Alt coins will always have a role in function but will likely always be measured in terms of % of BTC.

The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

The cryptocurrency market can only be revived by large volumes of investment. No new coins can give such a strong impetus to the crypto market. The more new money will come, the faster the price of the best coins will rise, and also the more investments will go in good new projects.

The new altcoins will not be able to do anything with the old altcoins, because everyone see what demand goes to the top altcoins such as ripple or ethereum and therefore you should not even worry about it. At the moment, of course, very serious altcoins are set up for a long existence, but I also think they will not be able to compete with the most top altcoins, as well as top altcoins have not yet shown their maximum potential and lets wait altcoins season and we will see what will be with top altcoins.

New altcoins will continue to appear but only a small part of them will be able to take a tangible place in crypto. It is simply impossible in principle that all altcoins grew in price.

in 2017, all altcoins went up in price. so the same thing happens next time. but not all atcoins will survive until next time

Again, two years ago is very different, that is the time wherein a lot of beginners saw crypto or altcoin as one of the supposedly best way to earn money, get rich scheme,. A lot of logic has been defy during that time, every coin is already in a bubble and yet people join the space and think that the price would go on another parabolic rise. Bitcoin for instance was predicted to hit $50k in 2018, but it didn't happen because we are in bubble phase already.

Nice to remember that times, but we have to move on. It could happen again on altcoin market, but we have to wait. Bad timing for new coins or tokens to enter as they simply die one by one. But I will still be positive that the altcoin will still grow though, we just need to be patience and let the market grow organically.

Now there are so many new altcoins and they will definitely compete with the old altcoins, moreover the new altcoins will have a better volume. This will be a problem for the old altcoin, now the price of etherium will not go up, this will surely distort its position, and now there are also many good altcoins to invest in the future.
New projects don't have specially cared gold plans if we compare their finished solutions with the projects in the same sector. Volume is linked to the total marketcap of the cryptocurrencies, measuring it with the single dominant coin will not solve the dilemmas.
Of course, this competition spellbinds the value of altcoins, but not all of them will get ahead. During altcoin seasons top altcoins have the best chance than another. I'm absolutely fond of ETH, inasmuch as, ETH is simply the best altcoin and dominate all altcoins. It is not far to grow again, maybe it will happen before the end of this year.

I think the future of the alts will depend on Bitcoin's dominance, so far Bitcoin's dominance is too high and the alts are in a bad condition

As you said, there are many good altcoins but a centralized altcoin definitely shouldn't be on the list and I wonder why you mentioned XRP when you listed a few altcoins that have a better future.

with the presence of many altcoins now, in my opinion, it will not affect old altcoins like Ethereum, XRP, LTC, DASH, Doge, etc ... because old coins have big enthusiasts in each cryptocurency market ... whereas the new altcoin is only in one of the cryptocurency markets so the devotees aren't so crowded ... the new altcoin still needs development so that it can be recognized by all cryptocurency users ...

The future of altcoins is directly related to the future of the cryptocurrency market and the activity of its participants.
I think that we should expect a good development of events.
New players and new coins appear on the market and this means that development is ongoing.

As long as the community has been active with their progressive development, there's always a good chance for altcoins to sustain with it's future. Each of the altcoins were doing fine and it always depends on how the demand affects it's growth. What's important is that, we know how deal with our emotions during red market, because if we're able to survive the future will be profitable for all of us.

the more altcoins on the market, the more communities there, basically every coin has a community,so it's a good question how the team keeps its own community from going to other communities.Indeed, competition is very fierce in the crypto world whether it's old coins or new coins if the team doesn't provide a lot of big news on the platform then the community will go to another coin.Even statistics in 2017 large communities greatly affect the price of coins in the market.

Now the cryptocurrency has fallen very much, bitcoin clearly dominates the market, I think it is necessary to observe the market and it is better not to enter , and if you decide to enter then only open short-term transactions.

How long will the market be this way with bitcoin rising dominance? and what are the worst scenario we could face with altcoin if it gets uglier? Lets say some coin dies and a lot de-listed, with the new projects coming in, will the trend be the same with the price dump?

Maybe their will be no affect from the old altcoins, Maybe it can be more attractive those old altcoins from the future. We all know they are to many new altcoins coming it cannot be surpass from the old altcoins. And maybe in a future they are some new altcoins be going into the top.

More and more altcoins indeed make competition tighter, and of course only altcoins that have a high community will survive.  Only Altcoin who has the trust of the community will still have value, and this clearly affects the price of old Altcoins like Ethereum.  And the effect can be very high if the new Altcoin has high potential and trust from the community.
