Babar Azam is struggling with his bad form from the world cup and I think he should have been rested. The same goes for Shaheen Afridi he is not bowling his best and should have been rested. In place of these two, new players could have been tested in this match. Sarfaraz, being the senior in this team, does not look good behind the wicket or in front of it. Another poor cricket by the Pakistan team, the new coach and the new captain should rethink what they wanted to accomplish in this test series against the best test playing team in the world.

Australia vs Pakistan 1st Test match is just ended. And i really wonder for Pakistan team performance, 89/10 ??!! Australia did great start up in their 1st day with Warner 164(211) and rest of players also did well. Pakistan managed to scored 271 run somehow. again Australia did avarage score 233 where Khawaja   90(190) score lead the team but Australia's 1st inning run make the target very big for Pakistan to win. It was clear that Australia going to win but never thought Pakistan would score such low run as response. And as a result Australia get their victory with 360 run which is huge score. Currently, Pakistani team is going to be crap because now too much politics involved, and they are trying to have control which is creating problems in next games we will have the worst performance from them as well which is trademark of this team and most chances next 2 years are going to be not easy for them in all formats most chances they will be dropped from top four in all formats and stay in sixth and seventh spots which are best for them with this quality and performance.
PCB needs professional approach, but it's not happening due to internal crisis in Pakistan, and they are bringing crap selectors and coaching staff as well which is making good meme for this team and country as well.

We can't blame just one person for this all mostly are having their spots just for their political views, and they are doing things which are not acceptable for the sports as well 2023 is the worst year for the Babar Azam and Pakistan with I am looking no changes in next year as well if they are not able to have selection on format and merit.

Not every team is capable of the Bazball approach in tests. Pakistan is doing the right thing sticking to a defensive approach which worked in the past thanks to legends like Inzamam as you mentioned.

This approach could still work at present as long as they have great test format batsmen which they clearly are severely lacking.

Right, in 1 st test series game Pakistan team batsman performed very poor effort and their team was defeated by huge margin of runs and Pakistan team's 2 nd inning was much worst than from 1 st inning because in 1 st inning they scored 271 runs and lost all wickets but in 2 nd inning Pakistan team scored only 89 run only and the they also lost all wickets. Pakistan team lost this game by 350 runs and this was a very high runs target. In 1 st inning of Australia was very brilliant and all batsman showed great effort in this inning. Pakistan had to chase 450 runs in order to win the match. Nobody thought they would win but nobody also didn’t think they would lose this badly. The opener Abdullah Shafique departed after only scoring 2 runs in the first over and the wickets fell one after the other like Dominos. Although Pakistan was having poor performance from their bowling department, their batting department disappointed us in the end. Only 3 players could score 2 digit runs. With this performance, I don’t see them winning any of the test matches. I think Australia will win all the 3 matches

Ever since Australia scored 487 runs in the first innings, Pakistan's confidence to win has been lost. Still Pakistan managed to score 277 runs and Australia scored 233 in the second innings and Pakistan lost all wickets for just 89 runs in the first innings. Due to this, Pakistan lost by 360 runs. Pakistan's loss was predicted in advance and the ATA predicted that they would lose by at least 200 runs where they lost by 360 runs. It is true that Pakistan played well in ODI and T20 matches but could not overcome their weaknesses when it comes to Test matches

All of them were playing test cricket as if they were new to the test format. The only player that I consider was a good choice by the PCB was Aamer Jamal. I was reading an article about him and found out that he was an Uber driver before he joined this team. This guy if trained properly would become another great bowler for the Pakistan team.

Haris Rauf lost his form, although Shaheen Afridi got some wickets in the World Cup he still doesn't make much difference with the new ball. Pakistan's fielding has been deteriorating as well. They dropped multiple catches, and let the Australians have multiple runs for free as well.

I thought the only department that they could rely on was the batting department and we all know they failed miserably. Scoring only 370 in the two innings combined. Babar can't score runs these days against the strong teams. Players like Rizwan are not on the team. They changed their captain, coaches and they have become worse than they were before in my opinion.

Shaheen shah was looking good in the t20 world cup but after marriage his performance down badly. I agree thay Pakistan should need a consistent bowler for all format just like Siraj and Shami.
