Arsenal are so lucky to be able to progress to the next stage of the tournament in the Uefa Europa League by scoring two late goals against Standard Liege in order to force a draw at the final whistle. I think it would be better for Arsenal if they could find a new manager as soon as possible to take charge of the team before the next stage of the Uefa Europa League starts.

A lot of interesting games last night , a surprising one ... an intense one and a thrilling one!

Gladbach surprisingly knocked out by that last minutes istanbul basaksehir goal while actually they only need a draw to get qualified, arsenal and Frankfurt both nearly kicked out too , fortunately miracle happened to them.
There's so much drama and last game of the group in Europa league mostly at stake to decide who gonna qualified.

It was another bad day for bettor as the favorites failed to get the best result but at least I just watch the beautiful of football here , we did watch that.

finally, Nemanja Matic was in the United squad for the match against AZ Alkmaar. but it looks like he will just sit on the bench. I don't know what Solskjaer thinks, players like Matic are rarely given the chance to play. I hope today he is given the opportunity to play with Mctominay

Nemanja Matic's game slightly declined after he got injured at the start of the season. In fact he was a very good defensive midfielder. Maybe this is what made Solksjaer put him on United's bench. Matic is not suitable with the style carried by Solksjaer as MU manager. Hopefully he will be played in the European league against AZ

He has no injuries and is fit but is not selected by Solskjaer for every united match. but tonight he becomes starting lineup and United successfully beat AZ Alkmaar 4-o in old Trafford. Did you guys see Greenwood tonight? he plays very well and scored brace!

So all the English teams are through to  next stage in Europa League, just as all English teams are through in Champions League,,, this is really the era of English dominance I guess right? I mean, even as bad as United and Arsenal are, they still finished second in their group, and almost could get first actually. Maybe we will see another all english final in both competitions?

I couldn’t bet in time for most of the games yesterday so I bet in play and I lost.It looks like live games are easier to predict but I almost have never won a live bet.I saw many of the big teams won yesterday which was a good result for gamblers,of course not as good as Wednesday night games but still a good one.

English league now has a lot of control in football matches I am also sure the champioan league and the europa league will be won from the English league club, there are many great teams that enter prestigious competitions and will be champions this season.

However when they achieved this, EVERYONE was happy.

I don't like the way Basaksehir and I would like more Gladbach to stay on the tournament and not Basak. The Turkish team has a lot of old talents but nothing interesting in the football they are playing.

Some really good games tbh. Arsenal going to Greece. Getafe will put up a good fight against Ajax. Club Brugge could definitely surprise Man Utd, same with Cluj against one of the favorites. Rangers vs Braga, Shaktar vs Benfica, Leverkusen vs Porto, can't for the Europa League to return in about two months.

I think that the most interesting game in this round would be Shaktar vs Benfica.
All other games are in favor of the stronger team.
I hope that the strong teams are going to have easy games so as to see more interesting matches in the Round of 16.

An interesting match in my opinion.

Brujas vs Man. United
Roma vs Gent
Olympiacos vs Arsenal.

For other clubs I look at the game so I only chose 3 matches, maybe this is enough for me to be even more interesting.

There is some good pairs in this round.
First is Shakhtar - Benfica. I give little advantage to Benfica, because Shakhtar will play during winter break when there is no games in their league and it can be important factor.
Wolves got Espanyol who is in the bottom of La Liga and played in weak group in Europa league.
Getafe - Ajax - teams which are playing completely different football. It should be interesting.
Leverkusen - Porto and Eintracht - Leipzig also sounds fun.
Arsenal got quite easy opponent on paper, but Arsenal is so bad this season that loss against Olympiakos wouldn't be big surprise.

Salzburg vs Frankfurt then Ajax vs Getafe, those are the fixtures that really caught my attention and I'd look forward to. Salzburg, despite being paired in the group of death still performed more than I expected, Ajax on the other hand blew their chances even though they're in pole position to make it through,  I look forward to how both team will fare from here.

Ajax might or will defeat Getafe at Getafe home,  but the problem for Ajax is can they win Getafe in Their own home,  this season has been one of the season that Ajax fans cannot forget,  their form has been down immensely

Anyone happy with the draw? I think the favorites have to be Inter Milan now or Salzburg. There were strong teams already in Europa for sure but these two performed so well in CL they were unlucky not to progress. The Scottish teams got lucky too I think, Braga and Kopenhagn are not so strong this season it seems.

I think the strongest team is surely Inter Milan from what I am seeing here but it is not alone.Teams like Manchester United,Sevilla,Ajax,Valencia and Roma are just a bit lower in quality and are strong contenders too.I am happy with the draw as all the strong teams have easy games and this will make the final stages beautiful to watch.

I think this is an easy opponent for Inter Milan vs. Ludogorets competition is not as tough as UCL, but still the trofi are still below UCL, but this is not a problem Inter milan has to fight over for the European league champions, maybe the toughest rivals are only Manchester United and Shaktar.

Inter will beat ludogrets and progress to the round of 16, for me it was a real shame they could not go farther in the UCL, but they have another shot at European cup glory, it may not be as prestigious as the UCL, but winning it would be great for this team. There are other good contenders as well, but inter is my favorite team to win the Europa league this season.

From champions league semi finalists to crashing out of the group stages the following season, thats the reason why the top teams always get credit for what they do, and that's consistency, Ajax couldn't keep up with what they achieved last season, they are yet to get the consistency needed to be in the KO stages of the UCL every season. I'll love to see an inter Vs Ajax final in this year's Europa league final though.

I think Inter Milan are favourite for the Europa cup,  I don't think that there is another strong  opponents that will challenge them in the competition

I will like to see Inter Vs Manchester United in final, and Inter to win  so that lukaku will treat the trash Luke Shaw posted about him when they were disqualified from the champions league
