So, Uruguay is out of the Copa as well. Damn, in this competition almost every game goes in opposite direction from my predictions. Good thing the game was played earlier than I thought. I just went to betting site to place the bet and found out that Peru won on penalties. I was sure Uruguay is winning this.

If I post any more tips related to this competition you just pick opposite and have a sure money 

This could be another Chile's trophy, as I expect them to make to the final and face either Brazil or Argentinal (preferably), Third time could be a charm for Messi and his compatriots.

Unfortunately no one from the pool pick a draw, or even peru to win. We are down to the last four games now, with harder choices to make

I'm so disappointed that Uruguay got eliminated because it was my favorite team in this tournament. They scored 3 goals tonight, but all these goals been scored from offside and referee cancelled it. And referee decisions was absolutely right. Peru reaching semifinals probably is the biggest surprise in this tournament

Peru reached semi, it's not a surprise I think. Peru made it against Uruguay, that's the surprise for me.

A thrilled match is knocking at the door. In Copa, Brazil vs Argentina is very rare. Here is the result of last three meets in Copa America.

1999 Semi Final
Brazil vs Argentina- 2:1
Although Argentina took an early lead, Brazil have had the last laugh. Both the team was full of legend like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Riquelme.

2004 Final
Brazil vs Argentina- 2(4):2(2)
It was more thrilled, the match was a drawn of 2:2, Argentina has scored at 87th minute but failed to defend. At the end, Brazil won with tie breakers.

2007 Final
Brazil vs Argentina- 3:0
Even though Argentina was full of famous player like Riquelme, Messi, Veron, Tevez, Mascerano, they failed to have a competitive match. A almost total young team of Brazil made it.

History and performance, both are in favor of Brazil, I think this time, Brazil will win once again.

The funny thing is that this is such a short tourney too, so it's really hard to say how we'd have performed over the long term. I do remember the early frontrunners in the EPL pool falling away towards the end of the season.

Can't believe I didn't even predict ONE draw though.

I think Brazil, name is on the trophy this year, they have the best mix of talents. The defence is good, the GK rock solid, creative midfield & Firmino + G Jesus is a nice attack.

I would agree with you that Brazil has a better team.
However, it is only one game between Brazil and Argentina and everything is possible. Maybe one detail can make Argentina win that. A Messi's foul or a mistake in Brazil's defence. I wouldn't be so sure that Brazil is going to win that.

I would agree with you that Brazil has a better team.
However, it is only one game between Brazil and Argentina and everything is possible. Maybe one detail can make Argentina win that. A Messi's foul or a mistake in Brazil's defence. I wouldn't be so sure that Brazil is going to win that.

Moreover, Brazil has other advantages because this tournament takes place in Brazil. So by acting as a host, Brazil has a much better atmosphere and again if we look at head to head from both teams I personally believe Brazil will win the match, but I don't think there will be many goals created in this match.

I have already said that no one can predict every match that occurs. And Peru has good luck for this competition and it's worth going to the next stage. It is feasible or inappropriate, of course we cannot say because what happens in the field is reality.

Most talented is not the winner every time. Croatia went to the final of World Cup with an average team. Brazil may be the most valuable squad among all Copa America teams but that doesn't make them the automatic winner.
I have seen all four quarter finals and in my opinion Argentina played the best football among all 4 teams that reached semis. Argentina squad isn't perfect at all, they lack the required co-ordination, their talisman isn't in his best form but most importantly of all, they have required passion to win the cup. They look like completely different in quarterfinal in contrast to group stages. So sometimes passion plays upper-hand as compared to skills and can create wonders. I do believe we will see same teams in finals for thrice in a row but final outcome could be different this time.

Yupz, Brazil is indeed a team that is highly favored in this competition. And in the near future this will be against Argentina. In my opinion it is not a difficult match for Brazil, because Brazil will always be able to pass every match that exists. I believe that Brazil will qualify for the final.

This was a Copa America full of surprises,Columbia and Uruguay are eliminated by teams that are not stronger than them with Uruguay I think being the bigger surprise between the two games.

We are going to see a game between Argentina and Brasil and this will be the most beautiful game of the tournament so it should not be missed to watch on Tv.

well, the Wednesday match is a hard one to predict, I'm giving a little advance to Brasil and will have an insomnia night for sure, cause they are playing at 02:30 based on my local time, but I am not gonna miss this extra super classico

That just confirms my belief that I (and probably most of you) should never bet on games/sports you don't actively watch. I think I lost all my bets on Copa America and would have been much better of if I limited myself to U21 Euro and Tennis.

Dunno...  I think I pretty much know enough on what's up with the EPL but I still suck at our pool.  Lol.

I was performing woefully too, until the last two rounds, There's still fixtures to go, whichbis more than a enough to finish among the top users, It's still an open competition IMO, and it's getting a bit more tricky now, since users with the least points and had no chance of winning could pick against the expected outcome with the hope of an upset.

I doubt Brazil will let Argentina pass through. I believe the game will be finished by the end of the first half.
