Jesus almighty, I'm still rooted to the bottom of this league. They've been enough upsets in this tourney already, but I hardly ever pick a draw when choosing an unexpected outcome, so I've missed out. Very frustrating to bet against the flow and still lose when the results take just the wrong flow haha.

So it looks like Qatar and Japan both earn a point. I daresay either of the 2 teams manages to even draw the next game and they'll progress. Qatar might just do the honours of knocking Argentina out... and I think even a draw sees them progress, so hey, maybe I get lucky tonight. Qatar 0.5 handicap doesn't do justice to the odds though, so I'll wait till the day itself.

Anyway, analysis after the fact will drive you crazy. Perhaps I get to enjoy the games on Sunday instead.

The other day the draw match (Argentina 1 - 1 Paraguay) was just an accident. I was angry on Argentina's performance in their first match and then I though fuck them and do something that not expected and seems like it worked 🤣

Although while I was gambling I picked Argentina to win in an acca and lost it only for this pick.

Maybe Venezuela vs Bolivia could be boring but I do not think Brazil vs Peru will be. Brazil has to fight vs Peru which is not a bad team. Losing this game for them would be very shameful since they could be knocked out from the competition in their land!!

Took a quick look at the thread and placed bets on the two choices above and they hit with brazil scoring early on and into the second half with alot more. Venezuela had a harder time with boliva with all their shots hitting the crossbar in the second half but they put in a nice header in the last 2 minutes of the game to solidify the win.
Not bad odds for them either @1.57x before the match and brazil over 2.5 goals them getting 5 goals with the penalty awarded into extra time.

Argentina looks badly and I think that there is only hope for Messi. now looks like he can't pool the whole team like Ronaldo does with Portugal.

I didn't expected to see such big win of Brazil. They were able to score even more. On the final minutes of the game penalty of Jesus was saved by Peru goalkeeper. After difficult match against Venezuela, this win was really nneded for Brazil, not only to finnish 1st in the group, but also to improve their confidence.
I can't wait for Sunday games. Will we see another failure of Argentina? Even if they will win against Qatar, it may be not enough because not everything in their hands. Colombia have guaranteed 1st place, so they may rest they key players and even lose to Paraguay, which would mean that Argentina woulf finnish only third. Offcourse, they can qualify through ranking of third placed teams, but it's risky thing.

What are you talking about? Only 2 teams have an advantage how? Anyway yes, Argentina to win the tournament is looking very good, they are not in a good position now but this looks like the easiest game they will have in this tournament. Maybe a few bad results is good for a big team,,, because if you win everything too early you lose near the end like Barca and Messi in Champions League 1 loss and they were out. Liverpool lost 4 times and still won the Cup. Tough group stage remember?
