Even the expert of trading and been doing this activity for so long cannot provide a serious answer. Everything in here was only speculative opinions, and with respect to altcoin price increase its definitely unpredictable. Hopefully next year there's a great news for all crypto and we will see the reality for all of those good words coming out from every person.
We have great news right and that is the Bakkt's launch. And for next year, we actually have one good news by that time. There is the most awaited time for bitcoin and that is the halving which will cut the rewards for miners and has a significant expected effect for the price to soar but it wouldn't be on effect immediately. |

Indeed, people expect the general rise of the Cryptocurrency market to happen soon, but until now we don't see any signs of that, there are only a few altcoins experiencing price increases. The dominance of the Bitcoin market still remains today. There was a sign of massive rise of bitcoin of recent in which almost all the altcoin that we have in the market including the ones that we never believe in started rising, so there is possibility that they are all preparing to rise at once, and it seems to me like the bull run of altcoin season is here already, but the coins it will affect is what I don’t know yet , but just one thing that I am sure of is that it will affected the first top coins in the market first before extending to the other project depending on how active the team are and how pushy that they have as regards their project to be well recognized one. Bitcoin dominance s gradually reducing now, not to the fullest but will surely break half way to give rise to a very clean and neat work. |

We all hoped for Bakkt launch, but it was very disappointing and right now, it should be a good signal for all altcoins. After such a launch, BTC should go down, altcoins would get their chance to raise. I find it is the right time and the right place to do so. |

We all hoped for Bakkt launch, but it was very disappointing and right now, it should be a good signal for all altcoins. After such a launch, BTC should go down, altcoins would get their chance to raise. I find it is the right time and the right place to do so. it will happen to altcoin if it does not follow the movements and effects of the decline in BTC. it would be better for both to grow together in the market even though the movement is slow, but there could be a large increase in adoption that would be very good for bitcoin and altcoin. |

Altcoins are always affected by Bitcoin. Even if they increase or decrease, they cause Altcoin to follow suit. However, there are still a lot of Altcoins that are not affected by Bitcoin, even when Bull or Bear markets are on their own while most of all Altcoins are falling. However, many Altcoins receive support from major investors. It, it still moves against the general trend. |

That's why day by day Bitcoin dominance rate increasing and right now it's 68%! I think Everyone in crypto loves Bitcoin and their first priority it is, when lots of altcoins are dying or scamming or not giving profit anymore, people stop investing in altcoins, because the real deal is always Bitcoin. Probably when the cycle completes, and we get to the capitulation or despair phase!  Now, are we already there? I don't think so. It will take a while longer. But when the time comes good alts which survived the disaster will rise regardless of what BTC does, instead of falling regardless of BTC.  |

I think that we have left those bad days behind, at least for now. As you can see, altcoins are no longer affected by bitcoin movements as before, because the dominance of bitcoin has reached a high enough level and the prices of altcoins rising. As for your question, I think that when bitcoin loses its throne in the market, altcoins will act independently of bitcoin movements. That is, if an altcoin exceeds bitcoin, the altcoins will be freed from bitcoin captivity, but this seems almost impossible in the short or medium term. |

Actually when bitcoin goes up in this condition altcoin will also increase. but the increase is not fast and in a short time because if the increase in bitcoin cannot be done then altcoin will also experience a decrease. because many people will move assets from altcoin to bitcoin. like yesterday the rise in bitcoin has the same effect on altcoin |

In my opinion the most obvious reason is Bitcoin dominance. Altcoins are not raising in any case, because investors are buying more and more BTCs, instead of investing in altcoins. Altcoins have not shown any potential during the whole year, so I can understand investors decision.
Have you been keeping an eye out on coinmarketcap? Almost everything is in the green right now. Altcoins are doing just fine and are increasing in price just as they should. I bought TRX for 178 just 2 days ago and now it's already up to over 220 satoshis. Now, it will probably dip back again and give me a chance to stock up on some more, but that's just a part of the volatile market. |
