After it went 2-0 Liverpool was very nervous but when first goal came the atmosphere changed quickly. Villarreal was already the underdog and they had a great Champions League season. Right, at least Villarreal giving a good fight against Liverpool unlike the first leg, they really got humiliated by Liverpool. It seems Villarreal is put all their power and stamina on the first half, but the second half Liverpool comeback and beat Villarreal. It was expected Villarreal would lose since their best striker e.g. Danjuma didn't play. I don't know what's the reason Unai Emery make that decision.

It is unbelievable to see Villareal scored two goals in the fisrt half and equalized the aggregated result like that. It is more surprising to see Liverpool scored 3 goals and come back. One more surprise, two goals of Liverpool scored under scrotch of Villareal goalkeeper.

This is football, the unpredictable can happen. Villarreal started the first half very well, Unai Emery men managed to close the first half with a score of 2-0, while making Agg 2-2. In the second half Villarreal started to run out of gas, Liverpool used this opportunity well. Three goals were successfully created by Liverpool against Villarreal at the same time closing the match with a score of 2-3 or Agg 2-5 for Liverpool's victory. Previously I hoped that Liverpool would go to the final, because it would present an exciting match in the last round on the most prestigious stage among European clubs.

There was an incredible difference between Liverpool playing in the first half and Liverpool playing in the second half. The same can be said for Villarreal. They lived by incredible faith at the Villarreal halftime. However, here Klopp stepped in and Luis Diaz's move brought action to Liverpool. Considering the mistakes made by the Villarreal goalkeeper in the first and last goal, it would not be wrong to say that Villarreal lost with goalkeeper errors. Meanwhile, Mane is an incredible player who has scored 15 goals. Let's see which team Liverpool will match in the final.

I think that Unai Emery choose the wrong tactic for the game.
After the early goal,Villarreal had to step back and play in a more defensive style.Then,they had to seek for a second goal at the end of the second half.I know that this seems risky,but wasting all your energy in the first half and losing momentum in the second half against a team like Liverpool seems like a suicide.
Great work done by Jurgen Klopp.He did the right replacements to improve his team's play and he managed to motivate his players during the half time.
I'm expecting an English final at this year's edition of the UEFA Champions league.

Liverpool 2nd half comeback was extravagantly beautiful that blew everybody's mind. They have shown how determined they are to win Villarreal(home and away).

Really few believed that Villarreal would be competitive at this stage of the Champions League, even more so after having lost 2-0 in the first leg.
It was a fantastic game, with 5 goals in total. Villareal showed why they managed to reach the semi-finals and beat big clubs. But Liverpool is Liverpool... hard for anyone to beat them. In the second part, they demonstrate why it is one of the best teams today.

Will we have another exciting game today? I think it's difficult to predict who will win, Real Madrid or Man City.

Congratulation to Liverpool for the massive victory they achieved from Villarreal home. Many people thought Villarreal will maintain the 2-0 they got from the first half till the end of the match, but Liverpool coach later made some changes that made the game to change for the favour of Liverpool to defeated Villarreal to qualify for UEFA Europa final. Based on what people experienced from the match today, showed that Liverpool players need to improve More because their performance in the first half was very poor which was not giving people joy at the moment until Liverpool returned back second half to defeated Villarreal.

Liverpool was the better teams overall in this 2nd leg and they deserved their victory. Respect to Villareal though. A miracle was in the air and in the reach of a possible outcome.

I think a bet on Liverpool looks attractive as I think Villarreal will have to play more openly to try to bounce back so Liverpool will have more chances to score than even in the first game. Even if the game ends with a score of 2-3, but it will be a victory for Liverpool.

Liverpool showed their class in the UEFA Champions League. Jurgen Klopp is a great figure behind Liverpool 2-3 win over Villarreal. While Mohammed Salah could not play freely in the match due to a tight escort by Villarreal players, Jurgen Klopp instead included L. Diaz by replacing Diego Jota.

The result, within 5 minutes, two goals were created by Liverpool through Fabinho and Luis Diaz until Liverpool finally won thanks to Sadio Mane third goal and Luis Diaz became the best player in this match.
In my opinion, Liverpool opponent is not Manchester City, but Real Madrid.

There are still other European tournaments and currently Villarreal are in the place or zone for the Europa Conference League, but Villarreal also still has a chance to get a ticket to the Europa League which currently has a 4-point gap with Real Sociedad as the closest team whose position can be taken over. So that way Villarreal won't be ruined because they still have that chance and also, losing some players maybe in the future due to big club offers is not a problem because that is a common thing in football and they will still be great.

It was an excellent first half. It was a classic and interesting match with a high intensity level. During the first half, Villarreal surprised Liverpool and took control of the game. Liverpool outplayed Villarreal in the second half, demonstrating their experience. Their place in the final is well deserved. Congratulations to Liverpool club, and congratulations to coach. Liverpool have been the most 'killer' when it comes to scoring. They do show the most chances not converted true,,, but percentage wise they are converting their xG (expected goals) at a higher rate than most other teams, so that is definitely translating to more goals if you give them the chance.

Villareal must win this, so from the first half if they do not attack then they have no hope.

I would not say impossible for them to beat Liverpool though. Just whether it is enough to qualify?

with them being required to play on the attack from the start would have put the risk of conceding even greater, but whatever happens Villarreal will have to do that as they are already 2 goals down.

I agree. I mean in the end we can only congratulate Villareal for an amazing and totally unexpected performance in this Champions League season. Of course the team and their fans will probably still be pretty sad today, because after the first half yesterday it really looked like they could also manage to eliminate Liverpool, but sadly it was not quite enough in the end after all. Still they managed to eliminate Juventus in the round of the last 16 and even Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals. I guess not many people would have thought that Villareal would be capable of doing this and the great performance of yesterdays first half also proved that Villareal was not just lucky so far. I hope they can keep their team together.

I don't recall anyone making us play this bad as Villarreal did in the first 45 minutes yesterday. We did not have a shot on target, our xG was 0.06, we had only 3 touches in their box and our passing accuracy was abysmal - around 65%.

I was really pissed off - we should not have allowed this to happen. Still - our 2nd half performance was good enough and overall we deserve the final.
