Now that bitcoin is at 7000k plus is mining becoming profitable again?
Mining would always be profitable. If it isn't profitable, no one would actually mine bitcoin and all transactions are delayed because no one will ever confirm it.

Or bitcoin still have to surge more in price before profitable mining returns?
If it surges more and brings altcoins up again, surely it will be more profitable for altcoin miners too.

For now the profitability of mining highly depends on your electricity rate so it's not profitable for everyone (yet) but that might change if the crypto-markets continues to recover.
For everyone? we don't have the same electricity charges so don't conclude that it's not profitable for everyone.
In my country it's already known that electricity is quite high in charges but it's still profitable if you have a decent place and nice temporary to sustain your miners.

Mining is completely way out of it ,they profits are just too low so the fact is other ways are better ,I'd even choose airdrops over mining or bounties too,if airdrops could give you 50$ to 100$ these days its way better than mining and wasting energy
Mining was way out of it when the market was still bearish and we all know that miners needs a very good market for them to really make profit, now that the market is good again and in the bull run, I think this is the time that miners will really start entering the market and mining profitable coins.

it is not all mineable coins that are energy intensive, the most energy intensive of the is bitcoin, wherein with this Bull run, they will still be able to make more money now for good profit. Bounties and airdrops are good, but to get a reliable ones and profitable one is not a child’s play now.

Mining have never been an investment where you lose money i think.Being smart in mining is needed knowing what coin you should and should not mine is a big factor which some miners are doing.I know few miners who mines direct bitcoin and complains on how much power the waste and still no profit.Mining is always profitable

In order to get a good profit from mining, first of all, you need to have many powerful devices and constantly update their technical support, as the complexity of mining is constantly growing and more powerful devices are required if we speak for the top cryptocurrency, then it is not particularly profitable get good money.

As the price continues to go up the fees for making transaction will as well go up with it ,and mining will get difficult as well. But it will still be profitable I believe, if you invest at the right place (I mean cloud mining) or if you're mining yourself then you will have to make use of the right tools.

The question is whether you will be able to cope with the expenses that comes with it, cause mining has never been an easy thing, even when the price is low and when the price is high, it is not easy.
I also believe that mining is still profitable as long as we invest intelligently as you say, choose the exact location to invest and have the right tools for mining but these simple problems are always a difficult problem for everyone because the tool and the cost of mining are too expensive, the time to recover capital is always very long when the market situation seems to be too bad in recent years. If someone has experienced and invested in mining very early, they may continue but a newbie who wants to participate in this issue, I really do not encourage, too risky.

Therefore, I say that today mining is developing on an industrial scale for the extraction of BTC. This is the main direction for mining, which will definitely bring money, all other options will not guarantee you that you can earn.

I think that there is a sense of mine then when there really is a coin that you mine it is expensive.  In other cases, you'll just go to zero.  Due to the fact that electricity is very expensive.

Am yet to know what is involved in mining but as I hear from friends who are miners, the business is a very profitable one. I do not know if there's a way prices affect mining but am thinking a surge up in price will give positive return when it comes to mining. Mwanwhile, you should ask this question on the mining section to get clearer answer.

Of course, I think that mining is a way to get rich easily, the only thing is that you have to worry about the machines and to have the electricity service up to date, since to invest in new mining machines is also another way of go increasing the way in which ma is generated, but at the end, this investment is achieved with the same mining work.
Starting from $ 5k, the bitcoin mining business started to be very profitable, so $ 7k is much more attractive from the point of view of obtaining greater profitability.

Those who are miners know that the market can continue to rise due to the huge boom of the last few days, this increases the demand for bitcoin and its operations, generating in turn ever more masbitcoin due to mining.

In this area of the market, the miner knows very well that at any moment the price can fall, these scenarios have been seen, studied and have generated the perfect plan to protect themselves from the volatility of the market in the mining business.

In fact it was speculating that a lot of bearish environment was due to the fact that the mineers have many accumulated bitcoins that do not sell, therefore, for the StrongHands it turns out to be a considerable percentage, which is taken into account for the volume of bitcoins that they usually use. accumulate. For this reason I think that the part of mining is very profitable and always will be, especially for those countries where electric service is very cheap, it is even better.

I do not think that mining will become profitable again. This is the direction that has outlived itself. Earn it, only those who did it in the beginning. Beginners will not be able to get as much.

Mining is already profitable, but it depends on the electricity costs which could differ from country to country. Some mining projects already has continued the mining and the payout some others are on the way to do it.

I could say yes because from $3,00 then turn on a sudden into $7k to $8k plus so, theres no doubt that many blockchain transaction in bitcoin appear and make miners gain more profits. And if it is continue to rise by remaining quarter the more miners will mine in blockchain transaction.

And also, you can mine not only bitcoin but other alts which have promising value in the market. And if you will go solar it will really help a lot in getting good returns. I believe mining will be profitable again and still is, you just need to choose the right options for you.

Price has very little to do with it, well sort of. It ties in with the mining difficulty. Most cannot compete with countries that pay under $0.05 and sometimes almost free for electricity. You cannot mine in London or Newyork and expect to make any good profits when you up against Chinese farmers which industrial sized warehouses. They also get the best miners first before anyone else.

There seems to be no profit for bitcoin, but for altcoin it seems like yes because they always have a new coin to be mined, and it also seems to be more profitable altcoin than bitcoin for now.

I don't think that, the price of bitcoin must be more expensive so that mining can be profitable again, electricity costs are now more expensive because miners also have to get more results so they can still benefit after they pay electricity bills and various other mining needs

I hope the market will continue to rise and so miners will gain more profits at this time. They'll probably be at big struggles last year as bear season stay so long and some of mining industries get shutdown.
Now the price have its step to bullish and it is a perfect time for them.

the bear season is long and now the season will end and become a bull.
the hopes and hopes of many of our people naturally want the market to increase so that we can make a profit, but sometimes expectations are not in line with reality.
we must be patient and continue to be optimistic so that we can do it well and not be easily discouraged even if the market is in any condition.

Now it is getting more profitable after BTC rise, but home miners still have no reason for this activity.
Only if you have source of cheap electricity, then you can mine, but in other case it is not a good idea
