Few years back Pakistan was doing impressive in this department but now in last few years we have serious domestic issues which are preventing young generation for having things which are needed and many are already shifting outside Pakistan specially in the Middle East which is currently hot spot for them for better future and few of those are already involved in game trying to have shifted in other countries which they can secure their future.
We have too many former cricketers on social media, but sadly they are also doing nothing for the improvement of the quality because here no one going to give them funds like BCCI spending and now having good reward for this as well, so Naseem Shah is better or Shaheen Shah this is just waste of time they need to improve their technique and gaming skills if they want better results.

Pakistan is not that kind of team that will play good against India due   to politics in cricket. Pakistani Cricket picked the players by taking money . They are greedy people and they didn't took decisions on merit. Pakistani Cricket board can produce quality players but they will not produce good players. Pakistani International cricket team was strong in the time of Shahid Afridi and Misba ul Haq. Pakistani team need a player like Misbah.But that is very difficult for Pakistani International cricket board to pick a batsman like Misbah. Indian International cricket team future is very bright because they are leaders.

OP I agree with you. Because Shahensha Afridi is definitely one of the best players in the world. From the Asia Cup to the 2023 World Cup, he has seen great performances. I think PCB playing Shahensha Afridi in all three formats might have put a strain on him which is why he did not perform as well as I expected from him. Shahensha Afridi must be given a space so that he can play his games better.

When these two play, they form some kind of bond between each other that creates a problem for the batter. On one side, Afridi goes after the batter with his speed and yorker while on the other side Shah comes up with swing bowling with perfect line and length. Since Shah is not playing, Afridi is not getting a bowler who can help him on the other side of the wicket. Harish Rauf is best with T20 format, you cannot expect a fast bowler like him who has small run-up to bowl 10 overs or more. He would lose his line and length to maintain his speed, and that is why he was unsuccessful in ODI cricket. After watching Aamer Jamal I believe that he is far better than the other bowler, and he is probably someone who can cement his position in the team.

Experienced batsmen like Babar Azam and Sharfaraz Ahmed failed to bat well against Australia. And there is no chance of dropping these two batsmen from the squad right now, even if they don't perform well. Pakistan management may look for Agha Salman's replacement. Because Agha Salman could not take a single wicket in two innings, could not bat well. I don't see any experienced players to replace Agha Salman in the squad. I think Pakistan will keep their squad unchanged in the next match as well. They will face Australia in the second match with the same squad.

But in test cricket you need to show aggression, since wicket taking is the priority. In case of Shaheen, this is exactly what happened. He tailored his bowling to suit the T20 leagues, and as a result he can't take wickets in test format. Your cricketing sense is amazing and today really feeling happy as we are part of this cricketing community here on this forum because your observation about these all is perfect with this all now it's time for all boards to have two different teams for white-ball and red-ball games and also increase their wagers as well because both can give their best for the game which will bring better performance and increase of quality is also essential for this all.

Pakistan still have good potential which can bring them back into good frame in all formats, but they need to work hard for the grooming of their players which is currently not happening because no one know how things are working and what to do for the game with after Rameez Raja we have serious mess-up which is bringing non-professional peoples which are not good for the Pakistan cricket team and their all system.

Pakistan needs to find bowlers for each format and prepare them for only specific formats. This way their mentality and the game sense doesn’t change. Shaheen has been struggling lately to take wickets from new balls. In the World Cup although he got a good amount of wickets no one recognized his performance.

Naseem Shah's absence is a big issue here. Haris Rauf is also going out of form. He conceded heavy runs in the World Cup. They need to get back their form. Aamer Jamal is an interesting bowler and if Pakistan can nurture him properly he can become a very good bowler. The pressure will be reduced among the bowlers.

Pakistan also needs to find good spin specialist bowlers. Shadab Khan's recent performance has been very bad and the few matches he performed came from his bat. Nawaz can't perform under pressure and he is not that good of a bowler either.

Shahzad was more disciplined compared to Aamer Jamal in the first test (although he was not as successful as Jamal). Now his absence is going to be a headache for Pakistan. Either they need to open the bowling with Shaheen Shah Afridi and Aamer Jamal, or they need to give the new ball to one of the bench pacers such as Hasan Ali. Personally I will not prefer Hasan Ali, because he has repeatedly failed against Australia. But if they don't have any other choice, then they will go with him. Second match will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), and this ground always offer some assistance for the spinners as well.

Instead of Kharam Shahzad i think Pakistan will select mir Hamaza who is good test bowler also Hassan ali playing the second test match is more chances. Dude, are you serious? Do you really believe that Shaheen Shah Afridi is in great form? Ever since he lost his virginity, his bowling form has been pathetic. Even in the first test, it was the debut duo of Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal who did most of the heavy lifting. In case Shahzad is not fit, then I believe that Hasan Ali will be included in the playing XI. I am not sure whether they will prefer inexperienced Mir Hamza over Hasan. He has played just 3 test matches so far and all of them in sub-continental conditions.
