You mentioned up thread that you manually review all the reports before submitting them, yet you say to ask theymos as to how many of your reports are inaccurate as evidence of the accuracy of your bot. These two items conflict with each other.
No, it's just you looking for any angle to attack me. Stop derailing every thread with that shit. Create a scam accusation about this "very dishonest person" and add it to your signature, lying asshat. It is nonsense this is off topic or derailing the thread. This thread is about the large number of bans, which you are playing a role in causing via your bot you use to locate plagiarism. My post is entirely on topic, as it is about the circumstances surrounding the mass bans. As I previously stated, you previously both claimed the following: 1: you manually review each instances of plagiarism prior to reporting them: 2: theymos could attest to the accuracy of your bot in how often it shows false positives based on your report accuracy rating You appear to have deleted some posts, however the two above statement conflict with eachother, and cannot both be true. |

Yesterday 448 new bans (including Nuked accounts). My last update is just under 7 days ago, here's an update with 739 new Autobans:

I don't dig deeply, but look at the list, since ID#131, most of banned users from ID#131 to ID#779 are Member-rank and below users (most of them are Newbies). It means nearly 83 percent of 779 users last weeks are at Member rank and below; and I guess that around 80 percent are newbies.
For the top 130 banned users (from ID #1 to ID#130), most of them are Full Member. I don't know how the plagiabot owner set priorities to run it, but from results above, it is likely that target rank was been move down from Ledgendary, Hero Member and Senior Member to Full Member (since last week).

Look closely, there are actually some few Hero, Senior and Legendary accounts that were banned too. perhaps the numbers are fewer now because people are taking extra caution on their older accounts unlike newbies who don't really care that much. |

Most of these banned users where actually account farmed by farmers due to plagiarism, and the buyers never deem it fit to check the legitimacy of the bought account. System is going to get good again. |

I hardly believe there is a target like this. IMHO the only bottleneck is scanning messages, which seems to be done section by section. If it was historically, no newbies would be banned at first. Since the bottleneck isn't the resources needed by the bot to actually process the messages, it only means most high ranking members cheating a long time ago have been caught already, which seems logical if they plagiarized a lot. You can't ban a user twice  |

I've always wondered how the bot worked or what it's pattern was for sweeping through the forum. I'm sure it will be along time before we find out if we do. I am surprised how long it's taken to get down to mostly low rank bans Member and below. I do believe the bot to be ignorant to all factors apart from the content of the post.
It will eventually keep on this way as there will always be New/Evading blood joining the forum and a percentage of them will plagiarize and be caught up before they can achieve a higher rank. The higher rank members who've been banned had no idea something like this would ever come, so they got caught off guard. If they knew/remembered they plagiarized I'm sure most have combed their post count to check for plagiarism.
Edit: I may have missed this as I read through. Any reason some users don't receive the Banned! label?

In fact, no one should get surprised People were obviously looking for a quick buck back in the day and they didn't care much about looming problems in the distant future (read, they didn't think at all). Now that their past has caught up with them, they may feel hurt (as the amount of appeals clearly shows), but it happens everyday and everywhere anyway, so we can only imagine how many will get banned in the future and for what exactly (read, not necessarily for plagiarism) |
