Cryptocurrency will change, for sure. They will become regulated, probably change names or purposes. But never disappear. It's funny how people do not want to accept new technologies.

you can't shut down something that is decentralized and make it disappear as long as people find it useful and continue using it. which is true about bitcoin. it is like saying torrent network will disappear but peer to peer connections will remain! you can't shut down torrent network since it consists of peers connecting to each other and sharing file. bitcoin is a much stronger implementation of a decentralized peer to peer network.

what will disappear is two things: 1. the altcoins without usage that keep being created even if they have the biggest market cap among altcoins 2. the government and bank issue tokens that are more centralized than anything else.

Agree, a lot is still using bitcoin and it's even increasing because of today's bitcoin price, they can attack bitcoin with whatever but I think it would be very difficult to make bitcoin or blockchain disappear like that. Blockchain has more uses that other systems so they can't shut it down.

cryptocurrency will not disappear. in fact, crypto will be increasingly sought after and used by many countries and many people. cryptocurrency will continue and will grow. even in my opinion all countries are starting to consider legalizing cryptocurrency and taking advantage of crypto.

He is a graduate of Balliol College, Oxford, and an associate of Soros, so he is obviously a Deep State activist and supporter.  This means that any action or comment he makes will be designed to support the bankers, and may have little relationship with reality. It would not surprise me to hear that he, or one of his immediate family, is a Bitcoin HODLer.

Baronets is a private domain management service owned by Jet Cash.

I sometimes think that such public people specifically drown cryptocurrency, then to buy this cryptocurrency at the bottom. And then they suddenly change their point of view.
Doesnt even has to be a known person it could be a whale who takes a shot for it.  For sure that is happening, a slight drop in the price could be beneficial in higher volumes.
Even government do this greedy action,I don’t remember where I read a topic says a government official is the reason why crypto price drops hugely couple of years ago and then after the fall he bought large volume so now he is one of the whales that maybe manipulating the market prices ..

But ofcourse if we resist the panicking?for sure they will never succeed and we will be the winner at the end

Then it is a proof for those people who think that bitcoin or crypto currency is nothing, Should see the price of bitcoin $12500. it is horrible pump and someone said crypto currency is going disappear, it is strange. Actually we should see the reality and the reality is, it is time of crypto currency and every new generation like bitcoin.

There are dozens of people who says this kind of things. Cryptocurrency is still a new thing to the world, it needs to grow more than this first and world needs to adopt it. I don’t understand why people think that it’s gonna disappear. I mean, it’s so early to make this type of predictions.

This is the same Jim Rogers who once lamented that he missed the boat on investing in Bitcoin. That was five years ago, and the buffoon thought that Bitcoin had peaked at $1,000 per coin. You can find the interview here:

https://www.coindesk.com/investor-jim-rogers-missed-boat-investing-bitcoin

Five years have passed and from $1,000 per coin in 2013, and Bitcoin had an ATH of $20,000 per coin in 2017. But nothing has changed for Jim Rogers. He remains angry and jealous as ever.

I don't think he has any in-depth knowledge about cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and blockchain and I think he can't even distinguished the difference between the three. And if there is anything that could stop cryptocurrencies, that is not going to be government agencies. I think as long as there are a lot of people who are going to benefit from it, there is no such thing as possibility.

Nope. He is very knowledgeable about these. He has decades of experience in investing on various assets and currently he is the chairman of Rogers Holdings and Beeland Interests Inc. In the past also, he has made several statements regarding cryptocurrency. But that doesn't mean that we should always agree with his assumptions and predictions.

cryptocurrency are a kind of currency or payment method on other terms and that is why they are useful and there will always be a demand for them just like fiat money or regular currencies that we used offline  .

fiat money didnt ever dissapear and humans are still using them until now , the same thing can also happen on cryptocurrencies but not all cryptos will stay   . the ones will remain are the original and have a real usage  .

I am totally not in support of this because as crypto is used of late as a means of payment, it has indeed come to stay with us. it is faster, safer and anonymous which most of us want it to remain that forever.

"Cryptocurrency will go to nothing but blockchain will survive" - Jim Rodgers.

Link to the article: https://goldsilverbitcoin.com/jim-rogers-bitcoin-blockchain-cryptocurrency/

Just to be blunt, everything will disappear in time, not just cryptocurrencies. Regardless if bitcoin will survive or not, what matters is the technology that powers bitcoin- which is the blockchain technology. If he were to be true, another cryptocurrency would surely dominate and reign on the market in terms of price, which would be the next bitcoin in the market. The endless cycle continues as this would be the future outcome of the market once this event happens.

I don't think he has any in-depth knowledge about cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and blockchain and I think he can't even distinguished the difference between the three. In the past also, he has made several statements regarding cryptocurrency. But that doesn't mean that we should always agree with his assumptions and predictions.

Well if that were to be the case, better maximize the potential of bitcoin as a short-term investing program due to its high-volatility. Although he may be experienced in this line of work, no one still knows what would be the outcome of the market.

Absolutely correct. We need that crypto will remain forever and serve us for better future. Can the normal bank transaction and any other methods,Can compare them to cryptos? I hope you know the answer. Blockchain has the answer for lot of problems. We need to develop it and keep the cryptos forever. Why pay more to bank or other services for the same service?Much cheaps,safer..

It seems to me that there are unreasonable conversations about the collapse of cryptocurrency.  First of all, you need to look at the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market, and this figure already says a lot.  Moreover, today there are a lot of new projects that, based on the blockchain, implement their ideas using cryptocurrency.

Some of the reasons why Cryptocurrencies might disappear are:

1. High transactions costs, preventing small-scale transactions or even micro/nano transactions required for the Internet of Things.

2. Low number of transactions per second, which prevents it from being used in everyday life.

3. A centralised cryptocurrency that can be controlled by a few mining pools, if they wanted to.

4. An unsustainable energy consumption, even if all miners would switch to clean energy.

Yes, but unfortunately so far none of them have been able to achieve stable and fast work of the blockchain ... I hope for the future of crypto, and Bitcoin in particular, however, it must be admitted that even an ancient VISA has more transactions per second than the blockchain...

However ... as more nodes are attached, the network will increasingly verify transactions. As soon as it's large enough, it will become faster and potentially cheaper than VISA.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Well, this is juat a suggestion or prediction from someone and I have the choice to accept or deny it. I personally don't want to bother myself with some of these articles. Whether it will die or not, at least it hasn't died now and that is all that matters
