I think we are all observing the great boom that cryptocurrencies are having and every day more companies and people join the different projects, so that the news that cryptocurrencies are going to disappear has no argument and it is known that cryptocurrencies will be the basis of the world economy in the near future.

I think what Jim Rogers said did not have a strong reason. everyone is free to say anything but technology is now growing and many people want convenience. and many benefits offered by blockchain, one of which is security and transparency. as many people have said. he who said it didn't understand blockchain and crypto. just fixated on the ups and downs of prices or unstable prices so that said something useless.

How can a cryptocurrency will disapper when it is the future of thr payment system? I think not gonna happen at all, with all the adoption on bitcoin it's gonna stay forever because people wanted a changes that everyone can own something without the govern of banks and government and that's cryptocurrency.
We can’t really say that because we don’t know in the future maybe another technology will be released which is better that cryptocurrency then there is a possibility that it will disappear. With today’s cryptocurrency reputation, I think it is very unlikely for cryptocurrency to disappear. The future is an open venue for all opinions and all speculations what will happen there is still a big question to everyone, there's no assurance if crypto is here to stay since what you have said can also affects the future successions of this industry, change interest with investors and traders can't be dictates possibilities to switch to another venue of investment are always there for them to decide.

Today, all large states and international organizations positively perceive cryptocurrency, although its legalization still has certain problems. Therefore, we can assume that the point of no return of the cryptocurrency has already passed. At the same time, it is impossible to say exactly where it will lead to further development.

Blockchain Technology will definitely remain and Cryptocurrency will be on its back. Why? Bitcoin is the most reliable presentation of Blockchain Technology. Maybe the development of Bitcoin will starts when the Blockchain Technology was really accepted by all the countries. It will be called as Bitcoin's evolution.

This is very sad that Jim Rodgers thinks cryptocurrencies will be nothing. As long as blockchain technology survives, cryptocurrencies will be in existence. I guess he does not understand the whole idea of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. If he did, he wouldn't have made this statement regarding cryptocurrency...

That is very funny but I also think cryptocuurency will never die with the existence of blockchain. If crypto cuerrency will ever disappear it will surely go down with it technology trust me. Also it not any time soon for the disappearing so enjoy yourself.
Agree, I think cryptocurrency will never disappear mainly because I think no one will not use cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has a lot of benefits to most people and I think it is impossible that it will just disappear in just one blow. Also, with years of existence of cryptocurrency with all the criticisms, crypto is still alive and got a little stronger, so I can say cryptocurrency is here to stay.

Actually these words are often on media that don't like Cryptocurrency too much, but behind that they all take the moment with the panic of everyone who has been consumed by the news, and finally most people sell their bitcoin ...
If you think about it, that blockchain technology has been favored by investors and large company companies in all countries, and we have seen that Facebook companies have recently announced that they are using the technology, so the point is I don't believe that cryptocurrency will just disappear. ..

There is no logic in it. Cryptocurrency will not disappear, because a large number of people use it. There are some things that cann't be realized without crypto. Therefore, I believe that in the future, cryptocurrency, on the contrary, will become more significant than it is now. In any case, these all are assumptions.

Bitcoin has been around for nine years — an eternity in crypto-time. It’s been through hell and back several times, including a few forks in the not-so-recent past .I believe in the value and existence of bitcointrust on

Opinions are like the way we walk, everybody has his/her own unique style of walking. People are entittled to their own opinion regarding any issues they feel like addressing. But I don't think Jim Rodgers understands that blockchain technology can only function with cryptocurrency. There is no way blockchain will be able to function in its fullest capacity without cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is here to stay, unless blockchain technology dies.

The OP is not claiming that Bitcoin and Blockchain will cease to exist. Read the thread carefully and you will know that he is speaking about a scenario in which most of the Bitcoiners will stop using cryptocurrency under government pressure. We can't discount this possibility, as I am seeing this right now before my own eyes here in India.

That's not gonna happen. Jim Rogers is so wrong on this statement. Cryptocurrencies and blockchain are strictly related the one to the other. We cannot have the one without the other. All cryptocurrencies are developed based on the blockchain techonology. Having said that, if we blockchain survives, cryptocurrencies are going to survive as well.

I always want to see people making such kind of post because they are the same people who will see BTC in the future mooning and they will be like had I known. BTC if would have dissappear, I think by now it had been gone so let's all wait and see what will happen.
That's because even the saw a declining market trend but still, they give trust in crypto and even positive that it will be regaining its reputation against a negative accusation by the community. As I saw it by myself that it will be existing for many years, until such time that there is another technology that could be more useful than of crypto.

Dissappear as in what manner? I really don't know why people have been putting together such news and I know maybe they want BTC to die but this will never happen as the blockchain lives.

The blockchain lives even without bitcoin, but I don't think people who made bitcoin successful will just allow it to die. Bitcoin's success made this whole crypto market grows, and even if some altcoins are dying, there's a new one that will be created and as long as bitcoin holds dominant rate, the market will remain strong and has a potential to continue to grow bigger.

This is mere speculation that doesn't have much ground. How will Cryptocurrency disappear while it has been accepted by many countries as part of their financial asset

Opinions are also like a**holes. We all got one, and it stinks. Don't know who to credit for that but it was from Fallout. But I'm not sure you understand. Of course blockchain tech can function without cryptocurrency. And tech doesn't die, iterations of it do. They transition, they do get replaced, but as long as they are foundational, and I think cryptography is a foundational tech, blockchain can't really "die" in this sense. Money, the way money is now in fiat, and money in the way crypto is, these are fairly new concepts and they likely will evolve even further in just a few more generations. It may be cryptography continues to be used in daily life but if the concept of money does change, hard to see crypto not being a casualty of that. Not in our lifetimes of course!
