You're lucky to have few cafes accepting bitcoins in your country. In my country, you will not find a single shop or market which will accept bitcoin. I think 1 out of 1000 people uses bitcoin in my country or maybe even less.

Here in my country bitcoin is not illegal but it is not really popular because many people think that bitcoin is a scam or maybe they think its a scam because they don't know how it works. But this generation people in bitcoin increased here in my place and i think people slowly adopt it. I truly believe time will come that people here are fully accept and open about bitcoin.

My country allowed some fintech companies to set up their business in one of the economic zones, several bitcoin exchanges are given licenses by the government to operate here and a well-known local bank had established its first bitcoin atm in the capital of this country. It means the bitcoin adoption in my country continuous and government welcomes it even there is no law legalizing it. Some remittance companies are using cryptocurrencies like bitcoin to speed up the sending of money to its destination. Bitcoin is already to known some businesses in my country but they are still reluctant to use it as payment.

I think we have the same situations. That happens too in my country, and not much people know about bitcoin because they are too busy with their offline jobs, and they only use the internet for social media to talk with their friends. I don't mind to see that is happening in here, but for my closest friends and my family, I always tell them to try to learn about cryptocurrency especially about bitcoin so they can try to follow what I did in the crypto world.

You should have many things to thank those in power in your country since they never followed the kind of wrong mindset exhibited by some Asian countries such as China and India. The reality of the whole matter is that no matter how we downplay the governmental role in the spread of bitcoin and cryptocurrency, it would be so hard without the support from people manning the government. Lucky are the citizens of those countries who are opening the market for cryptocurrency and the government is not using its power to suppress it just because they think they gonna lose control of the economy because of bitcoin.

My government still forbid crypto until now.
The reason are crypto = criminal money and cause inflation.

If your government decide to legalize crypto, they ready to adopt cryptocurrency which become the great opportunity for all traders and holders to obtain profit !

For in my own country, the government strictly forbids the existence of digital currency, namely cryptocurrency, because the government will find it difficult to see the many assets of people who put their assets in crypto, because in my country every year we must report tax assets.

I don't agree with that.

The whole reason that people have less economical freedom is because govenments pop up everywhere trying to dictate every aspect of economy and life. It's way easier to spread Bitcoin adoption without governments than with governments. If it weren't governments with their harsh regulations slowing down technological advancements throughout the last decades, we would be way further in terms of progress right now.

Governments are corrupt and lack the understanding and will to allow something like Bitcoin to gain ground rapidly.

The government in my country is still in neutrality for bitcoin and crypto. It's great that we are still allowed to trade freely or to invest in crypto. Until the rules, approvals were announced, some agencies still made very positive statements to the crypto world. that proves that the government is still concerned with the popularity of crypto. At least that's in my country.

Good for you, everything can be performed without a hassle since the government is neutral, people around the community can freely enjoy
the benefits of this market, while others can attract another new investors to learned to adopt this system and also generate profits.

How about your goverment? Are they accept bitcoin as payment system or just to be use as a comodity/an asset? Just one factor that many merchants who still refuse bitcoin as payment system is because the government still ban it. I'm pretty sure if the government has regulated it again and accept bitcoin to be use as payment system then I'll find many merchants who accept it. To give an understanding againts people who doesn't know bitcoin is really hard especially if they live in a country who ban bitcoin, it will be different if there is a country who accept bitcoin then it will be easy to explain what bitcoin is and he will accept easily.

As far as I know, several online stores in my country can use Bitcoin as a means of payment for the services and products offered.  But this possibility still exists, until the government has decided on cryptocurrency and on the ridge of the foreign exchange market in general.  In fact, today there are no legal grounds for banning cryptocurrency, but someone can always find opportunities to make problems for users of cryptocurrency.  First of all, it concerns the tax services, which can always trace the connection between the standard of living of a certain person and his real income.  So far, the cryptocurrency market is in the shadow.

If all civilized countries begin to implement cryptocurrency in the daily lives of their citizens, then other countries will follow this trend.  Of course, for this you need to create a certain infrastructure, so that not only was the cryptocurrency in users' wallets, but also real possibilities for its use.  In addition, I believe that the main aspect of popularizing cryptocurrency in society is the study of this science in schools and universities.

Are you sure you sent your post to the right thread?
Yes. I'm describing the adoption here, and it's largely focused on altcoins and not on Bitcoin.

Regardless, while I definitely agree about Ripple and Binance coins, which are private cryptocurrencies at their worst, but what about EOS (don't know much about the other two)? Why do you consider it a shitcoin? Well, you personally may, of course, for whatever reason. But I quite often, if not to say most of the time, see its trading volumes by far exceeding Ethereum's (at Bitfinex). Definitely not a behavior you would expect from a shitcoin
It's a shitcoin because it doesn't experience much actual use. People think it's processing a lot of transactions, but most of these are bots sending transactions back and forth.

As for EOSs trading volume being higher than the volume Ethereum is generating, I'm not sure if I have seen EOS top Ethereum in volume on days where EOS isn't being pumped or dumped.

https://messari.io/onchainfx

There you can see that Ethereum has a 24H volume of $262 million, while EOS is just shy of $80 million in 24H volume.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Crypto adoption is slow and confusing in my country.
The country has no cryptocurrency related laws at the moment while the government and court ocassionally makes different orders based on situations that sometimes seems good for crypto while mostly seem to illegitimatize it. Merchants are accepting payments specially in touristic areas, people are being able to pay bitcoin for coffee and clothes.
There are no online exchanges or a OTC one because the country issues no license for it.

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...

Bitcoin herein my country are legally permitted by the government under the central law, people all over the country knows bitcoin as investment not the new future of money.
That's the reason adoption  is slow due to lack of knowledge people herein my country about the importance of bitcoin hoping someday people can encourage and understand well what is bitcoin future digital money by advertising in social media and other source of information.

My country reacts negatively to crypto during the 2017 surge, those times scams were all over the place, big trades happening everything and mining was a hot business. Yet adoption is close to 0 as fiat mobile wallet was more popular here, there are only countable merchants can accept bitcoins and few bitcoin ATMs, until even now no sign of embracement of blockchain within the industry, but definitely more local companies are R&D ING blockchain somehow

I live in India and as you all know India has proposed to ban cryptocurrencies as even holding them is gonna cause 10 years of jail term. I don't expect India to ban cryptocurrencies but if they do I won't leave bitcoin instead all I have to do is not withdraw my bitcoins in banks (a good reason to save money/bitcoin). this will be the greatest mistake from the indian government if they banned bitcoin as the whole world is embracing the new technology.
