or STRAT/bTC in has a room to give a 5x that i think more profit.

Ethereum Classic is an average coin in my view! Ethereum and Ethereum Classic are like the  Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash! Ethereum Classic community is not good enough and their admin's behavior is not professional! I was shocked by seeing some admins reply, it seems they don't care all of their customers! Just put up on your mind that there would be no forked coin that would be more much better than the original ones.
Lets say they are overhauled when it comes to features or specs but the support would still stick to the older ones.
Try to check out on the marketcap if which coin do able to surpass its price to the coin where it forked.None right?

After the EOS, ETH has the fastest transactions speed per second as far as I know. ETH ERC20 tokens are prominent for the crypto ecosystem, I also will choose the ETH  than forks of ETH. BCH is a clone of real Bitcoin and I never accept it as a digital crypto

Ethereum is the best of this two coins. Ethereum is the king of all altcoins and Ethereum Classic is also a good coin but if you compare between this two, it is true that Ethereum is more popular and demanded coin. Ethereum now is on the rise and we are hoping that this will cross $300 soon.

Many bitcoin forks occupy the top lines of coinmarketcap. It is obvious that they are transmitted an aura emanating from bitcoin. We see the same thing with Ethereum Classic, which is also among the top altcoins. So I try to keep both of these coins in my portfolio.

A few times etc gets a big problem and this is not even happening with ethereum. From all of the factors and ethereum will always be superior to ETC. When it comes to the POS and etc still stuck at that level. ETC is not having a good tech and it's an out dated tech

Some of the users may argue that Ethereum Classic is the real ETH, because it didn't reversed the transaction involving DAO robbery. However, the adoption and acceptance level of ETC is much lower than that of ETH and in the recent years, the growth has been low for that coin. So for not, it is a wiser decision to stick to ETH. Are you talking about the 51% attack that happened to ETC last year? It happens with a lot many of the smaller altcoins. More recently, Bitcoin Gold (BTG) came under such an attack (although the transactions were reversed within a few hours). In the case of ETC, a single individual was able to control 60% of the hash power, and initiated a number of "double spend" transactions.

I feel like ethereum classic is a good miners coin, it doesn't really bring in anything aside from that. Unfortunately in crypto world there are coins who are still alive and has a market cap all because day traders, miners and stuff like that keep buying/selling it and make it still relevant when in reality they do not have any proper investors to begin with.

It is not like bitcoin or even ethereum where there are investors who buy it for long term to make a profit, it is just a temporary thing for the people. I would prefer ethereum over the classic any day of the week, well basically everyone does because when you look at it classic is down the list whereas ethereum itself is the second ranked coin in the market cap which means people usually prefer that one over any other altcoin and not just the classic.

Ethereum classic is a forked version of the real ethereum and we can call that as a lite version of ethereum which has already created caused by the DAO hardfork. That's similar like litecoin as a lite version of bitcoin I think that's very easy to understand about what ethereum classic is.

Ethereum is far better Ethereum classic and it will continue that way, this is my opinion. Yes, Ethereum classic is good as well but can't be compared to Ethereum. Ethereum has been growing and advancing for a long time now but same can't be said about Ethereum classic which has been struggling all this while. Furthermore, there are users who likes to keep both as you never can tell what the future holds and in the same way, there are users who sticks to Ethereum as it's offers better opportunities.

I think that although Ethereum classic originated from a fork with a real reason behind it, the Ethereum is far ahead and has a proven team that in my oppinion will always keep the project ahead of other smart contract platforms...

This sounds like the same statement, 'bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin' even if they say or market their coins in the name of top coins no one is going to accept their argument. Let me say this here: how can a fork coin be better than the original coin? Or how original protocol will be compared to a clone protocol? We all know that, the entire market of cryptocurrency stand on two ground or two protocols, that of the Bitcoin and Ethereum. Ethereum is far way better than Ethereum classic. ethereum better in my opinion because of the ranking in terms of volume ethereum in coinmarketcap and better and for interest was great and had a CEO who is clearly very reliable for trading on exchanges around the world I suggest you buy ethereum for now and for the future Vitalik is always active for blockchain development.

Ethereum Classik is just a copy of the real Ethereum, so naturally there are many who hold ETH compared to ETC, indeed Bitalik is very active in technology and they even have time to hold meetings with large projects to develop it going forward.
Ethereum has become a worldwide coin where many people believe that ETH will return to its original state in 2017.

I would go for Ethereum right now. Its performance right now in the market signals that it will pump soon. Great developments are in the Ethereum blockchain are coming, especially the proof-of-stake protocol. But don't disregard Ethereum classics also. Many who still value the proof-of-work mechanism would support ETC.

There are only few token created using etc and after creating the token most of them  move again to ethereum platform because they know that they will not get the demand they want and expected to happen  if they will continue to use ethereum classic .

I do not agree. Don't compare ethereum with ethereum classic. Ethereum has a stronger technology than ethereum classic. The smart contract created by ethereum. I mean, before Ethereum did hardfork. Various kinds of projects using ethereum technology. so obviously almost everyone chooses ethereum.

It would be easy choice for anyone to pick either one based on the rate of growth happened in last 10 days or in current bull run. Based on this fact, obviously everyone should choose ethereum and should abondon ethereum classic.

A improvement based fork is always made for making the coin better. If you consider this fact then you must adopt ethereum alone. (Do not get confused by the fork of BCH as it was not a BIP based fork). Bitcoin must have had a fork but fortunately devs came up with segwit and I believe in near future we must need another BIP like segwit otherwise hard fork may be inveitable.
