No body can say with surely that altcoins will move like 2017 in the future. This because of the unregulated market and even the Bitcoin is not regulated in most of the countries. So, be positive for the world economy when they are going to take a bill regarding the altcoins at their senate.

We will never have altcoin season if we don't have Bitcoin season, they are proportionate with each other. The higher the price of Bitcoin, the greater the market for altcoins also.

since the beginning of this year. bitcoin dominance has tremendously affected the altcoin markets. when bitcoins raises, altcoin move very slowly but when it goes down. altcoins are heavily affected. Are we going to see any major bull market for altcoin again. we are already in the third quarter of the year. i am concerned because i strongly believed in altcoins more than bitcoin.
If you believe the altcoin will have its season again, then you must strengthen your belief in it. Frankly, no one knows what will happen but as long as alts are still there and the development still continues, such opportunity will remain exist. Just be patient! |

I don't know altcoins have a season but to answer your question, this season you talking about might take much longer to start. I suspect that the bitcoin price will have to grow above 20k before the altcoins can start making moves

There will never exist an altcoin season like the one of 2017. Why? Because by that time, BTC predominance was 55%. Now it's 66% and increasing. This means many many people are leaving altcoins and investing directly into BTC.
Want numbers? here you are.
While BTC is like 3-4% profit in last month in absolute terms of 30 days (not max and min values), ETH has dropped 24% in same BTC conditions.
Forget about Altcoins. Most of them are going to die. 95% at least. BTC is getting big investments. And Altcoins only see massive sells across the board. So deal with it. And do it now. Your money is in danger.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

I cannot make predictions, because we do not know what will happen and how the market conditions for that year. except if there are announcements from all countries in the world legalizing crypto and making regulations related to crypto growth and circulation in the country. it will be big news. why not ? we are not restricted to make our own predictions and there is no right or wrong with predictions . just say what you want whether its realistic or not . there are news or announcement if a country will legalize crypto or will ban crypto and you can also use that as a basis to know if a coin/crypto will increase or decrease . alts season on the other hand is just around the corner and waiting to be triggered by the next pump of btc . so better watch out and prepare for that |

situation not looking good it will also be a nightmare for altcoin. The only way is that Bitcoin is sideways and altcoin is pumped, but perhaps the whales will not let things happen soon

do not trust too much what we do not know for sure ... just wait until the time comes ... we are all waiting for the altcoin price to peak ... even though the altcoin price is still below but we all believe that the altcoin will go up ... and we too have to wait until the bitcoin price is stable on the market. |

The major bull run for altcoin I think will come if bitcoin reaches $15k-$20k or more than that. We got some bad weather again for the market and no one is exempted for this. I wouldn't want to discourage an investor that has most altcoin on his portfolio but it should be time for you to start stacking up bitcoin while it's cheaper today. You can recover your big losses with alts through bitcoin once it has recovered again, there will be reports that there are altcoins that has much larger gains than bitcoin but it's the safe place in the market.
This is the hope that every altcoin holders have, when bitcoin moves higher to $15k the growth will get ignited. How real this gonna happen is unknown. From 2017 every year is predicted to be the year of altcoins. Further no year has given good growth, particularly 2018 was termed to be the year of ethereum, to the expectation it served to be the worst with the price falling low continuously. This year the growth of bitcoin over the past few months was good, followed is the growth of altcoins but the difference between the growth level is very large. Hope this gets moving with equal growth over the falling weeks. Yes, the timeframe will be unknown and we're still checking if the market will be moving according to what we want. Actually the start of 2018 was pretty good until few weeks done and the market started to plummet. I can still remember that time that I wasn't able to sell because I let my greediness fed my own decision making and thought that there's more about it and the recovery will be as easy as it goes during those times but I did a mistake by that time. |

what is the reason 2020 can be a recovery for the market, I think now the market has started to improve 2020 is a year that bitcoin is going to halving and expert has said "every time bitcoin halving, we should expect strong bullish trend"! In may, 2020 precisely bitcoin daily supply will reduce by half and that means the miners that sell bitcoin often which cause dump in pricing will not have much bitcoin in their hands again and that means demand is going to increase which in turn will cause an increase in bitcoin pricing. Some of the altcoins have started picking up and that mean we would experience "altcoin season again" But it might not going to be as it happens last two years or early last year. |

Im an altcoin guy myself. Im rooting for them. But the flow of the market really favors bitcoin in so many ways. Maybe we should better start looking into bitcoin more because it is getting the attention it doesnt really have for years now.
