I was supporting Real Madrid against Manchester City to get at least a draw last night. But they were able to make do with a loss by one goal at the end. But their performance was still great against this much dominant Manchester City. I wasn't expecting such game first of all. We watched seven goals and each one of them was delightful to watch too. Manchester City got ahead by two goals three times in the game but Real Madrid dropped the goal difference to one every time. It must be really frustrating for Guardiola and I wonder how the second leg will be.

Manchester City failed to hold on to their goal lead by more than Real Madrid last night, but that doesn't mean they're playing badly. I have to say that Real Madrid was certainly lucky with Benzema's penalty (3rd Madrid goal) because after that there were no more goals during the match.

I am still very optimistic that Manchester City will be able to beat Real Madrid in the second leg even though they are only 1 goal ahead in the first leg.
