I don't believe in airdrops, because 99% of airdrops are scam or their tokens worth 0 after listing on a crap exchange like forkdelta.

There are projects that don't ask for data verification for the free distribution of coins. And to give constantly your personal data is very risky. In addition, free coins bring very little profit.

I would not recommend participating in airdrop. Now there are almost no worthy projects and therefore I do not see any sense to spend my time on them. There are more interesting things to do.

Some airdrop is trusted, but I advise you to be more careful in following airdrop, especially those that require KYC. I followed some airdrop but I didn't follow any airdrop. I always select the airdrop that I will follow closely because I don't want my security to be threatened. I follow airdrop which can really guarantee my security and guarantee the security of my KYC ID. I followed Airdrop for a project whose development was clear and did not believe in certain airdrop issues well and could provide big benefits.

~snip~ they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.

It is true that some Airdrops require the participant's ID. But I think it is not always too risky, depends on who provide the Airdrops. I ever participated in XLM Airdrop in blockchain.com, and it required KYC for registration and verification there. I followed all the requirements and there is no problem till now. But for new platforms that offer Airdrop KYC, I always refuse them. Since I don't know how the track-record of the teams yet, I never think to join.

I do not dare to say to participate in airdrop, as you mentioned on this topic, that is, many coins that are obtained do not have a price. Regarding KYC, for me it's not something to be afraid of. I actually think KYC is very positive in expressing our seriousness in participating.

indeed following airdrop which requires KYC to be very risky because of the insecurity of the ID we provide, the price of the airdrop
tokens is also very low and many are of no value, to be honest I have no interest in following airdrop especially what requires KYC

I've participated in dozens of airdrops earning almost nothing. But sometimes - very rarely you can hit something valuable - for example now Energi has its airdop in which offers tokens worth over $ 200. The difference between this one and the hundreds of other worthless tokens is that this coin is listed at 138 position on the coinmarketcap and listed on 4 exchanges. In addition, it has a simplified KYC where you do not need to send the full ID photo (only your name must be visible and other data can be hidden) so it is definitely safe. Unfortunately, such airdrops are very rare ....

Nowadays many ICOs offer free coins, but we have two problems with this free coins, the first one the value of this coins will drop after start trading due to a lot have free coins willing to sell it, and the second they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.

Please vote to help others

It is dropping just because bounty hunters tend to sell the reward tokens right after they received the token. I am not interested in airdrops but I do witnessed some people who are fond of joining airdrops and fortunately, they are gaining from those rewards. They have really huge patience waiting for the rewards and I must say that they will not wait that much if they can't earn from that. Though not all tokens have a value, some of them are useless. But at least, nothing will lose if they'll join.

I have followed a lot of airdrop, but there is currently nothing that can become money. the average is only a shit token. and also more complicated when it comes to doing KYC. some airdrop which I currently don't use KYC is still following, but the one that requires KYC I better avoid it. besides being at risk also results that are uncertain

I suggest, but you must be smart and careful to choose Airdrop. I once earned hundreds of dollars by collecting Airdrop coins. Indeed it's free but it certainly follows it too carefully. For Airdrop who suggested KYC, I don't think it's necessary to join, don't sacrifice your personal data only for Airdrop, which is uncertain about entering the market.

I think Airdrop is a waste of time, so I don't recommend joining Airdrop unless you don't have another job because if you want to profit, you have to follow 50 more Airdrops.
jasi you can conclude by yourself and decide for myself.

as long as it's free and has a very easy task why not? provided they don't ask for KYC or have to send 0.01 ETH to claim token. if you really ask for both I suggest avoiding it

At the moment, it is quite difficult to find worthwhile projects that could interest people not only with free coins, but also with their idea. Previously, it was difficult to do - now almost impossible.

Airdrops which is asking for personal information is not recommended, there's always a risk especially if the project is not usable, always be careful when you are thinking with joining in any types of this market, think of your security as always.
I totally agree. I am not willing to sacrifice my personal information for a little amount of money from airdrops. They are giving free coins yet they are also asking for you to do something for them, I think that is enough for now and KYC is inappropriate right now especially that their coins initially have no value at all.

I agree , it's stupid to spent the time at the moment , I think you should do something more profitable than doing airdrop is better now bounty have to do

I am not interested in following airdrop especially what requires KYC, the data security provided for KYC is not guaranteed, nowadays many airdrop results are only shitcoin and have no value, many airdrop scams make me not interested in following them, filling KYC is also very risky so it's better to avoid airdrop which requires KYC

I do believe that it is convenient to participate in airdrops, because it is an easy and simple way in which crypto-enthusiasts can help new developers to experiment and propose new projects. It is true that these days rarely an airdrop offers the great profits that used to be before in this type of promotions, however not everything is money in this crypto-universe and we must learn to collaborate in all kinds of projects, especially taking into account that the tasks required to participate in an airdrop usually are not very difficult to do and can be done in a few minutes.

if it's a free coin only, why not, if they ask for KYC no way I will not trade my information for few pennies and you don't even know if the coin will have value at all seeing hundreds of coins dropping in value and new coins at no value at all in the market.

My vote is almost same with a lot of people  Grin. Of course we agree airdrops is give free money so it is worth to do. As long it not use KYC or maybe if KYC really worth with it's prize, i think i will look about it.
