I remember the days of the great Australian squad with Waugh brothers. Shane Warne, Adam Gilchrist, McGrath and many more great bowlers and batsman. Unfortunately now they are far away from where they were ad the game has changed a lot and I dont know if it is really for the better.
That was the golden period of Australia. The Australian board now condones aggression which is suppressing their natural play. This happens when you change the attitude of the entire team which was successful for decades, competent, and fought till the end. Even now there are incredibly talented players, but they lack the aggression, competitive spirit, and intensity they once had.
Really poor start to the second test between the Aussies and Proteas. Sucks to see rain making a comeback and screwing over match after match as usual. Really surprised to see South Africa struggling badly against their opponents in this series.
Bet on the Proteas to make a proper comeback in this second test and it doesn't look like I will win that bet thanks to various reasons. Disappointing stuff from the current WTC champs.
The weather will be a major factor in this Test match. When I checked the weather prediction, it says that the possibility of rain is higher, but for the final three days, we could see play. The chance of this match going to a draw is highly likely.
