I thought maybe Zimbabwe will be able to win this match. But even though the top order of Zimbabwe can bat well, the batsmen behind the squad are not able to bat well. In the first innings, Zimbabwe's two openers and no other batsmen except Williams could bat well.In the second innings we again saw poor batting from the Zimbabwean batsmen. However, due to responsible batting by Lorcan Tucker and Andy McBrine, Ireland won.
after watching the 1st inngins between Zimbabwe and Ireland, i laugh for their batting performance. cause only their opener batsmen were played well and rest of players weren't able to contribute for their team by making decent score, Just keep out with lower runs.
In the 1st inngins, 210-10 runs were scored by Zimbabwe where Prince Masvaure as well as Joylord Gumbie contributed directly and 250-10 runs were Scored by Ireland where Peter Moor had great contribution. And i was waiting to see, what will happened in 2nd inngins if their best batsmen get out with lower score lol. So was happened in 2nd inngins. But Sean Williams(40) and Dion Myers(57) managed decent amount of runs for Zimbabwe team but final Score was only 197-10 runs. Besides Ireland top batsman Peter Moor out with zero runs and rest if top batsman did lower score. Lost 3 wickets at 6-3 runs and 5 wickets gone at 21-5 runs. I thought Ireland was going to lose this match but i really wondered how Lorcan Tucker(56) and Andy McBrine(55) hold their team tightly and made half century each and had great contribution. Finally Ireland won and i like finished Which was kind of unexpected
