The trend seems to be a reversal phase for alts to go up against weak BTC, I'm buying some top 100 alts like ICX, nano, iota, but not bad that hard anymore as diversification is still crucial to reduce some risks. Well I guess it's not bad to fill up your bag with altcoin. Just make sure you're not going to buy alts that has a low volume. It is better to buy those who are in top 10 altcoins just you to make sure you'll earn profit.

If bitcoin slide into correction, the altcoins are expected to bounce back and be ready to buy them before their price breaks out. Buying the top 100 alts that still have small prices till this day will be good I think. But only use a small portion of our wealth to buy it, so we can hold the coins calmly. And beside holding those alts, it would be better to hold bitcoin as well.

A smart trader is a trader who can take advantage of the situation to get the benefits that his cafeteria expected. but my advice is not to choose the altcoin to invest without analyzing it first because it is risky if the altcoin cannot develop later.

I've been accumulating some altcoins at dip especially those with low sats like NPXS , DENT, FUEL  including others with great future prospect like ICX, LINK for the green days.  Well, no one can tell the future but from the past happenings, every solid project has a day when it will do well in price with a great news update. yes, with lower BTC prices, most of the other altcoins will be followed, because the price of BTC is very influential in the market. with this decline it can be utilized as best as possible to start investing in the expected altcoin because of its affordable price. make sure the altcoin to be invested has a good development later by analyzing it first so you don't regret it later.

You might consider loading with a different type of altcoin for a longer term hold.  Take a look at Bitbond which has an interesting dividend from a cryptobond set up.  I am fairly bullish on this altcoin for the long-term.  By buying the bond you will earn 4% interest. 
Bitbond is the first German STO and security tokens have higher standards for project scrutiny.  At the very least adding this as part of an altcoin cryptocurrency portfolio makes a lot of sense.  Good luck.

Of course, I always look at different parameters, while evaluating the project. And I always evaluate the idea at first, then the product, the team and expert reviews. In my opinion, all the components matter in here. Because this is what basically brings advanced solution apart from a "simple" one
