ICO projects aren't nowadays as interesting for potential investors as IEOs. Actually, we see that the number of legal and good ICOs is decreasing, and most people are more interested in IEO projects, especially those running on the big exchanges. It is a normal thing, since the token gets listed almost directly after the sale in the exchange and becomes tradeable in a short amount of time, which isn't the case for most ICOs.

ICO projects are still  been launched, even with the fact they are lots of negativity around it.  Investing in ICO projects  nowadays takes a lot of risk. All projects seem good until 3-6 months after investing and the promised project is not delivered.

ICO has not died, only the last 2 years, most ICOs are scams and many ICO developers have failed to develop platforms because they do not have the support of investors. if there are regulations for ICOs then maybe we can minimize ICO scams so that investors can trust ICOs again. but if there is no improvement from ICO then maybe IEO will really replace ICO.

Many altcoin listed on exchange market come from ICOs, you can say ICO have dead and over with thousand altcoin kind on exchange market come from with ICO investment, just have lower price with new ICO today after listing with market and is not scam, just lower trust by investor to buy ICO coin, but one day when bitcoin back to higher price I think new ICO will have good concept to make ICO with higher price after listing.

I don't think ICO is dead yet. ICO can still be an alternative choice for projects that have a limited budget compared to holding IEO on several well-known exchanges. But the downside is that people or investors are no longer interested in ICO because most projects end up failing with a token price drop after listing on the market or many of the projects are ignored and the team runs away from responsibility. Most ICOs from 2017-2018 never delivered on their promises because they were being ran by a bunch of assholes who didn't deliver squad... We need more regulation. Only then will ICOs get better imo.

Most ICOs are beyond salvation and many have lose interest in ICOs. It is very unfortunate what happened last year and many investors have lost a lot of money in that period. It clearly did a number in the reputation of altcoins. Even top alts have experienced the impact of the negative trust in altcoins. If there is only a way to make those scammers pay for what they did. I hope that this could still be fix or heal in time.

it's only natural when we see so many investors being hit by scams on ICO projects. however, until now we also hope that developments like this continue to exist, and make people more profitable.

I think ICO is not dead because I know that there are some projects that are still selling through the ICO method and successfully achieving sales targets. 2017 has been a huge hit to the cryptospace because of these scammers and scam projects, and 2018 was just the same, but lesser cases. Karatbars was one of them, their project is now being investigated by the Florida authorities and got delisted everywhere.

Investors have already learned the cons if you participated in an ICO, which is why people prefer IEO's and STO's since it's a way for themselves to be protected by exit scams.

Yes, it's possible. Personally, I no longer trust ICO or IEO and the reasons they make later. What I believe is coins that are already on the market, have high volumes, the technology can be used, and not fake teams. Everyone certainly has their own views. I do not blame or justify my personal statement. What is clear is that a bad experience happened to me when I joined ICO or IEO.

I think so ICOs are dead if not then it will be. And because of those scammers investors don't show their interest on ICO project. In 2019 many good quality ICO projects came but because of lot of scam history those project didn't reach their minimum goal.

I don't think regulation will be work for ICO anymore. Upcoming projects launch their token sale in IEO. Because in this year IEO really shows why people should choose this format.

ICO are dead, it is a fact.
