Since I have always been a fan of merge mine (AuxPoW) coins, as they basically run on free hash I decided to compile a comprehensive overview of all currently active scrypt merge mineable coins. This hopefully encourages pool ops to consider one or the other coin.

Please post corrections and additions, I would like to keep the OP updated over a longer period of time and therefor need your help.

There's also Huntercoin (https://huntercoin.org/), which may even have been the first scrypt merge-mined coin.

Super List!

Did not know about a few of these.

Would like to see a multi-algo version of POW chains list too, lots of the AUX intersect with the multis.

My list was ...
AUX
SXC
PTC
CDN
via
doge
leaf (but dead)

The site you have listed for NewYorkCoin is operated by a single individual and should be updated to the community site - https://nycoin.community/

Graviex is currently the best exchange with the ETH market having the most volume: https://graviex.net/markets/nyceth
See https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/newyorkcoin/trading_exchanges#panel for supported exchanges

Is the chainid 6 correct?

Thanks - no, the chain ID for scrypt merge mining is 2.  6 is the one for merge mining with SHA-256d.  Huntercoin was the first coin to be mineable with two different PoW algorithms.

AUX

...

Are you refering to Auxilium? On quick glance I don't think it is AUXPOW as its name might suggest. Though please correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you, I have added Graviex as Exchange and added the website. I kept the other website as it is the one listed in the NYC ANN.

Thank you domob, I fixed the chainid and added a comment.

please advice the best coin in this list for cpu.

thanks.

These are scrypt coins, so mining them with a CPU is futile. You’ll need an ASIC.

Sure, I think everything that helps the AUXPOW chains is good. Though as strictly scrypt-only guy, I am not in the position to compile a list for i.e. sha256d AUXPOWs as I simply have no clue what's out there.
As for POW/POS hybrids: I don't think that's feasible, there are just too many out there - many of them dead and stuck since months.

I had posted in both these threads in the past, and thought it would be good to have link there for this thread - even though I had to bump age-old threads.

Don't know if I disagree.

POW/POS hybrids:

SHA256
PPC
then?
dem
unit
osc
t3k
but yeah clunky, and stale

scrypty
nova
pink
then ?

x11
influx
mar
... but

I can only say PPC and PINK are very healthy networks.
NOVA has legacy but null market trade.

Is there a possibility to mine merged coins on pool with dedicated ports? Or it works when all coins on same algorithm use only one port?

Dogmcoin is a fork of Dogecoin,Start at block height 4253400.
This will be a fork of the Dogecoin blockchain, 1:1, no-premining, no-ico (it is like a full airdrop)
1DOGE=1DOGM
If you have 1 million DOGE, then you have 1 million DOGM.

This is the coin I created
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5400580.0

However, when I created Dogmcoin, I neglected the auxiliary chain ID, so when Litecoin merged mining Dogecoin, could not merge mining Dogmcoin.
Hope to get help to solve this problem.
Because the Dogmcoin blockchain is running, this parameter cannot be simply modified, but I don't know how to fix it.
