I think they are over-hyped at the moment, much as ICOs were back in 2017. Certainly they can be profitable, particularly the Binance ones. I'm just not sure about long-term holding of coins from IEOs. It is difficult to separate the value of the project from the level of hype involved.

Yes im, because the successful IEO brings more than a hundred profits instantly. IEO is the same as ICO and that will be running forever. By 2017 ico's were more popular among the cryptocurrency users, and more services were tokenized and gained good growth in a short time period than expected. Further more scams began to strike the market and as a part everything started to fall off other than the potential projects that continued with the development. Now IEO is a big part in the crypto ecosystem with more exchanges supporting the listing of the tokens for trading within few days. Myself interested as almost every IEO has profited users with good return on the investment.

ICO took more than 3 years I guess so IEO is unlikely to end by this year. Maybe after a year or two there will be a new trend setter for investing  that will be done by exchanges.

Of course who wouldn't be interested on such IEO like Harmony? Which bring like huge profits for investors. The problem is how as average of casual Joe's can go and invest on a IEO because majority of them are being sold off to insiders that's why majority of them are sold out in matter of minutes.

Yes, I think IEO will be stable in the crypto verse, specially exchanges like Binance are into it. Bringing sort of reputation unlike ICO's wherein majority is a scam.

I do not think so. Although IEO is currently helping investors with a lot of profits, sooner or later there will be fraudulent exchange.
I really recommend that people should only buy tokens at major exchanges like Binance, Huobi, Coineal, Okex, Bibox, ...
Other small exchange can scam anytime they want. then they will leave the trading floor and run away at any time.

IEO will be a new form of fund raising to replace ICO and STO. But I think it will be hot in just a few months, and then investors will buy tokens in ICO projects. According to what I know, the fee when listing on exchange is quite expensive. It will range from hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars.
According to the current situation, I find that the IEO projects are no longer hot and it does not seem to increase too much compared to the asking price.

Totally agree with this, IEO replaced ICOs and most likely they are the same, it is not worth it if you hold them for months as most of them will not survive after bull run. It is good for short term and will give you high ROI

It is true, but the IEO project has its own added value compared to the ICO project. Actually it depends on someone's perspective, how to assess and analyze the project, which is clear I suggest choosing and analyzing the launch of the IEO at the top of the exchange....

For me, IEO has come to stay and will replace ICO forever, IEO solves a lot of problem, the issue of scam has reduced significantly because exchange will do the due diligence and also liquidity is guarantee because the token get listed on exchange after IEO, STO was suppose to be the next big thing but it seems people don't want to buy into the idea

There is no finite time period,IEO seems to be better over ICO for raising funds so project who can afford IEO are going for it if there is something better than IEO then again people move towards it so nothing is premanent and everything here is unpredictable.

IEO's can have decent potential especially if the market continues to improve and startups offer more unique and innovative products, and there should also be an increase in popularity in STO's from the second half of this year which will also become attractive to a wide range of investors

I'm seeing a lot of very general statements about IEOs but no real details.  Those letters "IEO" I've seen a lot around the forum lately, and I still don't know what it means.  I'm assuming it's "Initial Exchange Offering"?  Aside from that, I don't have a clue as to what they are.

If what I'm reading here is correct, they do sound like a cash-grab attempt, much like all of those shitty ICOs that ignorant investors fall for.  If someone can give me a brief explanation or a link so I can get schooled about them, I'll be happy to reward that with merit(s).  I'm typically late to the party with these things, and that's on me.

Who will not be interested in having big profit on his or her investment within a short period of time, which we know how huge the profit of IEO can be sometimes on investment, there are thousands of people out there who has been following IEO projects from the moment Binance first launched the PAD which I have been one of them, but unfortunately, many of us has not gotten the chance to be able to successfully participate in any of them.

The cost of joining these projects are quite too high considering the pocket of average investors, and secondly, most people that even have the money does not get the chance to be a part of it because of the rush involved anytime an IEO projects is being released on Binance which usually make the token gets sold out on time.
