You should pay attention to mainstream media whenever you can, in order to see the latest happenings of crypto within the mainstream world.
Whenever there's negative news related to crypto, prices start to decline massively. And once there's positive news related to crypto, you could expect the whole crypto market to rise exponentially within the short term. It's as simple as that. But be aware that not every altcoin is good for your pocket. Some of them are extremely hyped without delivering true development or use cases for the mainstream world.
