LOL I was so confuse about the match time that I forgot to pick my team for the last group match between Ecuador and Japan. Seems like I will never climb up in the point table. hahay is still leading with glory.

I hate taking "popular" bets. I am thinking in a way that bookies will end each day in profit. Meaning few of the most popular bets must end with unexpected results in order to bust most people. That is especially true on days with limited choices of games. For this one I am thinking Chile to score @1.45 has some value but I decided to take more risky option of both to score and over 2.5 goals @2.30.

Many people including me expected Chile to win yesterday or in the worse case a draw to happen but Uruguay did win.This copa America has been full of surprises and I think that even Ecuador game is some sort of surprise,not being able to beat Japan is not the best of performance from a better quality side.

For the first match, I also thought that Chile is going to win Uruguay. And I am very surprised that they didn't score any goals.
As for the second match it was obvious for it to finish in a tie. The teams have the same quality and balanced squads so the draw is a fair results for both counterparts.

I officially hate Copa America now lol , things don't make sense anymore
in Japan vs Ecuador there were 2 goals in the first 35 minutes then both teams failed to score anymore  , the weird thing is the 2nd half I was feeling that it was a friendly game not a game where both of the teams need the win to qualify
was expecting a lot of action , a lot of cards and a lot of goals ..etc but the 2nd half was a complete disaster for both of the teams

this match only served Paraguay 

in Chile vs Uruguay the scenario was kinda expected , Chile wasn't lucky enough to score a goal even tho they deserved it

but here we go .. another negative day in Copa America

I am kind of in doubt about Colombia - Chile match. Colombia is playing good football however Chile is the defending Champion two times in a raw. In Copa America Chile become the Brazil, Argentina LOL

I may change my mind but right now I stick to Chile.

Between the Uruguay - Peru, I will go wil Uruguay. They have better record than Peru.

My money is on Columbia. Didn't check the odds yet but if they make Chile favorites I'll take Colombia not to lose for high stake. Columbia is playing very organized football and I am quite sure they are not loosing this one in regular time. Could very well end as a draw and get decided on penalties.

I actually thought it was strange that Uruguay were the slight underdogs. I'd pick them any day (and I did! Shame it was part of a parlay that failed). I also thought Japan were a good side so I'm not surprised at all they drew (I predicted that exactly in our pool anyway). I think the bookies got it mostly wrong in this Copa, but I will admit  that I was expecting more victory upsets, not just draws. Somehow, draws always piss me off haha.

@tokeweed what happened haha! I jinxed you when I said congratulations, didn't I? I did climb up to 9th but I'd be doing so much better if I didn't back Qatar 3 times in a row haha.

@SyGambler: That's the problem indeed. I honestly thought Japan would push for the winner, since they needed to win but they looked like they didn't want to qualify. Very strange tourney indeed.

Next match not worth betting at all unless you think Paraguay can win. (16/1)

And Brazil is through, anyone watch the match? This is exactly what I mean so far when I said all the upsets have been worthless -- draws and not underdog victories! Straight ducks all in a row for all of us. I was the only one who predicted a 1 goal margin victory, and even though tempted to predict Paraguay upset, I'd still have lost, so yeah, stupid tourney so far.

If Brazil play like this in the SF, they won't make it though. I still think they need to start with Firmino, yes, he's not samba all out, but he gets the defence jittery and that's how you play against a defensive side. Get them scared. Qatar did it, Tite should have watched.

I'm thinking of parlaying Venezuela with Colombia tonight, and then hedging it with Argentina win. A draw would kill me though haha.

Brazil almost risked the qualification against one of the weaker teams of the tournament like Paraguay.I think that if they had been against Venezuela which they draw their group game they may have been eliminated yesterday night but the winners cannot be judged so congratulations to them.

I went the opposite route. I took Venezuela not to lose @ 2.9 and Columbia to win and under 2.5 @3.6 together on the same ticket but for low stakes. I have a feeling that could pass but I am nowhere near confident enough to take any bet on tonight's matches for high stakes. Maybe only Colombia 1x @1.35 but that odds are a bit on low side for me.

daaah, this old fame of Brazil is not working. I thought they will have a clean win but the match was decided in the Penalty. The glory is no more for Brazil and Argentina.

I picked Argentina for today's match and not sure if I will get any point LOL
