A very interesting match played by both teams, 7 goals were created with Manchester City's victory. I didn't expect that there would be this many goals, because both teams have strong defenses. Although Manchester City could dominate the whole game, Real Madrid managed to reduce the goal difference, even though they had to fall behind by 2 goals. This is one of the most interesting matches in the Champions League.

Champions League is always tough, the match was indeed tough as expected. Real Madrid were lucky to reduce there workload in the second leg by registering 3 goals, but actually Manchester city dominated the game, they really proves they are the best team in England, I actually expect more goals but they were unlucky it stops at four goals. Let's wait and see how the second leg will be, because I am sure the second leg will be tougher than this.

You're right Real Madrid always have a way of getting out of the pressure. Although it can't turn things around, this result is better if you look at the game from Manchester City. I think Manchester City should prepare better in the second leg, because Real Madrid are a scary team in the second leg. They always manage to bring great surprises. Manchester City have to remember this.

Manchester City didn't learn from Chelsea's mistake, their only job was to cage Benzima, they have one of the best defenses in the league yet they couldn't do anything, it's going to be a tough game in the second leg, they threw away their chances of killing off the game when they had the chance now let's see who goes through in the second leg, I still fancy Manchester City to eliminate Madrid. I'm hoping Liverpool wins tomorrow as well..

I'm so happy to have watched this incredible game. What a night, man! I never expected such performances in this game. I was like maybe it would end in a draw by 1-1 or 2-2. Or maybe Manchester City would win by one goal like 1-0 or 2-1. But we watched seven goals in total in this game. Real Madrid somehow managed to stay in this game by answering nearly all of Manchester City's goals. And this 4-3 result is not bad for Real Madrid actually. Maybe Manchester City seem like they are the advantageous team now as they won. But this one-goal difference can be closed by Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu.

Both Real Madrid and Man City played attacking football to the admiration of all soccer lovers and fans all the world, they both deserve accolades and respect, they took us at the edge of our sit in each of the attack launched by either of team toward the final third of their team respectively, kudos to Madrid who rather than play defensive football in Etihad came out to play attacking football and a scored three brilliant goals courtesy of Benzema and Vinicuis Jr.
Man City too were very brilliant and could have scored more goals had Mahrez released a final pass to Foden rather than being selfish.

A shocking 4-3 result, it was a very entertaining game but it is hard to believe that there were so many goals during the game. Of course now both teams still have a chance to qualify for the final even though Real Madrid lost 4-3 to Manchester City but I think Manchester City's chances of qualifying should be better.

Real Madrid comeback in the second leg needs to be woried out especially because so far Real Madrid has been very successful in beating their opponents in the second leg at home. PSG, Chelsea are the two teams that suffered defeats at home of Real Madrid, but I don't expect Manchester City to have to fail later.

this is really a very spectacular match, many goals were created and this is really beyond the expectations of many parties.  I had the feeling that Madrid would lose by a big goal difference because Manchester City were able to score quickly and lead 2-0, but Real Madrid was able to show its class as the king of Europe, El Real managed to reduce their lag and made Manchester City have to do everything in their power to defend themselves.  their advantage in the second leg later.  I believe Madrid also still has a great opportunity to avenge this defeat at the Bernabeu later.  Very interesting to look forward to!

It was really a very entertaining match, there were a lot of goals in the Man City vs Real Madrid match that was beyond expectations. Since the first
minute of the game, there have been two goals from Man City, Man City immediately took the initiative to attack and played very aggressively.
But Real Madrid also proved that they are a strong team, although I am disappointed with Real Madrid's defense that played poorly. But Real Madrid
was helped by Benzema who played very consistently, Benzema managed to score two goals and make Real Madrid only lost by one goal difference.

Well both teams were using makeshift defensive players so am not surprised the score was that ways. Most of the goals were as a result of avoidable defensive errors. I don't know If I am just delusional, but I think Manchester City just gave Real Madrid a chance to go through onto the Final.

We will see what happens 8 days from now.

I hope pep will not defend in Santiago like he did against athletico,because that would be unnecessary and even unwise! He should urge his lads to elevate their game at Bernabeu! They won't be the ones under pressure, can city show composure in the second leg because Madrid has been in this position before. Madrid did a good job but its not finished yet, they are a UCL specialist team and could always come back to cancel all advantages against them and advance in the league. We've  seen them do it to PSG with over 3 goals advantage against them. Doing it with Manchester doesn't seem like an impossible task.

Yes, Real Madrid has done a good job in this match although they got a lose. They get 3 goals away and they only need to win 1-0 in Bernabeu in Leg 2. I think Real Madrid will play more carefully in Leg 2, they must find a way to stop Man City strikers from attacking aggressively. Of course, Real Madrid has the ability to do this job, they always know how to come back from a defeat. Especially, when they are playing at home, they must have a bigger motivation to kick Man City in Leg 2.

This is not taking away the efforts of Real Madrid but it's shocking if you look at the result from Man City's perspective. They controlled the game from the start and created a lot of chances but only leads by a single goal when they could have more.

....Only that I foresee lesser goals in the next leg.

2 goals that were successfully executed by Benzema and 1 V. junior goal made Madrid able to catch up with Man City. The second LEG later (on 5/5 which will be held in Santiago) will determine whether Madrid will be able to advance to the final or even Man City will advance to the final. Manchester City successfully won over Real Madrid.  It was a very, very exciting match because there were a lot of goals.  In this match Kevin De Bruyne scored a quick goal, this became the fastest goal in the history of the Champions League semifinals, also the fastest goal scored in the Champions League this season.  Manchester City only need a draw to qualify for their second final.  However, Real Madrid's chance to qualify is also not closed because they only need a win by a two-goal difference when competing at home.

It is 4-2 now. I see very little of the prospect of Real Madrid winning now. Even in the last 10 minutes they could not create any chance to attack. The match is being dominated by Manchester City players. Real Madrid can't take any home advantage Their weakness is that they rely on Benzema to score goals. And Manchester City defenders are able to hold Benzema. As a result, Real Madrid is not able to score.

If the game had ended with a score of 4-2 in favor of Manchester City I would have agreed with you, bur fortunately for Real Madrid the final goal of Benzema put the game 4-3 which is good enough for Real Madrid to still have a chance to move forward and reach the final, however it is not going to be easy, Manchester City is very powerful when they are attacking and Real Madrid will have to take greater risks to score the goal they need, meaning that the next game promises to be as exciting as the one we just saw today.

What a game! Both teams were in top form today and I see Real in a better position at the moment. But everything is still open for both teams.
