This post is getting out of hands!
Ponzis can be seen as a gambling game; people lose money with ponzis but it doesn't make them sc.ams
A lot of them are s.cams or finish in sc.ams which is a problem (having a ponzi section where newbies can't create posts would help dealing with the problem)
Some ponzis are deceptive because they advertise themselves as an investment opportunity with dividend, the weaker among us lose more but I am sure some players made money apart the ponzis owners
Most of the specimens seen lately, during the recent mass influx, they are scams. It's highly probable that all ponzis started will end as a scam. After all every ponzi defaults at some time, no argument can be made against that. Game theory shows ponzi operators that pre-empt the collapse and run will win over those that don't. Of course the recent new breed that play rounds and refund pro-rata the pot remains after each round dies, they could be considered more fair. But without that mechanism, there is no argument for them to be called gambling (in the sense of fixed odds gambling). We know this, but most of the ponzis here take fees and have several rounds. A round ending with losers is fine with everyone as we know its gonna happen, then the next one starts. Operator takes a fee each round, so no need to run to make profit. It's a game not a ponzi. I don't approve of places like leancy though, but not gonna jump on the back of people who want to use them. OK. To increase the chances for the "legit" ponzis then you ought to at least do the right thing and attempt to kill all ponzis that do not have some slow start trust building mechanism. I realise it's a game following the Ponzi pattern. The same argument can be made for anything though, as life itself, and certainly money, is also just a game.

Is this your forum?
Hi. I can explain better "who's forum this is" It is not mine, certainly not. It does not belong to Dooglus either, but he is a large part of it too. Same for bitcoinvideopoker, pocket rockets casino, nitrogen sports, cloudbet, just-dice, bitzino, satoshi dice, and a host of other really cool legitimate bitcoin gambling sites. The legit operators are very friendly with each other. We all want to see bitcoin gambling grow and flourish. We want to see the newest gambling ideas instantly available with the awesome power of bitcoin. It doesn't belong to any of us but it's the legitimate sites that have been here before you arrived and will be here long after your scams have run their course that "own this forum" - not in a technical sense, but de facto owners. The ones that users want to hear from. The ones that help each other out even though we are "competitors." The ones on the forefront of a new industry. Ponzis and HYIPs will not come in and bully all the old school legitimate sites. We will simply fight you until you leave.

Cool story. that's a logical fallacy called a "strawman" whereby you rephrase my argument into something lesser. replace the word "old-school" with "legitimate" and you start to phrase the point better, but you forget the important part - that you are fucking up bitcoin gambling as a whole, i.e. the brand is cheapened by the biggest bitcoin gambling forum being filled with shit. The legitimate bitcoin gambling sites are pissed because for the last few weeks, new bitcoin gamblers assumed ~75% of bitcoin gambling was bullshit ponzi scams after viewing the front page of this forum. maybe using verbose language you understand the point a bit better now, and realize why I will fight so hard to crush you.

I'm pretty sure it's not actually running anymore. IIRC there original promoter of it here closed shop and labelled it a scam as it has stopped paying out it's "investors" for over a week now. On the other hand if your talking about taking the site itself down - I'm sure it'll disintegrate eventually once deposits stop flowing in.

Micon, it's useless to actually use logic and a well-formed argument against the Ponzi scam supporters. I've tried that several times only to be presented with ad hominem and contradictory attacks in response. Good luck, though. I support you and anyone else attempting to clean up the junk in this subforum. We've got to police ourselves before this shit gets out of hand.

Is someone here the king of ddos? The site is a scam, they took off with $5,000,000 in funds including my own. I see people depositing every day and it's painful to watch knowing they'll never get a dime back.

Your Chinese must be quite good. I tried the email route and it bounced for me.
Another person reported it was working for him, I've seen the site bounce off and on. If this is truly the end, I'll be firing up my BTC wallet for you.

No. Including my own (which was significantly smaller than $5,000,000, like about $4,999,000 smaller).
